The Golem Mage

The bustling city of the Orc lord, that was connected to the War God Mage Academy’s space passage, appeared to be quite busy at the moment.

As various high-ranking Orcs were making their way to the palace, after being summoned by the High Orc lord.

The meeting was being held in the grand palace hall, with the high-ranking Orcs finding seats for themselves.

However, the main person they were waiting for had not yet arrived, and despite the Orcs’ notorious temper and refusal to be looked down upon, they all sat in silence for the time being waiting for the Orc lord.

Among those waiting patiently was Grimgore, positioned near the wooden throne adorned with numerous swords and decorated with skulls of various races.

It appeared to be supported by the softest pillow available, this was the throne of the High Orc lord who had called them all to the meeting.

Suddenly, a creaking sound caught the attention of all the Orcs present as the high Orc lord entered the room.

Their gazes focused on the towering figure of the green-skinned Orc, covered in tribal tattoos.

His hair was braided and left free, adorned with small ornaments.

Walking bare-chested, he wore only a battle skirt, to cover himself.

As he took his place on the throne, the Orcs stood and bowed in his direction. ”Sit!”

The Orc commanded, his eyes scanning over the gathering of Orcs, as they all sat, eagerly awaiting his next words.

”I have heard of your failure at capturing the human city, Grimgore. What do you have to say for yourself?”

The Orc lord spoke, releasing his powerful Peak Tier 9 aura upon Grimgore. While resting his jaws in his hands, he gazed at him with an indifferent expression.

”My Lord, our plans were disrupted by unforeseen variables that emerged, Otherwise, the city would have been under your esteemed name,” Grimgore replied, bowing his head respectfully.

”Tell me, who are these unexpected variables?” the Orc lord inquired.

”The hermit known as Alderic and the wanted mage, Terran Dunce,” Grimgore responded.

”Hmmm, Terran Dunce dares to still enter the Abyss?”

”Ohhh, it seems it’s time we go human hunting. We have to kill that bastard!”

”Terran Dunce was responsible for the death of many of my children. It’s time I have my revenge!”

”Silence!” The High Orc lord interjected, raising his left hand to bring back peace to the scattered hall at the mention of Terran Dunce’s name.

”I know of Terran Dunce. I have approved a bounty on his head, However, it’s a shame we still haven’t captured him after all this time, Do you really think he would wait for you all in the human city after what he has done? And if anything ever happens to him we would have to face the wrath of his master”

” and I’ve seen that bastard, and he surely loves his life, There must be a reason why he came to the Abyss, We need to find out and set a trap to finish him once and for all.”

”Now, I want you all to know that the Orc monarchs have increased their demands on us, Before, they only wanted the lord’s of each Orc city to take control of the guided space passage they face, But now...”

”They want us to attack with full force during the next blood moon, It seems they have reached some sort of agreement with the vampire race and the Dragoniacs.”

” So, there will definitely be more Tier 8 participants in this battle, Get ready, as the Titans are about to clash,” the High Orc lord concluded.

The expressions on the faces of the high-ranking Orcs changed in an instant.

To them, it seemed like the higher-ups were rushing for something, but no matter how they asked, they were kept in the dark.

The Tier 7 Orcs now felt that they would also be relegated to cannon fodder, and the chances of them dying had increased.

Meanwhile, the Tier 8 Orcs, who hadn’t had to pick up their weapons in a long time, wondered what was truly making the lords uneasy.

”One more attack on him, and I promise you that you will regret it!” Bolton Blaze shouted from afar, his gaze fixed on Alec’s hands hovering above Lucky’s head.

With the brown earth element runes revolving around Alec’s fingers, the bullet kept rotating rapidly, as if begging to be released.

Bang!

Alec released the bullet, his gaze locked with Bolton Blaze.

”I will kill you,” Bolton dashed towards Alec, who swiftly kicked Lucky’s body back, He had shot Lucky in the shoulder, shattering everything the bullet encountered.

The strike was lethal and vicious.

”No one tells Alec Gordons what to do, especially not someone who is not even an instructor of the War God Mage Academy,” Alec said calmly to Bolton, who was now holding the unconscious Lucky.

Bolton glared at Alec with deadly eyes, but Alec maintained his nonchalant attitude, his hands in his pockets, while his burnt robe fluctuated with the wind.

Bolton wanted to charge at Alec and tear him apart, but he realized that they were no longer in the capital city, and the ancient Blaze Clan held no authority in this area, nor did the Royal Mage Academy.

Although the higher-ups in the War God Mage Academy might overlook the fights of the younger generation, as they were ashamed of the disappointment they brought upon the academy’s name.

However, they would never stand by while someone like Bolton Blaze attacked Alec there rising rookie.

The Academy boasted many fierce instructors and strong fighters, thanks to their involvement in different space passages and their participation in numerous blood moon wars, by aiding other cities.

So, considering all the deeds performed by the young mages Bolton had brought along in this few days, if he were to mistakenly harm Alec, the instructors might go wild and use it as an excuse to punish him for his students’ behaviours indirectly.

”Make sure he realizes why the Royal Mage Academy is still the most favourable of all academies!” Bolton declared, turning to Iver Dragonmir and Asher Blaze as that was his only hope now, to use a student of the Royal Mage Academy to defeat Alec a student of the War God Mage Academy that way the fight would never surpass the student zone and it won’t affect him.

”Long time no see, Alec Gordons. Do you still remember me?” Iver asked teasingly.

”Yes, I definitely remember you, you’re that weirdo whose ass I kicked back at the capital, are you the one who asked for a rematch?, Are you the reason why my brothers came back home with injuries and broken bones?” Alec interrogated, his tone filled with anger, as Iver simply shrugged in response.

”I know nothing of that, I’ve never been interested in all the fighting the juniors, I only agreed to come to this academy to defeat you and regain my honour,” Iver explained indifferently.

”Why are we wasting so much time talking to him?, We’re definitely going to fight, so let’s just do it,” Asher Blaze declared, stepping into the arena. His body was ablaze with ice blue flames.
