Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”This is a very small temple ruin, it should have been built by an individual.”

Lucilia said.

Before Alka went to the Demon Hunting Fortress, she had already inspected it here.

She said while leading Alka into the ruins.

Although it’s called a ruin, only the ceiling and external walls have collapsed, some parts are still preserved.

Arriving at the internal area, stepping over the debris of ruins, one can see a statue used for worship at the deepest corner.

Alka looked at this statue.

This is a faceless goddess holding a round ball.

The full moon and crescent moon float above the goddess’s head.

Alka closed his eyes and opened them again, peering with eyes that could see secrets, looking at the statue.

On this sculpture, traces of faith still linger, one can see these kinds of traces on prayer statues within various churches.

Alka could feel the breath on it, very faint, but with a murmuring sound.

Listen carefully.

It seems to be calling out, using the language known as the White Crocodile Language similar to moon-related terms.

On the surrounding walls that haven’t completely collapsed, there are various moon-related murals.

”Do you have any interpretation of these murals?”

Lucilia shook her head: ”No, mainly because these murals are not coherent, and many have been destroyed.”

”From the traces of destruction, it’s evident that this temple was invaded, judging from those combat traces, it’s most likely demons.”

Alka nodded, he had also noticed these when he first entered.

But the so-called traces of destruction caused by demons are not from the invasion of demons a millennium ago, but rather destruction caused by one of these instances of demon raids here, which have turned into the World Scar.

Then the orange point of light must be the Scepter Level treasure known as the Pale Moon here.

But the question is, how to obtain it?

The Moon Power User, from a literal understanding, means having the power of the moon.

Alka and they were also aware of spells related to the moon, but it seems to have no connection with Moon Power Users.

Moreover, based on what they saw in the Splendid Grand Library regarding introductions about the Divine, during the Golden Era there was indeed a Divine related to the moon, but this Divine was one of the traitors.

Left this world a long time ago.

Obviously, the so-called Moon Power User is neither possessed by the Moon God Power User nor by a favored one of the Moon God.

But supposedly, someone has definitely taken this treasure and there’s evidence of its use.

This temple must have housed no fewer than 20 people a few hundred years ago.

The ruins of the temple are still here, the treasure is still here, but the people are no longer here.

Meaning that.

”Alka, perhaps you should come and see.”

Jason’s voice came from outside, Alka heard it and took Lucilia out, arriving at the location where Jason and others were.

This should have been the courtyard of the temple.

Chadite pointed to a small mound in front of him: ”There’s a skeleton inside here, based on the skeleton’s placement, it seems to have been buried by someone.”

Speaking, he also pointed to the area beside it.

”There’s more of them here, it seems someone buried these bodies.”

Hearing this, Alka nodded, it didn’t differ much from what he thought.

This temple was clearly destroyed by a sudden attack, but the treasure is still here.

Now it clearly indicates that there were living people in the temple.

It shouldn’t be this way if the treasure still exists; since it’s a temple, probably only the leader of the temple or the higher-ups knew how the treasure was stored.

It’s impossible for everyone in the temple to know how to obtain the treasure.

If the believers here considered the treasure as a blessing from the Divine, they certainly wouldn’t use this treasure anytime, anywhere.

Most of the time, they should worship it, aligning with a believer’s behavior.

Meaning, to know how to find the hidden treasure, it can only rely on themselves.

”If only we could find alive people from this temple.” Alka couldn’t help but said.

”But so much time has passed.”

Hearing this, Alka also felt a bit helpless.

Indeed, perhaps the living people have long left this place.

Of course, Alka also felt that maybe those alive went to the frontlines to directly battle demons, which is a way of seeking revenge, isn’t it?

But over decades or centuries, who knows if the person has died, as well as if there are any descendants.

Because Alka wanted to know the operation mode of this temple and how exactly did this temple conduct prayers. Even knowing some of their teachings would be good.

The way to unlock might lie within these ordinary information.

Especially likely, in the prayers and some ritual methods.

And the so-called Moon Power User is very likely the church’s own terminology. Not necessarily related to the moon.

After pondering these, Alka turned and said: ”Forget it, let’s go to the frontlines first.”

”Which area are you planning to go?” Chadite asked curiously beside him.

After all, the length of the Demon Defense Wall at the frontlines is astonishing, with various fortress nodes scattered on it.

”The Demon Hunting Fortress is fine, the Holy Sword Fortress is fine too.” Alka replied.
