The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 368: Chapter 168: Tormented Female Lead’s Aunt (Part 6)

”Student Xiao D, how difficult is this task?”

He Tiantian asked subtly without showing any emotion.

Student Xiao D was clueless and casually answered, ”It’s the same as the last task, both are three-star level difficulty!”

The same as the last task?

That statement seemed to have no problem.

The last task, though tough, was indeed intense, starting with a kill scenario.

But to say it was impossible to complete would be an overstatement.

With one experience under their belt and multiple successful task completions in the novel world, writers usually managed to avoid pitfalls.

However, several writers still failed the last task, which could be due to PTSD from ’death,’ but it surely had something to do with He Xiaotian’s scumbag villain character.

Even a person with normal principles, being forced to act as a villain day after day, would subconsecutively be somewhat affected.

And He Xiaotian was truly evil, exerting a much stronger influence on normal people.

Although there was no concrete evidence, He Tiantian always had the feeling that once she—as the writer—was influenced by the script character role, it would definitely not end well.

It was highly likely that the system would also impose some form of punishment.

Of course, He Tiantian needed to continue observing and speculating.

That was why He Tiantian had always been so resistant to playing the villain, not just because she adhered to her principles but also due to these concerns.

The script roles in the task world were like a big dye vat, easily entrancing those with weaker resolves.

In the last apocalypse task, the vat was filled with dark ink, severely eroding the writers, thus increasing the difficulty.

And this task—

He Tiantian carefully recalled the script again. The original character, He Sitian, was indeed top-grade, but definitely not a scumbag.

She was just too selfish. She hadn’t taken active steps to harm the female lead, and at most, was just an accomplice, a co-offender!

This level of vat had limited corrosive influence on the writers.

But, this task’s difficulty was also rated three stars. Could there be hidden difficulties within the task?

For example, the female lead in front of her inexplicably made He Tiantian feel an abnormality.

”Aunt... how is she?”

Su Muxue, appearing sixteen or seventeen, had fair skin, delicate features, and a small face plumped with baby fat, adding a touch of greenness and tenderness.

Perhaps due to practicing dance from a young age, her figure was slender, matched with her delicate beauty and outstanding temperament, making her seem like a fragile piece of top-grade porcelain.

Despite her apparent frailty, her almond eyes shone brightly, as if resilience and sunshine exuded from her very bones.

Her contradictory aura made her endearing and likeable.

No wonder Overbearing Boss Leng fell in love with Su Muxue at first sight.

Her voice was also soft, as if a feather gently brushed over one’s soul.

He Tiantian snapped back to reality and asked indifferently, ”Have you asked your uncle?”

While she was lost in thought, she didn’t miss out on the conversation with Su Muxue.

So, she knew what Su Muxue’s ”how is she” was referring to.

He Tiantian quite liked the female lead before her; clear-eyed, clean in spirit, in the throes of adolescence yet without the rebelliousness typical of youths.

Orphaned by both parents and dependent on others, she didn’t become insecure, devoid of love, or timorous but instead became more sensible.

In reality, He Tiantian was about the same actual age as Su Muxue, but having spent hundreds of years in the task world, playing roles from mother to grandmother, she had developed the heart of an elder.

And to someone as ”ancient” as her, she liked girls who were well-behaved and beautiful.

Su Muxue wasn’t merely relying on the Protagonist Halo, she was genuinely outstanding on her own.

Put it this way, He Tiantian, who was always dealing with supporting roles and sacrificial lamb scripts, couldn’t help but like her, which attested to her excellence.

But, He Tiantian couldn’t break character.

He Sitian, as an Eldest Miss who had been married to Zhao Wenkang for no more than two years, hadn’t even had enough of their couple’s world, let alone wanted her own real parents to disturb their newlywed life.

Yet Zhao Wenkang had brought a sixteen-or-seventeen-year-old niece to their little home.

He Sitian wasn’t able to love everything associated with her husband, but she truly loved Zhao Wenkang. Seeing him plead in front of her, even though she was reluctant, she reluctantly agreed.

Yes, reluctantly!

He Sitian was a selfish, willful, and extremely self-centered rich beauty. She managed to agree to living together with a foreign niece who she had no blood relation with and barely knew for the sake of her husband.
