Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1170: Chapter 1184: East Meets West

The sea breeze blows in with the melodious sound of waves.

An Ran pouted, ”Mu Xingfeng, you’re bullying me. You promised to bring me here for fun and celebrate my birthday, but I haven’t even had lunch. I’m starving, and you’re still trying to bully me.”

Seeing the little one looking like she’s about to cry, he directly stepped forward and hugged her small body.

”I’m sorry, hubby made a mistake. Hubby missed you too much. Soon, hubby will make something delicious for you, and then we’ll go play on the beach. I’ve heard that when the tide goes down in the evening, little crabs will climb onto the beach.”

”Really?” At the mention of crabs, An Ran’s eyes lit up.

”Of course, how could hubby deceive you,” Mu Xingfeng said seriously, but was thinking to himself that his little darling is really easy to please, isn’t she?

Having such an adorable little wife is his fortune in this lifetime.

”Then give me a good massage,” An Ran immediately found a comfortable spot to lie down, directing him to continue serving her.

After finishing the massage, An Ran directed Mu Xingfeng to carry her for a bath, and only then did she sit refreshed at the dining table.

The villa’s kitchen is open-style, so sitting at the dining table, one can see the man bustling about in front of the kitchen counter.

On the table was a three-tiered birthday cake, adorned with various fruits all around, and An Ran occasionally picked a piece to pop into her mouth.

”Hubby, what are you planning to make?”

Watching him busy at the kitchen counter, An Ran couldn’t help but ask, mainly wanting to know if she could really taste the food he made.

Mu Xingfeng looked up, noticing some cream still smudged at the corner of her mouth, looking incredibly cute, he smirked, ”A fusion of East and West.”

After speaking, he continued with his task.

East and West fusion?

An Ran was intrigued, and walked over. As far as she knew, without her guidance, this man could even mess up cooking a simple bowl of noodles, yet he planned a fusion?

”Don’t come over,” upon hearing the girl’s footsteps, Mu Xingfeng stopped her.

The more he prohibited her, the more curious An Ran grew, itching to know more. She quickly walked over and upon seeing him, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Mu Xingfeng was chopping onions; perhaps they were too pungent, because even this tall man had red-rimmed eyes.

An Ran reached for a tissue, helping him wipe the corners of his eyes, ”Hubby, no need to trouble yourself so much. If you can’t do it, your wife can teach you or even do it herself.”

Mu Xingfeng pinched her petite nose, this cheeky girl dared to tease him.

”Hubby, are you making steak?” An Ran looked at the ingredients Mu Xingfeng prepared, having already guessed, though his mention of East and West fusion left her unsure.

Mu Xingfeng nodded, placing the chopped onions aside, away from the two of them, then took out beef to slice into thin pieces, saying softly, ”Besides steak, I’m also making longevity noodles for my little birthday star.”

”Steak and longevity noodles?” An Ran surveyed the man, ”Hubby, are you sure?”

Mu Xingfeng’s knife slipped, almost cutting himself, he stood straight with a wicked smile on his lips, ”Didn’t you just test whether hubby can?”

He dipped his head suddenly and leaned in closer, looked into her glistening eyes, and teased, ”Or maybe the impression wasn’t deep enough just now, and you want another experience?”
