Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 354: Chapter 367: The True Masochist

Lin Ruonan ignored Gu Haoyu, opened the car door, got out, and walked directly to the driver’s seat. She pulled the door open, ”Get out.”

It was Qi Wei’s first time seeing the usual cool and noble Miss Lin look so fierce. Without thinking much, he quickly got out of the car and scrambled to the passenger seat.

Lin Ruonan got into the car, slammed the door shut, and before he could react, the car shot out like an arrow from a bow.

”Ah—, Miss Lin, this is the city...”

As Qi Wei scrambled to pull out his seatbelt, still looking for the buckle, the car made a sharp turn, and he was thrown to the side.

”Miss Lin, slow down... slow down... ah...”

Qi Wei was being tossed around, disoriented, the seatbelt buckle still in his hand.

Finally, after exiting the city to a stretch of highway, Qi Wei managed to fasten his seatbelt, his heart finally coming down from his throat. When he saw the streetlights rushing past outside the window, he instinctively glanced at the speedometer, seeing the needle pointing to 300.

Qi Wei swallowed hard, gripping the handle tightly, then turned to look at the Boss in the back seat.

He saw Boss Gu lounging back in his seat, watching the woman driving at high speed. Gone was the urgency from when she got out of the car, replaced instead with a look of admiration and enjoyment.

It was unbelievable. How could the Boss look so enamored in a speeding car? Could it be that the Boss is really a masochist?

He didn’t know how long they drove, only noticing that there were fewer and fewer cars on the road. Eventually, the car stopped on a hillside.

”Urgh—”

Qi Wei was the first to rush out of the car, ignoring the Boss behind him, and ran to a tree to vomit.

Poor him, for eating so much delicious food at the party tonight.

Lin Ruonan opened the car door and got out, standing by the roadside, looking at the night scene down the hill. The cold wind blew, lifting her short hair.

Gu Haoyu took a blanket from the car, walked up behind her, draped it over her shoulders, and held her, keeping her company.

After vomiting, Qi Wei looked up to see his Boss and Miss Lin standing on the hill in the cold wind. His mouth twitched; in the dead of night, did they really have to flaunt their affection here? It was freezing winter!

Flaunt their affection? No, that couldn’t be. Wasn’t Miss Lin in love with Young Master Mu? Boss had always been subtly pushing them together. But seeing them now, Qi Wei had a bad premonition.

He had heard that Young Master Mu had brought back a young girlfriend. He had seen her once during a ski trip. That girl looked quite young and was indeed charming.

So, Miss Lin was heartbroken. But what was Boss doing? Was he planning to take advantage of the situation while she was vulnerable?

Qi Wei was startled by his own thoughts, feeling a rush of panic.

His Boss had never liked any woman before, and now he had fallen for his friend’s woman? If word got out, it would ruin Boss’s lifetime of reputation.

As Qi Wei was pondering this, he saw the two get back into the car. He eagerly followed, only to hear Gu Haoyu say, ”Go get the bottles of wine from the back.”

”...” Were they not going home?

Gu Haoyu took the wine Qi Wei handed him, poured a glass for himself and Lin Ruonan. Lin Ruonan accepted the glass without looking and downed it in one gulp.

Gu Haoyu’s deep eyes flickered, but he said nothing and continued to pour for her.
