From Arsenal to the Ball God

They will occupy nearby bars at the time and watch the match in the fan plaza they have arranged.

”Deng deng deng!”

”Bang bang bang...!!”

At five o’clock, the surroundings of Loftus Road Stadium have already seen many Sheffield United fans appearing, gradually gathering together, beating drums, and singing the team’s anthem.

From this moment, the atmosphere of the match started to become tense and intense. Everyone knew that the moment to decide their fate this season was about to come!

At six thirty, a bus marked with Sheffield United logo drove in on the controlled road, with the players and coaches coming from the hotel.

”Oh oh.....!” This caused a commotion, with tens of thousands of Sheffield United fans gathering by the railings, waving their hands to greet them, letting them know they are here with them.

On the bus, the atmosphere was silent, most people wore headphones for final relaxation.

Ma’el sat in his old spot in the back row, taking deep breaths to adjust his heart rate. After hearing the shouts, he opened the curtain a bit to peek at the fans outside, feeling a sense of comfort.

The first championship match of his career was really coming... He never thought his first championship match would be a league match rather than a cup match.

The league carries great weight, representing the effort of the entire season, fighting across a year in as many as 46 matches!

He didn’t want these 46 matches to leave like autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, there ought to be some memento left!

He already has enough personal memories, now let’s see if he can leave some important memories for the team.

Team honors aren’t weaker in weight compared to personal honors. In some awards, major events like Champions League and World Cup have significant weight.

Come on!

Put all into one battle!!

He cheered himself up inside, hoping to walk out of London with a smile today.

......

At seven twenty-five, Ma’el holds a mascot’s hand in the player tunnel at Loftus Road Stadium, performing the entrance ceremony.

The player tunnel appeared very quiet, except for the cheers coming from outside, rarely hearing players or staff speaking.

Everyone’s mood is the same, excited yet heavy, tense yet expectant, no one has any other thoughts in their minds.

”Let’s go!”

With a signal from the referee, all players followed the referee’s steps out of the player tunnel.

Ma’el passed through a blue-toned tunnel and entered Loftus Road Stadium. It’s a small stadium with only one viewing stand but overall neat and clean, very refreshing.

Here, they will determine the Champion of the Championship for the 10-11 season!

After some simple pre-match ceremonies, an old man carried out the Champion of the Championship trophy from the player tunnel and placed it on a tall platform already set up at the tunnel entrance.

”Oh.....!!”

Fans from both teams started cheering, their eyes filled with eagerness to see their teams hoist the final trophy!

While waiting for the match to start, the Queens Park players mostly gave curious looks to Ma’el and Gilbert, two unfamiliar faces who were absent in the first half of the season.

In that match, they beat this team four to zero, comfortably marking the season’s start.

Wonder in this round... whether Sheffield United with Ma’el, Gilbert, and numerous new signings would become difficult to handle.

They also cheered themselves on, hoping for a good result.

”Whistle!!”

At seven thirty, as the referee’s whistle sounded, the final showdown of the Championship finally unfolded here, the atmosphere within the venue immediately heated up.

Ma’el sprinted across the midfield with lightning speed, pressing quickly while warming up his body.

”The match has begun! This is a battle concerning the fate of both teams, the Championship League’s most heated focus battle this season!”

From the commentary booth, Sky Sports’ commentator voices with passion: ”Two teams with scores over a hundred points have started intense competition! Only one team can crown the champion honor today. Let’s see who laughs last!

”Let’s look at the starting lineup for both sides, Sheffield United with goalkeeper Robert, defense line.....”

In the match stand position, the visiting team’s VIP area, Ma’el’s family sat here.

To their left were Wenger, Hans, and a middle-aged man dressed in a suit. To the right was a beautiful British girl and two physiotherapists serving their nephew.

”Olay....! Olay olay olay.....!” Below them, over three thousand Sheffield United fans stood watching the match, constantly jumping to enhance their presence and warm the stadium atmosphere.

And behind the stadium fence, many Sheffield United fans either hung on the fence or peered through narrow door gaps to observe the inside situation.

People were everywhere!

There are also tens of thousands watching this match in front of their TVs, anticipating the final championship outcome!

”Go, brother!” Eva stood up, clenching her fists to cheer for her brother.

Compared to other places, the people here appeared restrained with no large-scale cheer activities happening.

”Ma’el’s sister?”

Beside them, Wenger saw Eva’s appearance, smiled, and waved her over.

Eva did not shy away, confidently walked over next to Wenger, ”Are you the coach of Arsenal?”

”Haha.....”

Wenger laughed lightly, stood up, and lifted Eva, facing the direction of the field, ”Do you think your brother will score today?”

”He sure will!”

Confidence gleamed in Eva’s eyes as she waved her arms and said, ”He always scores!”

”Hope your words come true.”

After holding Eva for a while, Wenger placed her on the ground, sat back, and concentrated on the field.

On the other side, Isabella saw this scene, waved to Eva, and took out some candies from her bag, handing them to Eva, ”Here, child, candies bought by sister in France.”

This behavior quickly won Eva over. She took the candies, peeling them while praising, ”Beautiful sister.”

Isabella’s thin lips parted, revealing her teeth as she chuckled and held Eva on her lap, preparing to watch the match holding her.

Soon, seeing Ma’el’s first touch, she stood up from her seat, gazing towards the bottom scene.

The rest of the ten people around her also stood up gradually, even Wenger disregarded identity, casting hopeful glance towards the field’s left side.
