From Arsenal to the Ball God

Chapter 785: Chapter 6: Shift in Public Opinion! Premier League’s Top Salary? Wembley Showdown with Chelsea! Beatles Songs at Wembley_2

Just like Arsenal, they reached world ranking third early and on this day, they infinitely closed the gap with the top two, officially entering the first-tier table!

They will no longer be excluded by the top two, but actually have the chance to upgrade their ranking at any moment and change the global football landscape!

A new era has begun, a new magnificent chapter and splendid feast of football has quietly commenced amidst rounds of arguments!

Perhaps many did not realize this day’s significance, but when looking back years later, they might regard it as an unusual day.

…

On August 8th, Arsenal’s major official websites and retail stores released the club’s new season version jerseys, including home, away, and third away kits, along with many small memorabilia items.

Fans quickly and passionately snapped up the first batch of products, while also pre-ordering their favorite star jerseys and surrounding products online.

This is their way of supporting the team, with many buying an official jersey every season and some peripherals.

Maybe one or two such individuals won’t bring much financial income to the club, but tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands are different.

After last season’s improvement in performance, Arsenal fans and visitors traveling in London are very appreciative of the team’s value and happy to spend for the team.

Don’t underestimate their spending power; clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United, which have excellent brand value, can sell around 3 million jerseys per season.

This equates to over 300 million pounds in revenue, with around 40 million pounds reached after shares, and counting the volume of small peripherals, getting 100 million pounds a season from this aspect is not difficult.

“290,000 pieces+! Arsenal’s sales on the first day were exceptionally brisk, setting a historic high! With Ma’el’s jerseys selling 130,000 pieces! Nearly half of the team!” — The Guardian

“Hopeful to sell 3 million jerseys in a single season? Since Ma’el joined, Arsenal’s various lines have continuously risen, and the shining growth of players has radiated to this club!” — French Football

“This collective growth is astonishing and also makes Ma’el even more enviable.” — Asi Bao

On August 9th, another heavy news hit, as Arsenal officially announced the release of two special edition Ma’el jerseys.

They are a 100-goal career commemorative jersey and a Double Crown + Record King season summary commemorative jersey, priced at 249 pounds and 349 pounds, higher than ordinary jerseys, and crafted more exquisitely.

The announcement ignited the fan circle, with many Arsenal fans rushing into shops to purchase, and even Ma’el fans who are not Arsenal supporters unprecedentedly sparked a buying spree.

At noon, his commemorative jerseys were still positioned as special editions in the corner of the club’s website and offline stores.

By evening, they were already placed in the most conspicuous spots, aiming to catch the eyes of fans entering the store to purchase, making selection easier.

Late at night, Little Krenke sat in the chairman’s office with Wenger, reviewing the data sent from various stores.

The former chairman Hillwood had already been dismissed, and Old Krenk took over as chairman but handed over the day-to-day operations of the team to Little Krenke, only showing up for key decisions.

Although Little Krenke has ambitions and experience accumulated in his family’s other sports industries, he still lacks understanding of Arsenal and European football culture, so he always calls on Wenger to handle matters together.

Wenger naturally accepted this willingly and devoted more thought and effort to the club… after all, it also represents greater power and influence.

“16,200 pieces offline, apparently not the limit of Ma’el’s influence, but the limit of supply speed and heat press machines.”

Little Krenke looked at the data table joyfully, in a great mood, “A total of 74,300 pieces online, including 43,200 in the European market, 13,100 in the North American market, 9,300 in South America, and 8,700 across Asia, Oceania, and Africa.”

Wenger did not reply to Little Krenke, only showing a shocking expression. They certainly cannot view all issues from the same angle.

The other party might be more satisfied and happy with the sales data, while he is more unbelievable about the buying frenzy wave Ma’el stirred as a player.

This heartfelt shock requires time to digest and is enough to provoke deep thinking… what height will this club reach under Ma’el’s influence?

Though they seem to already see the shadow of the summit, he feels that Ma’el might not be their end.

Even though successful clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester United and Messi and Ronaldo rest atop, an indistinct ladder to higher places appeared before them.

It’s a whole new path, one that no one has walked on!

“In just these 2 days, the sales Ma’el created amounted to 36.5 million pounds+, near half of his total jersey peripheral sales last season.”

Little Krenke observed Wenger’s expression and focused more on Ma’el, standing up and pacing while saying, “It seems as long as we focus on marketing him, he is sure to create more value.

“Grasping the opportunity brought by him is capturing the opportunity for the club’s future.”
