Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

In the camp beneath the night sky, the flames of the central campfire burned on the logs, emitting crackling sounds, and on the table beside the fire.

Alka and the others sat around it.

Though everyone was gathered around it, their expressions could be divided into two groups.

One group was naturally Alka and the others.

Alka frowned as he stared at Jason, then turned to look at Lucilia, who was gazing skyward on his shoulder.

Chadite and others nearby remained silent, smiling as if preparing to watch a drama unfold.

Alka then spread the map out on the table, looking at yet another dim golden spot, circled and glowing with golden light.

Looking at the Difficulty on the golden light.

[Child]

”Hmm...”

Child? Alka never thought that Jason and the others would fail to find where the Treasure was.

Yet the fact was, Jason really hadn’t found it.

Indeed puzzling, he said, as he took Lucilia off his shoulder and placed her in his palm.

Even with Alka’s gaze fixed directly on her, Lucilia tilted her head, completely avoiding his gaze.

”It’s one thing that Jason and the others didn’t find it. But what about you? Didn’t you offer any useful ideas?”

Hearing this, Lucilia knew she couldn’t escape, sighed, and looked at Alka helplessly, saying, ”I did suggest something, but... we turned that place upside down and really didn’t see anything.”

Jason and the others immediately nodded upon hearing this: ”That’s right, you mentioned something might be in the ground, we nearly plowed the whole area but found nothing.”

”We even searched around for places where things might be hidden, but likewise saw nothing.”

”Alright, why don’t you start over and recount your entire process to me?”

Jason nodded and started recounting their journey to everyone.

”The area on the map, the place you marked, is a small woodland. It’s relatively better compared to the surrounding environment, much better than here too.

Initially, we thought maybe the woodland you marked was where to start digging, thinking maybe the trees were the coordinates.

But after digging for a long time and finding nothing, we had no choice but to dig through the entire area, yet found nothing notable.

We then began to leave the woodland and check around, even digging for possible hidden spots.”

This is why, despite being closer to the camp, they only reached there slightly ahead of Alka and the others.

As they recounted, the night sky’s curtain was drawn open to daylight.

After hearing the recount, Alka found no major issues, but why couldn’t they find it?

Could this Difficulty really be misleading?

Child.

For any other difficulty treasure, Alka wouldn’t be this perplexed.

Yet pondering further was futile.

He stood up and tapped the table: ”Come on, let’s go together. I want to see how deeply this thing is hidden.”

So saying, everyone quickly ran out together.

Chadite and the others were also curious, as they’d previously asked. Alka had clearly indicated the Treasure Jason and the others sought was of very low difficulty, practically like picking up cash.

Yet failing to get it was quite amusing.

Pororo was seen patting Jason’s shoulder with a smile.

Though they’d been up all night, for Alka and the others, it wasn’t anything unusual.

At their stage, even long periods without sleep cause little harm.

Sleeping normally is merely to maintain their condition.

Soon, they arrived at the map’s glowing spot.

Just as Jason had said before, there was a small woodland here, surrounded by lush weeds, clearly better than most of the desolate wilderness.

Except for the small woodland, the surrounding trees grew sporadically.

In the woodland, some gray-white birds could be seen nesting above.

Observing carefully, these birds weren’t aggressive, and their feathers were smooth, with no sign of any abnormal mutation. Surprisingly, they hadn’t been corrupted by the Abyss, which was quite rare.

Alka matched the golden light, which should be within the woodland.

He could also see signs of digging around and the soft soil of the small woodland.

Clearly, just as Jason and the others described, they had turned the area upside down yesterday, and aerating the entire forest was evidently a substantial undertaking.

Alka led the group inside.

They moved towards the possible area of the golden glow.

Looking at Chadite.

Chadite nodded, and silver ripples began to permeate the soil.

”The obstructions here are minimal, and the effect of the Abyssal aura is relatively weak.” Upon initial probing, Chadite concluded.

This was also why this place was at least better than other locations.

The silver ripples expanded into the depth.

Before long, Chadite opened his eyes and shook his head: ”Nothing, besides some scattered rocks, there’s nothing strange below.”

”See, I told you,” Jason said from the side.

”Odd...” Alka frowned, somewhat puzzled.

The main issue was the Treasure had no name, no Treasure information, practically a no-info Treasure.

They had no information regarding this Treasure.

Alka could only speculate based on the location of the golden glow and the Child difficulty, suggesting the Treasure should be buried shallowly, very easy to obtain, but now something seemed wrong, if they had some information about the Treasure, they might be able to speculate precisely where it was.
