Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 160: Chapter 136 Treasure - Dream Catcher (10,000-Character Chapter)_6

As luck would have it, the difficulty increased. Normally, there wouldn’t be any difficulty; you’d just take the Treasure Chest and leave, hardly encountering any danger.

No wonder, despite the difficulty not being marked with a Spiral, we encountered such a powerful Evil Spirit.

Forget it, I don’t want to think about these things.

After surveying the surroundings, I’ve gathered some Treasure Information.

Alka took out the map once again.

This time, he clicked on the dim blue dot.

A blue treasure delivered right to his door, and it turned out to be a polluted Holy Artifact of unknown origin.

He looked at the information provided by the blue dot.

[Hand of Precision] (Obtained)

[Difficulty: Judgment Court Knight (Three Spirals)]

[Fame: 460 million]

[Treasure Information: A Holy Artifact from the Holy Machine Church, the Hand of Precision of the Grey-robed Sage - Foster Fort. It contains his wisdom and experience, granting the user the ability to create.

The Church apostate and Pagan Blood Drinker, Parox, took it from the Church, fled to the Exotic Realm, and polluted it with his scarlet power.]

[Treasure Obtained: Polluted Hand of Precision]

A Fame of 460 million certainly meant it was a Holy Artifact of some Divine. Alka wasn’t surprised that he hadn’t heard of this Church.

Information Alka had obtained from Lucilia and Julia already told him that the regions of the Homeland Sea were accessible; it was just that this type of information had been sealed off. The vast sea they lived in might only be a corner of this world. Outside, there was an even broader world, and much of the information Alka knew still supported this. Only this could explain all the questions.

Fortunately, judging by the Fame, it was probably a bit less than the Holy Mother’s.

However, this Church was surprisingly the Holy Machine Church—the same Church as the creator of the Treasure Box.

Upon realizing the connection, Alka’s heart skipped a couple of beats.

He couldn’t help but click on the golden dot again.

Sure enough, the Treasure Information had been updated.

[Treasure Information: A (Holy Grail) level Treasure (Dream Catcher) is protected within a Treasure Chest that isolates Magic Power, manufactured by the Holy Machine Church.

A treasure of Parox, it was stolen by one of his followers while he was preparing for a pollution ritual in the Exotic Realm.

The key to unlock the Treasure Chest needed to be constructed by the Holy Machine Church; using the Holy Artifact, the Hand of Precision, an identical key could be created to open the Treasure Chest. (Perfect)]

Alka’s heart began to race wildly, and he immediately put the map away.

”What’s wrong, Alka?”

Chadite, beside him, looked at Alka with concern in her eyes. She had keenly detected the sound of his wildly racing heartbeat. This made Chadite think Alka was in danger.

The icy chill from the Pocket Ring continuously flooded his mind, trying to calm him. Taking deep breaths, and with the chill flooding his mind, Alka forcefully suppressed his excitement.

There’s nothing more to say. The Treasure is almost in my possession now; I just need to do what’s necessary. But I mustn’t rush now; the more haste, the worse it gets.

I need to take back what I said before. I’m not unlucky; I could even be described as fortunate.

If the previous Treasure Hunting Team hadn’t stirred up the Evil Spirit here, it wouldn’t have come to trouble Alka and his group. That wouldn’t have triggered the subsequent series of events, which allowed Alka to directly meet the conditions for obtaining the Treasure. Otherwise, who knows how long it would have taken, or how many detours he would have faced, to meet the conditions.

After completely calming down, Alka looked at Chadite.

”When I ignited my arm, I received the Holy Mother’s revelation again, and this time, I understood one of the scenes in the revelation.”

Hearing Alka’s words and seeing the serious expression on his face, Chadite listened attentively.

Then, Alka tapped the Magic Mirror on his chest, and Lucilia emerged.

”What’s the matter?”

”You come out and listen to what I have to say. There’s something very important that requires your opinion.”

Once the Treasure is obtained, there’s absolutely no hiding it. That thing can’t be stored in the Pocket Ring; everyone will see it.

”The arm sculpture is called the Hand of Precision. It originates from a power known as the Holy Machine Church. Have either of you heard of it?”

Hearing Alka’s words, Chadite shook her head, and Lucilia did the same.

They haven’t heard of it... This means the Holy Machine Church might not exist in the region where Lucilia is from.

Alka had no choice but to continue, ”In the revelation, the arm can open that box we obtained earlier.”

”That box contains... a Treasure.”

When Alka said this, Chadite and Lucilia’s faces showed clear shock.

”This... this.” Chadite opened her mouth but didn’t know what to say.

”With a Treasure, we’ll have the capital to start our revenge. But the problem is Pororo... no, the main problem is Julia.”

Alka’s words caused a shift in their thoughts.

That’s right.

Pororo was alright. They had been traveling together for half a year and somewhat trusted him. Besides, it was unlikely Pororo would try to snatch the Treasure. Their strength had reached Two Spirals. Using the Sword of Love, Pororo would be no match for them.

”Julia... Julia, she...” Lucilia also didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t bring herself to say that Julia was trustworthy. No one could guarantee how someone would react to the temptation of a Treasure.

”No, actually, we don’t need to be afraid of Julia trying to snatch it.”

Lucilia seemed to recall something and said, ”What’s certain is that her strength has indeed been suppressed. It’s because of this sea region—most likely due to the Holy Mother.”

The power levels in this sea region are so low that even the Archbishop of the Holy Mother Church is only said to be at Four Spirals. And the Holy Mother is indeed a Divine. It’s very likely she is the one suppressing the power levels in this sea region. Of course, this was purely speculation; they had merely chosen what seemed to be the most plausible explanation.

Regardless, the previous battle had already shown that Julia’s strength was significantly suppressed. She was essentially a Two Spirals expert relying on experience to exert the power of Three Spirals.

”Even exerting the strength of Three Spirals, she still hasn’t surpassed the First Stage. Pororo will definitely help you; the Merman’s Bloodline Inheritance compels him to do so.”

Sang Kaka had entrusted the Bloodline Inheritance to Pororo, which benefited him, on the condition that he protect Alka and his group. For the past six months, Pororo had been doing just that, even risking conflict with Alka’s father, who possessed a Treasure. Now Alka and the others hadn’t left the sea area yet, and their safety had to be protected by him. Not to mention, the time they had spent together had already forged a friendship between them.

They had little suspicion of Pororo; it was merely a precaution. The three Two Spirals experts, along with the Holy Mother’s Sword, were sufficient to ensure their safety.

”Besides, you’ve forgotten the most important point: you’re the first one to get the Treasure.”

Hearing these last words, Alka was suddenly enlightened.

That’s right! I’m the first one to get the Treasure!
