Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

After Alka finished reading the Moon Worship Scripture, he closed the book and sat at the table, resting his head in thought.

The entire book’s language and narrative style can be described as completely filled with religious meaning, written exceptionally vague and mystical.

Even the Holy Mother’s scripture is not as complicated as this.

This kind of scripture can easily provoke an issue, which is that the various doctrines within the scripture can lead to different interpretations, eventually causing a split in the church.

Especially for the Moon Worship Sect, it is a sect that doesn’t believe in the true god.

... Not necessarily, this matter still cannot be guaranteed.

The scripture in Alka’s hand had some inserts and annotations, and from the handwriting above, it was evident that the inserts and annotations came from different people. Although sometimes detached, at least they followed the same ideology.

Moreover, the few diaries he read also originated from different people.

The most tattered one, which still had some bloodstains and was preserved the least well, was the earliest possessed by someone who left the Moon Worship Sect with the divine artifact.

The remaining two were one from the sect leader who died when the last temple was destroyed and the other from the girl among the two surviving children.

From these, a thread of history could be sorted out.

At that time, the sect split due to ideological differences, coinciding with someone who possessed the divine artifact leaving with it.

Then they came to the World Scar.

From his diary, Alka could roughly discern why the split occurred, as the individual holding the divine artifact likely came into contact with the world’s Sea of Consciousness.

Experiencing the world’s pain.

So they came to the World Scar to resist the demon, which is the simplest and most direct way to help alleviate the world’s pain.

Because this place is the world’s most painful wound.

Yet the general doctrine of the Moon Worship Sect still seemed somewhat strange to Alka. Their veneration of the moonlight does not truly relate to the real moon and moonlight but is an abstract concept.

This is the general concept Alka derived through the religious interpretation from the scripture in his hand.

The sect regards the night as similar to the suffering and torment wise intelligent life might endure.

They see the moonlight within the night as salvation in suffering and torment.

Through the scripture, Alka could tell that this so-called sect seemed to be a very positive kind.

They worship this moonlight, thus they aim to bring salvation to those in pain and suffering, simply put, helping others.

Of course, due to differences in interpretation of this helping spirit, each person’s aid varies somewhat.

Some individuals are overly extreme, which might be the reason this sect is categorized as a heretical sect.

”A very interesting record, based on these diaries and scripture, I can piece together a story.” The mutual circulation allowed Lucilia to also finish reading these books.

At this moment, Alka had already opened the map, looking toward the orange light pillar on the map.

Placing his hand on the light pillar, the extended information box had undergone complete transformation.

[Pale Moon]

[Difficulty: Moon Power User]

[Fame: 255]

[Treasure Information: The sect’s supreme treasure, titled the Pale Moon treasure by them. They consider it a gift from God; wielding this treasure allows one to transform into the moon and summon pure, flawless light.

And the sect also headed toward destruction due to the loss of the treasure, hundreds of years ago, due to an accident, this treasure drifted into this war-torn region.

Become shrouded in moonlight, cherished by thousands who revere you for your help, grateful to you for your aid.

Once you are embraced by moonlight, revealed by the moon, in the deep darkness of night, accept the baptism from the moonlight.

In front of the moon god’s statue, take the Pale Moon you need to hold, bringing brightness to the darkness’s suffering.] (Perfect)

Looking at the information above, Alka smiled, indeed.

The three diaries and scriptures, along with the annotations, had practically enabled Alka to completely understand this religious group.

Not necessarily understanding the entirety of the religious group, but at least grasping the side that possesses the treasure.

And the so-called Moon Power User and the scepter-level treasure hidden are almost strongly related to the religious doctrine.

Alka once again acquired perfect treasure information.

To be honest, it had been a while since he encountered perfect information. Because at his current stage, even with imperfect information, he could use various means to obtain the treasure.

The so-called embrace of moonlight has a clear definition in the sect and diaries; through the three diaries, this ritual can almost be perfectly reconstructed.

Because of the three diaries, two of them were by people who split from the sect with the treasure and the last sect leader of the temple who successfully completed the ritual.

This significant experience was perfectly documented in their diaries.

”It means that if one wants to obtain this treasure, the ’embrace of moonlight’ ritual should be quite crucial, right?

You see, it clearly states above, only those who complete this ritual can truly become a Moonwalker and possess the Pale Moon.”

Jason read these books and, through the information network above, summarized his understanding.

His understanding was practically no different from what Akka currently knew, so after he finished speaking, Alka nodded at him.
