Reborn In The 90's: Saving My Siblings With A Fishing System

The more Han Ruochen thought, the angrier she became. She knew how calculating her mother was. ”Mom, don’t think that you are the only one who is smart and everyone here is a fool. You know Dad’s temper, and yet you still went ahead and borrowed the money. Do you really think that as long as you borrow the money from Dad’s acquaintances, you do not need to repay the money and Dad will never find out the truth? You said that you borrowed the money for Ziyan’s job.”

”Do you want me to go to the warehouse and find out if the job really cost twenty thousand yuan? And even if it did, what kind of life is our family living? Ziyan already had a job. Why did you have to change it so soon? Mom, put your hand on your heart and think about it carefully. You had it all planned out. You knew that Dad and you were married. Even if you could not repay the money, Dad would have to repay the money in your stead, even if he was not willing. In that case, Dad’s money will eventually be used on you and Ziyan.”

”Twenty thousand yuan, Mom! You actually borrowed such a big sum of money; even if Dad works for another six or seven years, he will never be able to come up with such a sum of money. He worked for twenty years, and he could only save ten thousand yuan. Where will he get twenty thousand yuan? Wouldn’t our entire family work hard to repay your debt? You wanted our entire family to slave their arses off for you and Ziyan!”

Han Ruochen knew what was going on in her mother’s head.

Meng Yunhan knew that Han Yichen was a man of pride. He had always been careful and mindful of his image in front of his clients and partners. Even when he did not have enough money, he did not dare to skive off or delay even a single payment. So, if those men had asked her father to repay the money that her mother had borrowed, her father would never delay the payment, even if it meant turning himself into a pauper. Regardless of his initial plans, he would repay all the debts as long as he had the money with him.

She also knew that her husband was not capable enough to come up with such a sum of money; then naturally, he would ask their children. Since that was the case, then all of their family money would once again fall into her hands, and she could use it as she wanted!

As husband and wife, Meng Yunhan was really too scheming!

Han Ruochen did not dare to pamper her mother.

”You...are you going to open the door or not?” Meng Yunhan banged on the door again. She was embarrassed and angry when she thought about how Han Ruochen knew what was going on in her mind. Indeed, she had this plan in her mind. She knew that Han Yichen was the kind of man who would rather sell his pants off than keep a debt on his head.

As long as she borrowed money from his acquaintances, she knew that her husband would do everything in his power to repay them. Even if it meant lowering his head and borrowing the money from his children. That way she did not have to worry about anything, and she could continue doing it every six or seven months.

But if Han Ruochen refused to comply, then there was no point in planning something like this.

”No! I did not do anything wrong, so why should I get beaten up by you? Don’t tell me that you really wanted to just talk with me. I know you well enough to know that you want to take your anger out on me, Mom!”

”You are not allowed to tell the truth to your father.” Meng Yunhan was anxious. If Han Yichen found out the truth now, then he would definitely cause trouble for her. ”Did you hear me?”

Anyway, Han Ruochen had already paid back the money, so as long as this girl kept her mouth shut, no one would know anything.

But would Han Ruochen be willing? Of course not! She pursed her lips and sneered. ”I heard you, but I will not do what you asked me to do. Mom, you will have to bear the consequences of your actions.”

”You dare disobey me? Do you even take me as your mother?”

”It’s all up to you. Who am I to say anything? If you don’t want to take me as your daughter, then who am I to say anything? But the matter of debts cannot be ignored.”

She had to deal with her mother firmly, or else she would end up developing the habit of borrowing money from her father’s acquaintances and then using it on Han Ziyan and her father. It was better to control her mother before she started to run amok.

Even if she knew that her mother was not going to return the money, she had to keep this matter in her hands such that her mother would stay quiet for the next few months and wouldn’t cause trouble for their family for the time being.

”You...” Meng Yunhan was panting with anger upon seeing how stubborn Han Ruochen was being. She glared at the closed door. With that darned girl hiding inside the room, there was nothing that she could do to her. If it was up to her, she would have hacked off the door and made sure that Han Ruochen would learn her lesson, but at the same time she knew that she couldn’t do it.

Han Yichen was not at home, but Old Madam Han was in the village; if she dared to make loud noises, then her mother-in-law would not leave her alone.

”Fine, you have the guts! You are the best in this family!” Meng Yunhan raised her foot and kicked the door angrily. ”I am warning you, if something happens to your dad then you can only blame yourself!”
