Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The question is, where should the hatred demons be added in the World Scar? Naturally, it should be the demon hunters.

You’ve probably learned by now that among the demon hunters, there exist families with a legacy. It’s quite normal for their descendants to continue as demon hunters.

Because family members of these demon hunter families might also continue to die at the hands of demons, die in wars against demons.

Whether it’s for hatred, childhood education, or ideology, these descendants will still devote themselves to such careers.

Upon hearing this, Alka nodded, finding it indeed very reasonable.

”Have you obtained any information?”

Even though they’re in the midst of war, it doesn’t prevent Alka and the others from acquiring more information about the Treasure while the war proceeds.

The two things are not in conflict.

Hearing this, Lucilia smiled awkwardly.

”I was just about to find her when she was carried away. The battle was too intense at the time. I couldn’t possibly follow.”

Upon hearing this, Alka nodded, not insisting too much. Knowing there is such a demon hunter in the fortress is enough.

When things calm down, they could ask Grefar for help since the moon mark on the neck is very noticeable.

Upon hearing this, Pororo, who had been sitting nearby, said, ”Then she should have been sent to the medical ward... When Matilda wakes up, we can ask her. If there’s a moon mark on her neck, she might know something.”

Hearing this, everyone nodded.

Soon, Simon and Juanlu returned to the Round Tower one after another. Although it was late at night outside, a night without demon attacks was a good time to rest.

Everyone rarely gathered together.

These were the few still remaining in the Demon Hunting Fortress.

Apart from Julia, who had just returned, and Lucilia, who would occasionally leave the Demon Hunting Fortress for reconnaissance missions.

These two, like Chadite and Jason, belonged to the external personnel.

Before dawn, after a deep sleep, Matilda woke up.

The others had also rested for a considerable time.

Matilda came to the hall, listening to Pororo’s account.

Then she nodded, looking at Alka and the others, saying.

”That’s right, yesterday there was indeed a female demon hunter in the medical facility with a moon mark on her neck.

Her injuries weren’t too severe, but she still needs some time to recuperate. She’s still in the medical facility recuperating now. She certainly won’t be able to go to the battlefield in the short term.

I remember that after she felt a little better yesterday, she was helping out in the medical facility.”

Hearing this, Alka looked at her and said, ”In that case, could you help us ask her about some things related to the Moon Worship Sect, the ones we discussed before?

She might be the survivor we found in those ancient ruins or the descendant of a survivor.

We might learn some information from her.”

Hearing this, Matilda nodded, ”No problem, I’ll go to the medical facility when it gets light, and I’ll ask then.”

Although it wasn’t dawn yet, after everyone woke up, they didn’t head to the battlefield but seized the time to rest.

And conduct some Meditation meanwhile.

Every moment of rest is precious.

Especially at such rare times.

But before dawn, a dull horn sound came from outside.

”Those damn demons have come again.” Pororo said, bending over helplessly as he headed out the door.

The rest in the hall, hearing the dull horn, along with the Puppet Girls, quickly rushed out as well.

On the streets of the fortress outside, a large number of soldiers had already begun to mobilize.

Once outside, everyone went their separate ways, as they were in charge of different areas.

When Alka reached the second city wall, the demons had already started their siege.

A giant black boulder wrapped in flames traced a red line from afar, crashing toward the city wall.

Looking at the apocalyptic-like meteor scene in the sky.

The Fire Bullet and the brown Earth Card floated before Alka.

Controlling the two cards, Alka spread his hands as if resisting the sky.

The flaming, lava-like boulders coming down were immediately disintegrated mid-air, falling as debris. Though still scorching, the threat level was significantly lowered compared to their original form.

And launching such attacks were the massive one-eyed demons standing 1 kilometer away from the city wall.

Their size comparable to the Heavy Hammer Demons, yet differing with human-like body structures instead of the bizarre form of the Heavy Hammer Demons.

These humanoid catapult demons would grab a handful of sand and gravel from the ground and, through magma in their hands, form massive magma fire bullets, launching them as powerful siege weapons.

The number of such one-eyed demons wasn’t large, only three in total, standing 1 kilometer away, clearly wary of being taken down by the defenders.

This made the attacks from these three demons highly threatening, making it hard for Alka and the others to eliminate them for the time being.

A significant number of demons immediately scaled the first city wall.

”Those damn one-eyed monsters.” A general cursed, looking at the distant one-eyed demons.

Such entities are the hardest to deal with.

Yet charging down is like courting death.

Suddenly, a powerful beam shot out, piercing through the 1 kilometer range, penetrating the stomach of one one-eyed demon.

Upon impact, a ball of light exploded, enlarging the wound instantly.

Amidst the colossal wails, that demon collapsed.

The entire fortress erupted in cheers.

A melodic voice resounded, followed by invigorating music.

The returning Julia played the harp, while a music box floated beside her.

The spirited music, loud and far-reaching, yet not harsh.

Power and courage were bestowed upon everyone present.
