Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 356: Chapter 369: She Will Be Your Madam Boss

”No need to go back, just head to my place directly.”

”...”

Qi Wei didn’t even know what to say anymore. Should he intervene or stay out of it?

Back at the mansion, Gu Haoyu carried Lin Ruonan out of the car. By this point, Lin Ruonan was already quite drunk and very dazed, allowing Gu Haoyu to carry her without any resistance.

It was already early morning, and the servants were all asleep. Hearing the commotion, the night-duty servant ran out and respectfully said, ”Sir is back.”

”Go rest, nothing here concerns you.” Holding Lin Ruonan, Gu Haoyu bypassed the servant and went upstairs, directly into the master bedroom.

The master bedroom!!!

Qi Wei’s expression had long since cracked. He dismissed the servant and followed into the master bedroom. Lin Ruonan was drunk and unconscious—alone with a man, the fire was ready to ignite!

”Water...water...”

Gu Haoyu placed Lin Ruonan on the large bed, took off her shoes, and heard her mumbling. He picked up the cup on the bedside table and headed downstairs, seeing Qi Wei still standing in the living room looking exceedingly conflicted.

”Something else?” Gu Haoyu asked while pouring water.

”Well...BOSS, there’s something I’m not sure if I should say or not.” Qi Wei rubbed his hands. After much thought, he decided to remind his boss. He knew Miss Lin inside and out from spending every day by his side, unlike others.

Although she’s a woman, she comes from a special forces background. Given her strength, he couldn’t take on five of her. Although the BOSS was also a military graduate, he had been in business for so many years that his skills probably weren’t enough against Miss Lin.

Who knows if the BOSS might do something taking advantage of Miss Lin’s drunkenness tonight? By morning, he might not even see the sun!

”If you think you shouldn’t say it, then don’t.” Gu Haoyu tried the water’s temperature, speaking without looking up.

Seeing his boss’s nonchalant attitude, Qi Wei finally gritted his teeth and said, ”BOSS, although Young Master Mu has a girlfriend now, and Miss Lin is heartbroken, you shouldn’t take advantage. Have you thought about how Miss Lin would live with herself after you do this?”

Gu Haoyu raised a brow upon hearing this, put down the cup, crossed his arms, and stared at Qi Wei. He finally realized what had been off about Qi Wei tonight.

”Qi Wei, I see your courage is growing, daring to meddle in your boss’s affairs.” Gu Haoyu’s voice cooled.

”No...no, I just think, given your qualifications, if you want Lin Ruonan, it should be done honorably, not...not...”

Feeling the pressure intensifying, Qi Wei wisely chose to shut his mouth.

After a full half-minute of silence, just when Qi Wei thought the BOSS would lay into him heavily, the man finally spoke: ”Rest assured, I won’t take advantage, and Miss Lin will be your future boss lady, the only boss lady.”

After speaking, he picked up the water cup and went upstairs.

Miss Lin will be their boss lady? The only boss lady? How domineering was the BOSS’s tone?

Qi Wei instantly calmed down. Well, he knew his BOSS wouldn’t do anything unreliable. Finally, he could sleep peacefully.

The person who was just worried seemed like a different person now, shaking his keys and humming a tune all the way to his room.

After feeding Lin Ruonan some water, Gu Haoyu helped her take off her outer clothes. He then realized she was still in her evening gown. He had no choice but to call the servants to come and change her clothes.
