From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Having a good striker is really crucial for a team!”

”.....”

”Bolodanovich! He seized the opportunity in the corner kick scramble and poked the ball into the net! Two-nil!!

”Let’s look again, after Ma’el’s corner kick, Cardiff City’s penalty area got a bit chaotic, Neller’s clearance wasn’t far enough, giving Janu a chance for an aerial strike!

”Quinn blocked the ball with his body, and the football fell at Bolodanovich’s feet. Bolodanovich seized the opportunity to widen the score!”

”.....”

”Janu! Knocked down by Quinn while carrying the ball, yet another free kick, but it’s a long distance!

”Ma’el is standing over the ball, choosing a long run-up. Looks like he’s going for a long shot!

”Bramall Lane Stadium fell into silence; everyone held their breath, waiting for Ma’el’s shot. They hoped this magic boy could bring more surprises to the team.

”The run-up... the shot!! The ball’s speed is fast... Steven dives out, he jumped a bit late, the ball’s in first!!

”Three-nil!! Ma’el scores the second free-kick of the game, the fourth this season!

”Unbelievable, given that both teams had similar ball control and chances in this round, the score gap ended up being so huge!”

”.....”

”Now it’s Cardiff City’s turn! Forward Bellamy seizes on a lapse in Sheffield United’s defense, breaking through for a goal!!

”Three-one! Cardiff City still has a glimmer of hope!!”

”.....”

”A crossing! Front post position, Bertrand sticks out his foot! The ball’s in! It’s an own goal!!

”Three-two! Cardiff City sees strong hope beckoning to them! Bertrand kicked it with the outside of his foot during the clearance, how unlucky, all of Sheffield United is tense once again.”

”.....”

”The last wave of attack, Ma’el, who was just substituted, stands on the sideline. They should already know, the top battle on the other side of the standings between Queens Park Rangers and Norwich ended in a 1-1 draw!

”This is a favorable score for them, as long as they take Cardiff City, they’ll move into the promotion zone!”

”.....”

”The referee blows the whistle! The game is over!! Sheffield United narrowly and thrillingly defeated Cardiff City at home, securing precious 3 points on the road to promotion! Whew....! Not easy!

”With that, they have surpassed Norwich, temporarily climbing to second place in the standings!”

At Bramall Lane Stadium, with the whistle ending the score, the whole place erupted into celebration.

”Oh....!!”

”Yeah.....!!” Home fans in red and white stood up and raised their hands, roaring and cheering for this victory, emotions at their peak.

Ma’el spread his arms and rushed into the wind towards his friend Gilbert, feeling the breeze brush against his face and fingers, listening to the fans’ cheers, he found everything on the pitch so wonderful.

Seeing him, Gilbert, who was sitting on the ground, stumbled to his feet, making a gesture of an embrace.

”We won! We won!”

Ma’el jumped high into his arms, almost knocking him over.

The two hugged tightly, then ran together towards the fan zone, enjoying this moment of passionate celebration with the fans.

”First: Queens Park Rangers, 93 points. Second: Sheffield United, 90 points, Third: Norwich, 89 points.” — Championship Standings
