From Arsenal to the Ball God

March 25th, the team’s rest period.

Kevin Strom sent an invitation to sign, and Ma’el, after reviewing it, forwarded it to Mendes for confirmation.

Upon receiving the ’no problem’ response from the latter, he formally signed the investment contract with these two Silicon Valley elites, acquiring a 10% stake in ins.

He was quite clear about the future heights and market value this company would achieve.

So, at the moment of signing the contract, it was as if he already saw millions of US Dollars waving at him from the future.

The next step was to wait!

Wait for this company to gradually become a globally popular social software, wait for a large sum of green bills to fly into his bank account.

”I’ll draw traffic through other social media.”

After signing the contract, Ma’el explained his idea to the two, ”Currently, my Facebook followers are around over 800,000, and my Twitter account, which I registered not long ago, has over 200,000 followers.”

”I’ll find a way to attract them to ins as much as possible. Trust me.”

Kevin Strom nodded, concerned that Ma’el might not understand some parts of the contract, emphasized: ”Apart from that, you have no decision-making power in the company and will not participate in any meetings, do you agree with that?”

”Of course.”

Ma’el laughed, even wishing not to be bothered, ”Even if you invite me, I wouldn’t go; professional matters should be handled by professionals. I have my own business.”

”Great, let’s work hard together.”

”Good luck!”

The three parted ways in Sheffield City, and Ma’el refocused his time and energy on his extra training, spending every day on the field.

Taking advantage of this more than ten-day rest period, he finally felt the serenity in training again, briefly free from the pressure of competition, living with a consistent aim for improvement, with rapid progress.

By April 4th, the day before the intense schedule commenced, all his attributes had improved to varying degrees.

[Skill: Burst lv3]

[Skill Level: (1368/2000)]

[Skill: Weak Side Foot lv2]

[Skill Level: (683/800)]

[Skill: Physical Ability lv2]

[Skill Level: (561/800)]

”Training two items alone, it’s fast.”

Ma’el smiled and sighed, planning the time and the training schedule for the end of the season.

This month, his reverse foot could break through from lv2 to lv3, and with a bit more effort, his speed ability was close to breakthrough as well, and it would definitely rise in May.

At that time, he would have the first lv4 physical ability, which could also be considered as a first lv5 level ability!

After that, he needed to start the upgrade training of the long shot ability from lv4 to lv5, and also work on increasing power and coordination.

Before going to Arsenal, practice some superior techniques, making himself more composed when facing Premier League defenders, achieving, or even surpassing, the breakthrough effect of Adama Traore.

Now, focus all eyes on the last 8 rounds of the league, let’s start sprinting!

......

April 5th, Sheffield United went away to challenge the mid-upper team Watford.

This is a team strong in offense but weak in defense, with Graham’s and Hulahan’s presence giving them a superior offensive capability.

But problems with the unstable defense have kept them from reaching higher positions this season.

”The match starts! Both teams boast strong tactical styles, and the pace is quick from the get-go. They’re both eager to breach each other’s defenses early!

”After about two weeks of rest, the players’ physical condition is excellent, let’s hope they can provide an exciting match for the fans!”

”.....”

”Oh....!! It’s Janu Hans’s long shot goal!! One-nil, Sheffield United takes the lead! Gilbert took advantage of the breakthrough to draw Watford’s defense, and Janu Hans seized the opportunity in open space!

”During the celebration, it seems Quinn got into a dispute with a Watford player and received a yellow card.”

”.....”

”Minute 10 of the match!! The ball is in! Graham scores with a header, helping Watford equalize!!

”He must have been holding in quite a bit of anger, having sat atop the scorer’s list for so long, but surpassed by Ma’el in the second half of the season and left behind!”

”.....”

”Quinn! The referee issues a card! Second yellow card, Quinn is off! And he gives away a penalty to the opponent! Sheffield is in dire straits!

”Hulahan takes the penalty! No problem! Two-one, they turn the score!!”

”.....”

”Jenkins has entered the penalty area! Shoots! Deflected off a defender... and still scored! Three-one!!”

”.....”

”The opportunity to counterattack, Ma’el charges towards Watford’s rear, with severely insufficient defense numbers, it’s only him and Gilbert advancing, facing four defenders!

”Watford plans to play the offside trap! Ma’el spots this intention, he pauses, then delivers a through ball!!

”No offside, Gilbert is one-on-one with the goalie! Bypasses the goalkeeper, two-three!!”

”.....”

The match concluded this way, and Sheffield United couldn’t secure a good start in the 7-round schedule of April.

With pressure mounting daily, a tense atmosphere slowly pervaded the entire team.

Both of their direct competitors didn’t lose this round—Norwich secured a two-nil victory over Leeds United away, Queens Park Rangers were held to a draw by Hull City at home.

”First: Queens Park Rangers, 89 points. Second: Norwich, 88 points. Third: Sheffield United, 84 points.”—Championship standings

......

April 9th, Championship Round 40.

Sheffield United faced their second away match of the month, heading to face Reading at their home ground.

This was a game with some pressure, as Reading ranked fourth on the standings and was the team most likely to challenge the top three.
