Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1165: Chapter 1179: Let’s Go, My Little Princess

”Mm, I really like it. Husband, you know what? Back then Xiao Xiao and I made a promise that when we earned our first pot of money, we’d go to the seaside and stay for three days and three nights.” An Ran leaned against Mu Xingfeng, speaking very seriously.

”Why three days and three nights?” Mu Xingfeng didn’t understand.

”To eat seafood, of course. You don’t know, the seafood in Pingxi is really expensive, so Xiao Xiao and I decided we’d go to the seaside, rent a fishing boat to catch seafood, then eat for three days and three nights straight, eat till we’re totally satisfied.”

Mu Xingfeng: ”...”

Sure enough, he really couldn’t place too much hope on his little girl.

But also, only his little foodie would treat eating as her dream.

”Wifey, look over here.” Mu Xingfeng turned a corner with her in his arms. An Ran looked back and was instantly drawn to the pure white villa behind them.

She’d heard before about seaside view hotels or sea-view rooms, but on such a huge stretch of beach, there was only this one villa.

The pure white villa covered a large area. All around were beautifully trimmed green plants. On one side of the villa stood tall coconut trees. If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, a place like this was something she’d only think existed in dreams.

”So beautiful,” An Ran murmured under her breath.

Mu Xingfeng was already standing in front of her, making a gentlemanly ”please” gesture. ”Let’s go, my Little Princess.”

An Ran lifted her hand onto his big palm, letting the man lead her up to the villa and push open the milky-white picket gate.

”Mu Xingfeng, did your transfer order back to the Imperial City come through?” An Ran suddenly asked. There was a faint tremor in her voice that even she didn’t notice.

Because once his transfer to the Imperial City came through, he’d be leaving soon, so that was why he brought her to the sea, prepared all of this for her, letting their last days in Nan’an stay frozen in something beautiful.

”You actually don’t have to do this. I’m mentally prepared. Even though I feel a bit down, I’ll take good care of myself. You have your faith, your mission. I respect that. You really don’t need to—”

Before Mu Xingfeng could answer, An Ran continued, but when her eyes fell on the table in the center of the room, the words at her lips abruptly stopped.

On the table in the middle of the room was a three-tier birthday cake, and on top of the cake was a pretty Barbie doll.

Mu Xingfeng turned his head to look at the dazed little girl. ”Do you like it? Happy birthday, my Little Princess.”

Only then did An Ran remember that today was September 1st. Mu Xingfeng had said he’d checked her Gregorian calendar birthday—it was September 1st—and that from now on he’d celebrate this birthday for her.

She had long since tossed his words to the back of her mind, yet this man remembered every bit of it and had even prepared such a surprise for her.

An Ran nodded again and again, her eyes heating up. ”I like it, I really like it.”

Seeing her reddened eyes, Mu Xingfeng slipped an arm around her slender waist and dropped a kiss on her forehead. ”From now on, I’ll spend every birthday with you.”

An Ran nodded hard. ”Husband, when did you prepare all this?”

When had he managed to get all this ready? As far as she knew, after training, Mu Xingfeng just happened to come back when she jumped into the river to save someone. Yesterday he’d been at the hospital the whole time and hadn’t left her side for a single step.

Mu Xingfeng’s thin lips quirked up. ”Secret.” Then he grabbed her small hand and ran toward the second floor. ”Come on, let’s go take a look.”

Seeing Mu Xingfeng acting all mysterious, An Ran’s small face flushed bright red. She scampered after him on her ”little hooves,” happily trailing along.

On the second floor, in the bedroom, as the door opened, the first thing that came into view was a king-size bed decorated with red rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart—extremely romantic and incredibly suggestive.
