Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1207: Chapter 1221: As Long as Everyone’s Happy

”No need to give us a ride alone, we’re also heading to Saintly Charity Nursing Home.” An Ran said as she opened the rear door, and Xiao Xiao climbed in from the other side.

Upon hearing this, Zheng Kai’s eyes lit up, ”Are you going to do volunteer work at the nursing home? Which area are you headed to? I can introduce you to the grandparents there.”

An Ran felt a bit awkward, facing Zheng Kai, she couldn’t help but feel somewhat inferior.

Although she’s also going to the nursing home, it’s because Grandma Li’s going, so she’s accompanying Xiao Xiao.

”Sure, we’re planning to spend the day at the nursing home, so please take care of us then.” An Ran replied.

”I say, Zheng Kai, are you really familiar with Saintly Charity Nursing Home? Why does it sound like you’re going home?” Xiao Xiao joked, laughing.

”Xiao Xiao, you don’t know, but the nursing home is like my home. I spend almost every holiday there, and all the elders treat me like their own grandson.” Speaking of this, Zheng Kai was a bit proud.

Xiao Xiao’s view of Zheng Kai immediately changed, ”You’ve got something there, Zheng Kai. I didn’t expect you to be such a caring guy. However, you spend every holiday at the nursing home; don’t you go back home?”

Xiao Xiao glanced again at the car he was driving. From Zheng Kai’s attire and the car he drove, it seemed his family was well-off; otherwise why let him drive to school?

Moreover, Zheng Kai’s car was driven out from the Nan University campus, with the Nan’an University access pass on the windshield, which is not something just anyone can obtain.

”My mom is the director of Saintly Charity Nursing Home. By visiting the nursing home, I get to see family and the elders at once, killing two birds with one stone.” Zheng Kai said while driving.

Xiao Xiao nodded, no wonder he gets to drive to school, turns out his mom is the director of the nursing home. She’s even more impressed with Zheng Kai now.

At Saintly Charity Nursing Home, every medical staff is highly paid, not to mention a director. Zheng Kai’s family is undoubtedly well-off, yet both Zheng Kai and his mother treat the nursing home like their own home, considering the elders there as their family. This love alone is worthy of respect.

Recall hearing Zheng Kai mention before that his family resides in Nan’an City, but he chose to lodge at the school because his parents are busy with work and he’d be alone at home, while it’s lively at the school with classmates.

With each holiday spent at the nursing home, clearly his mother is a devoted director.

”By the way, An Ran, didn’t Instructor Mu teach you how to drive during the summer vacation? How’s your learning going? When can you take the driver’s license exam?”

Xiao Xiao suddenly changed the topic and looked at An Ran to ask.

Seeing her bright eyes, An Ran felt like covering her face.

Back when Mu Xingfeng agreed to teach her driving, she boasted excitedly to Xiao Xiao, but now, thinking of the two unpleasant driving lessons...

Hehe, as long as everyone’s happy.

Seeing An Ran’s face change like a color palette, Xiao Xiao teased, ”No way, even with Instructor Mu’s help, you still haven’t learned?”

”Don’t bring it up, it’s not that I can’t learn, it’s that Instructor Mu stopped teaching me,” An Ran sighed, ”Actually, my comprehension and memory are pretty decent, but once I’m in the car, I can’t remember the steps, and I can’t seem to distinguish between the brake and the accelerator. In the end, Instructor Mu had to give up on me as a student. He said for the safety of people’s lives and property, I should say goodbye to getting a driver’s license.”
