From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Yes, Messi has gone through several seasons of honing and consistent performance, and this season he’s bursting with data again. It’s so hard to keep up with him, but after today, the captain too has been at the top of the world!”

”Hahaha!”

Among the crowd, Gilbert appeared particularly excited, clapping his hands repeatedly and scanning the entrance for something.

Soon, he spotted the original price cards Jorson made for Ma’el, as well as the two price card gifts he gave Ma’el for his first Champions League appearance.

Thinking back, it feels like a long time ago... The highest price on those cards now pales in comparison to Ma’el’s current value.

Feeling sentimental, he also thought about creating new price cards for Ma’el.

He wants to make one for Ma’el’s rise from 30-45-70-105 to 135m as the world’s number one, to be placed in his good friend’s home, as a way to commemorate both of their journeys.

At the center of attention, Ma’el, despite his cheeks glowing with joy, spoke calmly, ”Why is it that none of you believe in me? My value has never decreased.

”The one who should feel the pressure isn’t me, but the Argentine star far away in Bar?a.

”If he doesn’t achieve a breakthrough with stronger results, the next update will likely see me alone at the top!

”Just watch, a nineteen-year-old will soon sit proudly at the top of the value rankings. Maybe I’ll be the first player in the football world to break the 200M Euro mark.”

”Haha!” The room once again erupted with noise, everyone laughing and teasing Ma’el.

These new teammates have witnessed an important moment with their captain, integrating into Arsenal’s core group.

”What about Arsenal’s total value?” Van Persie curiously asked, ”That’s also crucial to see if the Kroenke Family’s spending is paying off.”

”620 million Euros, up by 130M!” Thiago Silva placed his phone in front of everyone. ”I guess it’s because of new player additions and several France team internationals’ market value increasing.”

Van Persie’s face lit up briefly, but seeing the ranking made him shake his head slightly in disappointment, ”Still in third place, it’s really tough to surpass Real Madrid and Bar?a.”

”What’s the rush.” Ma’el, having seen the ranking, maintained a positive mindset, ”We’re only 25 million behind Bar?a, 61 million behind Real Madrid. With some effort, we have a chance to overtake them this season.”

”Exactly.”

Ramsey recalled the huge price surge for all players at the end of last season, ”If we perform well and there’s another wave of increases, surpassing Bar?a won’t be a problem.

”When we reach second place, everyone will surely be full of confidence and will push hard to challenge for first.

”As Ma’el said... the ones feeling the pressure will be them, not us with the advantage of a late surge.”

”No, no...” Giroud looked puzzled, nudging Ramsey, ”Once Bell joins, won’t our total value immediately exceed Bar?a and come close to Real Madrid?”

He had just sneaked a look at Bell’s Transfermarkt value, currently at 45 million Euros, ranked around 15th.

This made him silently lament the madness of the transfer market, even though everyone acknowledges Transfermarkt as the most official and fair platform. Some players seem to have a price with no market, while some are willing to be doubled up for.

He couldn’t help but wonder, after this update, would it become more challenging for other clubs to try and acquire Ma’el?

After all, with a Transfermarkt value of 135 million, it seems really hard to do anything without 200 million Euros in cash...

”That’s right!!”

Everyone was stunned, realizing this point, they clapped their hands and eagerly turned their eyes to Bell, ”Gareth, you don’t want us to always be overshadowed by Bar?a, do you?

”Surely you want to experience the climb, rather than sitting pretty at the top, right?”

Bell sat on the sofa, spreading his hands in confusion, not understanding why everyone suddenly targeted him.

But honestly, after spending the day here, he indeed felt like he was already considering himself an Arsenal player.

It seemed it wouldn’t make sense not to join this club.

At this moment, Ma’el took a comfortable breath, heading to the fridge to grab a drink, turning around with a quiet chuckle.

135m, that’s the value he deserved after the European Cup, but it’s just the beginning of the new season... He hopes to formally usher in the era of a footballer’s Transfermarkt value at 200M Euro.
