From Arsenal to the Ball God

”This endorsement sponsor is quite something.” Gilbert said in surprise, sighing, ”Not only did they obtain the endorsement of Sheffield United’s star player from last season, but also the team’s authorization.”

”Indeed.”

Ma’el felt the same way, amazed at Isabella’s tremendous capability, which seemed quite extraordinary for her age.

He just wondered if the promised red envelope to him would come through.

......

Back home, Ma’el calmed down and took out his notebook to start planning his future training.

After his speed ability surged, he gained an incredibly strong skill, worthy of being counted as his first Level 5 skill!

Next, he needed to choose other skills to focus on.

”Power and Coordination.”

He didn’t forget his previous plan and included these two skills in his training regimen, which were not only comprehensive improvements to his overall attributes but also crucial abilities to reduce his injury risks.

He didn’t want to be a fragile player... after surpassing Adama Traore’s speed, he also wanted to achieve Adama Traore’s physicality and Ibrahimovic’s flexibility!

”Reverse Foot.”

This was the second skill he noted, as he had just recently advanced it to Level 3. He knew clearly that Level 4 would enhance the precision of the reverse foot.

If he could train this skill to Level 4, it’s likely the gap between his left and right foot would be minimal.

Next season, the ratio of goals to assists could reach a healthier 1:2 or even 1:1.5!

It’s not about compensating with right-footed stats but rather improving left-foot efficiency to match the right foot!

”No rush during the offseason; I can train well.”

Ma’el motivated himself, eager to post impressive stats when he enters the Premier League, rather than gradually climbing up.

Next, he started contemplating his current weaknesses.

Shooting and Passing skills were certainly not lacking; he had two Level 4 skills in these areas!

It’s safe to say that once he trained Reverse Foot, he’d stand out among Premier League stars!

The only lacking aspect might be in dribbling and stopping the ball.

His two dribbling skills were only at Level 3, and he lacked any stopping the ball skill, with nearly no ability in first touch or ball handling.

In the Championship, most of his lost possession occurred because he couldn’t stop the ball well, allowing defenders to step in and intercept directly.

Premier League defenders certainly possess higher skill levels, and they won’t give him any leisurely time to stop the ball at his feet.

”This skill is a must-have.”

Ma’el made up his mind, planning to pull Gilbert to practice first touch and various ball-stopping skills once he returned to London, to see what kind of skill could develop.

”And then there’s the dribbling.”

He focused on his last weak point, knowing dribbling is crucial for a winger. Without dribbling ability, it’s impossible for a winger to perform outstandingly.

His Level 3 Bicycle Kick, Level 3 other footwork could fool Championship defenders, in combination with speed and power resulting in decent passing stats.

Heading into the Premier League, facing those more experienced and stronger defenders, it might prove to be very challenging.

Of course, right now, in spacious situations, he could directly surge through to solve problems.

But... with such strong Skill Level, if he didn’t train some nimble breakthrough skills to play with grace and finesse, wouldn’t it be a waste?

Various swift maneuvers, skipping past several players, and executing fancy techniques should be acquired early.

It’s not just about playing stylishly, but also about achieving stronger performance and creating more opportunities.

”I’ll think about this at the training ground.”

Ma’el decided not to make a decision now, only marking dribbling practice as a top priority, then closed his notebook.
