From Arsenal to the Ball God

On May 10, the team officially began their holiday.

Most players and coaching staff left Sheffield City, starting their wonderful summer break.

Taking advantage of the rare rest, Ma’el and Gilbert stayed in the small house on Cherry Street, packing their things and preparing to move to London.

”Is it necessary?”

Gilbert watched as Ma’el bought dozens of boxes, wrapping up all the trophies and even covering them with foam, and said sourly, ”The materials are tough, they won’t break if dropped.”

Ma’el didn’t look up at him, carefully wrapping up the last Golden Boot Award and placing it into the box, ”Absolutely necessary.”

Counting up, last season he won a season’s best, a half-season’s best, the Golden Boot Award, Assist King, five monthly bests, nineteen man-of-the-match awards, two balls for hat tricks, and one ball from the Boxing Day battle.

He truly harvested a lot!

”Personally, I think sometimes these judges aren’t fair in awarding prizes.”

Ma’el pushed the box to the corner and saw Gilbert turning his head with curiosity, complaining a bit: ”Doesn’t it seem like when a player wins too many awards, they give some out compensatory to other players?”

”Logically, I should have at least six or seven Championship monthly bests, and twenty-five man-of-the-match awards.”

Gilbert: ”...”

He was really fed up.

This season, he didn’t get any monthly bests, though he got two single match bests, but even that was overshadowed by Ma’el.

”Alright.”

Ma’el chuckled, stopped teasing him, ”I’m going to study for the theory test, heading to the driving test tomorrow.”

This matter has been delayed for too long; with the season ended, his pocket is full again, and the desire to buy a sports car is growing stronger.

After investing 1.66 million Pounds into Kevin Strom’s Instagram in March, his remaining balance was around 140,000 Pounds.

From then until now, his net salary should be 240,000 Pounds, the net promotion bonus from the team was 660,000 Pounds, and besides, some appearance and goal bonuses added to around 50,000 Pounds.

It can be said that after a substantial financial decline in March, he quickly returned to the millionaire club.

This money won’t allow him to buy a luxury villa in London, but renting one and buying a sports car is certainly manageable!

Get the driving license in two days!

After returning to London, he would head straight to the local Ferrari dealership to grab the season’s hottest F430, then drive around for practice.

This model, priced in the tens of thousands of Pounds, with the top configuration slightly over 200,000 Pounds, is undoubtedly the most suitable for his age, identity, value, and pace of wealth growth now.

Rolls-Royce and the like aren’t suitable for his age, and Bugatti is somewhat too expensive; he’ll have to become wealthier to consider that.

......

On May 12, the noon after Ma’el finished his final road test, he went to check the results somewhat nervously.

”Wonderful!”

Upon receiving a positive reply, he excitedly clenched his fist and asked, ”When can I receive the driving license?”

”Within a week.”

The staff recognized Ma’el and smiled, ”We will mail it to your home, please keep an eye out.”

”Okay.” Ma’el wasn’t in a rush, he had already spoken to Wenger about staying in Sheffield post-test and joining team practice, resting for about ten days.

Consider it a few days of holiday, and also to practice the skills on his skill level panel, boost his speed to Level 4, to fully develop the qualities of a fast winger!

After returning home, he called Mendes, asking him to find a house in London.

”Needs at least two floors, plenty of rooms, a gym would be great.”

He clearly outlined his needs and explained, ”I will need to live with two therapists, preferably them being on the ground floor, completing therapy massages and nutrition meals preparation there.

”I’ll live on the second floor, ensuring certain privacy and quality of life.”

”Alright.” Mendes spoke with a hint of teasing, ”Ready to date a girlfriend? You mentioned privacy and quality of life, you’ve got plans.”

”No.”

Ma’el shook his head slightly, didn’t continue the topic, and laughed as he changed the subject, ”Try to find something bigger, rent isn’t an issue.

”Just avoid London’s most expensive buildings, I can afford the rest and I’m willing to pay.”

It’s not that he’s extravagant or overextending himself; rather, as team members increase, therapy needs to be more professional, requiring early preparation for setting up various therapy rooms.

The rigid space requirement is best dealt with at once, other equipment can be purchased gradually.

”Got it, when’s the move?”

”The sooner the better, I only have a ten-day break; if the rental isn’t sorted, I’ll have to stay in a hotel.”

”Alright, within three days I’ll send suitable options your way, you can choose then.”

After hanging up, Ma’el returned to his room and took out his phone to open social media apps.

After Sheffield United’s victory, as numerous significant honors fell upon him, his social media followers experienced a surge during this period.

His Facebook followers exceeded 1.5 million+, growing by 15,000+ daily, trending towards 2 million, while Twitter followers also surged, nearly reaching 1.5 million+.

These past few days have been so busy, he hasn’t had time to manage these accounts, not even posting once.

”Oh right, Instagram.”

Seeing everyone’s comments urging for updates, Ma’el suddenly realized this is an opportunity...a great chance to direct traffic to Instagram.
