Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 365: Chapter 378: Lin Family’s Birthday Banquet (2)

Lin Junyang, who got involved without reason, wailed, ”Grandpa, Brother Wenxuan is five years older than me, five years!”

While speaking, he exaggeratedly stretched out five fingers.

”I don’t care. I lost to them in holding a grandson first, so I must make an effort to hold a great-grandson first. Next year, you must find a granddaughter-in-law for me. If you can’t find one, I’ll have your parents do it,” Old Mr. Lin said, puffing his beard, as if saying, ”You must get first place in this exam.”

Lin Junyang looked up at the sky speechlessly, ”Grandpa, let’s be reasonable, okay? You lost to Grandpa Shen and Grandpa Mu in having a grandson. Can you blame me for that? If you want to blame someone, blame my dad for not seizing the time, okay?”

”Hey, you little rascal, itching for a beating? Daring to tease your old man?”

Lin Weidong shouted coldly from the side, causing Lin Junyang to shrink his neck immediately, making both families laugh heartily.

”Hasn’t Old Man Mu arrived yet?” Old Mr. Shen asked as he walked towards the house.

”He’s already on the way,” Lin Weidong replied.

Upon hearing that the Mu Family was coming, Shen Mengya beside Old Mr. Shen’s eyes lit up, ”Is Brother Mu coming too? Will Sister Ran come as well?”

Brother Mu? Sister Ran?

Old Mr. Lin was momentarily stunned upon hearing this, clearly not understanding who the little girl was referring to.

”Yes, they’re all coming,” Mu Wanxin said from the side, completely missing Lin Ruonan’s pale face.

Is Xingfeng bringing her? Does that mean the Mu Family has acknowledged Mu Xingfeng’s girlfriend? Have they even acknowledged that girl as one of the Mu Family?

Judging by Mu Wanxin’s attitude towards that girl, it was completely a tone of treating her as family.

Old Mr. Lin saw his own granddaughter’s face looking quite bad, a flash of coldness in his deep eyes.

He had already guessed who the two people mentioned by the Shen family girl were.

Ha, bringing that woman to his birthday celebration, was it to upset him?

Thinking this in his heart, he still maintained a cheerful expression on his face. Old Mr. Lin led the Shen family into the house and showed Old Mr. Shen to the main seat.

”Oh, old man, I can’t sit here. You are the birthday star. How can I sit here?” Old Mr. Shen refused.

”Brother, without you, I wouldn’t be here today. My life is owed to you. No matter the occasion, this seat is always yours,” Old Mr. Lin said, his eyes slightly red.

”Old man, let’s not bring up the past. Today is a joyous day, and you are the star. Don’t decline,” said Old Mr. Shen, pressing Old Mr. Lin into the seat and then sitting next to him.

Old Mr. Lin had no choice but to sit in the main seat, looking enviously at Shen Wenxuan and Mu Wanxin sitting together like a golden couple beside Old Mr. Shen.

”Brother, you are really blessed, having such an outstanding grandson like Wenxuan, the most important thing is they give you so much peace of mind. He and Mu have been together since they were kids, right?”

Old Mr. Shen looked at the two beside him, smiled, and nodded, ”Yes, these two kids have been compatible since they were young. It’s really a case of lovers finally becoming family.”

Upon hearing this, Old Mr. Lin’s eyes darkened, looking at his proud granddaughter beside him, ”Lovers finally becoming family, I only hope my granddaughter can also join her beloved and make me close my eyes in peace.”

”Grandpa, what are you saying on such a joyous day?” Lin Ruonan complained discontentedly upon hearing her grandpa’s words.
