Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1162: Chapter 1176: Whatever My Wife Says Goes

Huang Tao was extremely unwilling, but thinking about An Ran’s situation, he still nodded and agreed to go home with his father.

At that moment, the door to the ward suddenly swung open with force from the outside, and Huang Xiaowei’s guard walked in with a panicked look, saluted Mu Xingfeng in the ward, and said to Huang Xiaowei, ”Sir, something has gone wrong; just got a call saying Sister-in-law Sun went home and fought with Teacher Huang, stabbed Teacher Huang’s eye with scissors, and now they’re on their way to the hospital.”

”What?” Upon hearing this, Huang Xiaowei couldn’t care about anything else and pushed the door open, leaving the ward.

Huang Tao had nothing to pack. Qu Jing said goodbye to An Ran and also pulled Huang Tao to follow him out.

An Ran glanced around the ward that had suddenly quieted down, still unable to process the news just now.

Sister-in-law Sun was just at the hospital earlier; judging by the time, did she return to the Guard Team and went to Huang Xiaoyu?

”I didn’t expect Sun Lufang to be so stubborn,” An Ran sighed, recalling how her eyes reddened in the ward earlier; it was somewhat frightening.

”Maybe this is just karma,” Mu Xingfeng poured a cup of water and handed it to her, ”Have some water, drink small sips.”

An Ran took the cup and took a sip, ”Honey, why do I feel like you’re a bit unkind?”

Mu Xingfeng raised an eyebrow, ”What makes you say that?”

”Feels like you’re a little schadenfreude right now,” An Ran held the cup, sipping the water slowly, not daring to look up at the man.

Mu Xingfeng sat at the edge of the bed, his large arm around her waist, ”Whatever my wife says goes. Those who bully my wife shouldn’t get to be comfortable; Sun Lufang acting out saves me the trouble.”

The thought of Huang Xiaoyu knowing but not reporting made Mu Xingfeng clench his teeth in hatred. Had he not happened to pass by there, considering his wife’s headstrong nature, fumbling around such a wide river, she’d likely have been swept away by the current.

At this time, Liu Hu returned from outside carrying dinner. Walking in and seeing An Ran drinking water, he asked, ”Sister-in-law can eat now?”

”Got a chest X-ray done; she can eat,” Mu Xingfeng helped to move the small table over, while Liu Hu opened the food boxes and talked about the situation outside.

”When I entered the hospital, I happened to see Huang Xiaoyu being brought in by the Guard Team, screaming non-stop. I heard the scissors pierced the right eye, bleeding a lot, probably can’t save the right eye. Sun Lufang was also detained by the Guard Team’s security, but Sun Lufang was clearly unstable, kept shouting Li Lele’s name, beat Huang Xiaoyu bloody without blinking. Doctor Jing suspects Li Lele’s death greatly shocked her, leaving her mentally unstable. Li Dajun also applied to the Guard Team to see if we could perform a mental evaluation on Sun Lufang since Huang Xiaoyu is seriously injured which warrants criminal responsibility.

The Guard Team has approved, and tomorrow Sun Lufang will be sent to the city’s psychiatric department for a professional assessment. Li Dajun just lost his son, the Guard Team sympathizes with him and doesn’t want him to lose his wife too.”

”Captain Li is also a pitiful man,” An Ran sighed after hearing Liu Hu’s words.

”Other men don’t need your pity; you should pity yourself first,” Mu Xingfeng opened a bowl of millet porridge, scooped it with a spoon, felt it wasn’t so hot, and brought it to An Ran’s mouth.

Liu Hu saw this and tactfully retreated.

An Ran grinned and reached out to take the bowl and spoon from Mu Xingfeng’s hand, ”Honey, are you treating me like a critically ill patient? I can actually manage on my own.”
