Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1187: Chapter 1201: Superb Acting Skills

”Who can’t do nursing? I’m a professional doctor from Nan University’s Medical Department. Isn’t it just about taking care of an elderly person? Are you saying I’m not as good as a volunteer like you? I say she can sit up, and I don’t need you gesturing around here.” Cai Fen’s face was full of arrogance as she listened to the boy’s words, looking disdainfully at the cushion in his hand and struggling to adjust the elderly person. Her eyebrows showed a hint of impatience.

”Who are you trying to fool? A professional doctor from Nan University’s Medical Department would come here to be a caregiver?” The boy clearly didn’t believe her, sizing up the female nurse.

”Who is a caregiver? Look carefully, I’m an intern doctor, an intern doctor,” Cai Fen said, pointing at the badge on her chest.

The boy leaned in to take a closer look and indeed saw that she was an intern doctor. He looked even more contemptuous, ”Since you’re an intern doctor, you should know how to care for an elderly person at risk of pressure sores. Grandma Wang has first-stage pressure sores on her hips and waist, some areas are about to reach stage two. If not properly taken care of, Grandma Wang will suffer. As a professional doctor, how can you be so careless? The heart of a doctor should be compassionate; with your attitude, you’re not fit to be a doctor. If you continue like this, I will complain about you to Dean Fang.”

Upon hearing the boy say he’d complain to the Dean, Cai Fen’s face showed a hint of guilt, and she sheepishly replied, ”It’s just a matter of adding a cushion. Actually, Grandma Wang doesn’t even have pressure sores. If you insist on adding a cushion, just do it. No need to be so alarmist.”

As she spoke, Cai Fen struggled to lift Grandma Wang. However, Grandma Wang was half-paralyzed, unable to exert any strength, and as a young woman, Cai Fen couldn’t lift her after several tries.

The boy watched her for two seconds with arms crossed, ”Get up, I really doubt whether you graduated from Nan University’s Medical Department, you can’t even do basic patient care.”

While speaking, he effortlessly slid the cushion under Grandma Wang with his own strength.

After placing the cushion, the boy looked up and met An Ran’s eyes.

An Ran was also a little surprised; she hadn’t realized it as she had been facing away. Now she saw that the boy wasn’t someone else but her classmate, Zheng Kai.

”An Ran, why are you here at the nursing home? Are you volunteering?” Zheng Kai noticed An Ran.

An Ran felt somewhat awkward. Zheng Kai had genuinely come to serve the elderly, while she just came...to have a look.

”Mr. An came to inspect,” Dean Fang interjected, smiling at Zheng Kai, ”Did something happen just now?”

Zheng Kai was clearly startled upon hearing the Dean’s title, just about to respond to Dean Fang when he heard a woman behind him call out, ”Little Zheng, take Grandma Wang out to sunbathe. The sun is just right now, not too hot and warm. I’ll go bring Grandma Qi out.”

After speaking, Cai Fen seemed to just notice the group of people, especially when she met Dean Fang’s gaze, and appeared even more surprised, ”Hello, Dean Fang.”

If not for the glint she saw in Cai Fen’s eyes when Dean Fang was talking to Zheng Kai, An Ran might genuinely believe Cai Fen was a diligent nurse.

Perhaps if Cai Fen entered the film industry, with her exquisite acting skills, it wouldn’t be surprising for her to win an award.

An Ran thought to herself.

”Cai Fen, there are more serious cases in this area. As a graduate from Nan’an University’s Medical Department, I’ve assigned you here out of trust and to make the most of your skills. Although there are more professional medical staff in this area than in others, it’s still not enough for these elderly patients. If you find anything you’re not used to, feel free to mention it.”
