Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 358: Chapter 371: Light Injuries Don’t Take You Out of the Fight

Mu Xingfeng listened to the girl’s complaint and turned his head, giving a roguish smile, ”Why did you pin me down and not the other way around?”

”How could someone as upright as Instructor Mu do such a thing?”

”You little brat, go change your clothes quickly.”

As Mu Xingfeng spoke, he reached out as if to give her a smack.

An Ran seemed to know what Mu Xingfeng was about to do, jumped out of bed, and made a face at the man on the bed.

To be honest, the reason An Ran was willing to be so clingy with Mu Xingfeng for so long was partly because she was dazzled by Mu Xingfeng’s good looks, but more so... she really didn’t want to go do that damn morning workout with Mu Xingfeng.

Heaven knows, every time Mu Xingfeng took her for a morning run and military boxing practice, it was like he became a different person.

No wonder there was the saying ”Cold-faced Yama”; when it came to training, Mu Xingfeng’s demands were extremely strict, not allowing the slightest laxity.

The daily training regimen he set for An Ran was a three-kilometer run, followed by a set of military boxing moves, and every move had to be perfectly executed. If it wasn’t up to standard, she had to do it over.

What to Mu Xingfeng seemed like a moderate amount of work felt like it was stripping a layer of skin off of An Ran.

”Mu Xingfeng, I’m injured. Can we skip today’s morning training?” An Ran asked pitifully as she stood at the bathroom door.

”Minor injuries don’t excuse absence from the battle line. I don’t think your injury is bad enough to miss a morning run.” Mu Xingfeng said while taking off his pajamas and putting on workout clothes.

Seeing Mu Xingfeng’s physique, An Ran wiped away some drool.

Instructor Mu’s body was too impressive, even better than those male models in magazines.

His muscles were well-proportioned, evidently built from long-term high-intensity work, completely different from the quick-fix steroid-induced muscles.

The muscles were clearly defined, the lines were beautifully fluid, making it hard to look away.

Even when he finished putting on his top, that gaze still lingered on him. Mu Xingfeng curled his lips slightly.

There was a ”clang” from behind, as if something collided. Looking back, the bathroom door was already closed, and Mu Xingfeng’s smile grew wider.

An Ran squatted on the ground, rubbing her sore elbow, glaring fiercely at the bathroom door yet feeling extremely guilty.

With such a big commotion just now, would Instructor Mu find out she was peeking at him? How embarrassing.

An Ran cursed under her breath, then heard a knock on the door from outside, ”You little brat, are you ready yet?”

”Coming... Coming,” since she couldn’t resist, An Ran had to put on her workout clothes and walked out of the bathroom.

Seeing Mu Xingfeng, and recalling the scene just now, An Ran’s ears turned red involuntarily.

”You little brat, why is your face so red?” Mu Xingfeng tried to stifle his laughter, asking in all seriousness.

Teasing this little girl was just too fun, obviously lacking the guts for mischief but always doing mischievous things.

”Is... is it?” An Ran tried hard to act natural upon hearing Mu Xingfeng’s words, fanning her face with her small hands, ”Maybe it’s the heating in the house that’s making it a bit warm.”

”In that case, let’s go out and cool off.”

”...”

Heh, don’t stop her, she just wanted to die a little.

In the end, An Ran had no choice but to follow Mu Xingfeng out of the villa, jogging along.

Probably to accommodate An Ran, Mu Xingfeng’s pace wasn’t very fast.

An Ran had seen Mu Xingfeng’s morning runs before; he would usually finish a five-kilometer distance in thirty minutes.

Ever since he started running with her, it took more than thirty minutes to cover just three kilometers.
