Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

They held a Scepter enveloped by clouds, and around them swirled white clouds like those in the sky. They walked throughout the entire Empire, providing aid to all the citizens of the Empire.

The last Cloud Sage sacrificed themselves during the final battle with a Demon at the time of the Empire’s destruction.

The area where the Scepter resides is filled with fallen spirits willing to let their souls descend to protect this last Scepter.

Obtaining the Treasure brings unbearable consequences, facing enemies one should not confront, but nothing is absolute.

To avoid bearing such consequences, you must solve the problems that arise after obtaining the Treasure. (Perfect)

Alka read the latest info on the Treasure, where it mentioned that nothing is absolute.

Of course, he knew this, but the question was how to meet the needs of all parties using what method?

To acquire this Treasure without triggering severe consequences, Alka needed to accomplish three things.

1. Clear the souls of the Demons, those Demon souls that died in this area were also dragged into this place. Taking the Treasure would cause Demon souls to return to the Abyss.

This was the easiest problem for him to solve right now, as his Dream Realm was gradually connecting with this area, and he could directly drag them into the Dream Realm and throw them into the furnace.

Ensuring that these Demon souls disappear completely also allows for greater contributions to the world.

2. Protect those souls that still possess personal will and have not been tainted by the Abyssal aura.

Alka first thought of the Soul-Host Puppet, but the issue was that he did not understand the state of these spirits.

Being tainted by the Abyssal aura to turn into an Evil Spirit is obviously not something that happens quickly, but gradually.

This method may or may not work; only further understanding could reveal the truth.

Of course, there is also a significant chance that they wish for liberation, but Alka has no intention of making decisions for others without consent.

3. Prevent the countless Evil Spirits of the Ghost Soul Mountain Range from harming others.

This is the most challenging part because these Evil Spirits are not ordinary. They are creations formed through ritual, combined with the Abyss’s immersion, and the Treasure as the core marker.

They do not completely disappear even if destroyed; instead, they emerge again from unknown places.

Perhaps removing the Treasure, releasing the bindings, could really accomplish their destruction. But by then, they would have already stormed out of the Ghost Soul Mountain Range.

For the sake of an orange Treasure, releasing countless warring Evil Spirits to ravage the backside of the World Scar.

This is completely not worth it and could even cause problems at the front line, with transport routes disrupted at the rear.

No one can bear such a cost.

Moreover, neither Alka nor Chadite would do such things.

After all, this Treasure is not absolutely necessary.

Through recent interactions with those two spirits, Alka clearly understood that they were definitely not the first Treasure Hunting Team to come here.

Previous teams had not done such things, perhaps because they could not defeat those Evil Spirits.

Secondly, they might have retained basic sanity, not overwhelmed by the Scepter Level Treasure.

After all, at the Fifth Stage of power, no fool exists.

Organizing his thoughts, Alka fell into contemplation.

”What are you thinking about? If it’s really unmanageable, we could just turn and leave.” Lucilia, at some point, had leaped onto Alka’s lap, leaning against his waist and abdomen, said.

Alka reached out his hand, resting on her, letting her embrace him.

He said, ”But these problems must be resolved, right? The trapped Demon souls must be eradicated, and those wandering spirits in the mountains, though pitiful, also need resolution.

And those spirits that still harbor wisdom shouldn’t remain here facing a future of only despair, should they?”

”Yes, you’re right. If possible, we should help them. So do you have any ideas?”

”The souls of the Demons are easy to deal with, but the ritual they are holding, what state is it currently in? What exactly is the connection between these Evil Spirits, this area, and the Treasure?

If I can’t figure this out, I can’t organize my thoughts clearly.”

Hearing Alka’s questions, Lucilia fell silent.

After a long while, she finally said, ”I know, I know the type of ritual she is conducting, and I roughly understand the current state of the ritual and their interrelated connections.”

Hearing this, Alka looked down at her.

”You know?”

”Of course I know, I’m quite knowledgeable.”

Hearing this, Alka nodded.

”Then tell me about it.”

Lucilia nodded and began to narrate what she knew.

”Holding such an extravagant ritual clearly isn’t something she can accomplish alone, coupled with various materials and initial preparations. It’s also not something they could have completed at that time.

This is why they used a Scepter level Treasure as the core of the ritual; only something of this magnitude can bear most of the consumption, avoiding the need for complete preparation and use of materials.”

”Remember the Realm of Pitch Darkness?” Lucilia suddenly said.

Hearing this, Alka nodded.

Of course, he remembered.

”That maritime region also resulted from triggering a Treasure, which now appears to have been through a ritual.
