From Arsenal to the Ball God

He’s been working on this recently, and the results are pretty good.

According to the data from Kevin Strom’s side, among the newly grown users, 260,000 are specifically coming for him.

This is already a considerable amount, which is very important for a startup social software!

But... if Ma’el were to post a message on Facebook and Twitter now, saying he would be putting up some internal footage of his championship victory and player perspective for the parade activities on Instagram.

Taking advantage of this huge wave of popularity, it’s bound to have unexpected effects!

He immediately did it, simply edited the videos in the album, posted them on Instagram, and then opened Facebook and Twitter to upload the ad messages.

This company is somewhat his company too, with a 10% holding that is absolutely considered a major shareholder in internet companies.

If they plan to raise more funds in the future, and if Ma’el has spare money, he could invest some more.

No need to expand the shares too much, just hope that through round after round of funding, the shares won’t get diluted too much.

Having two-digit shares would mean that when Instagram gets acquired by Facebook, he could earn over a hundred million US Dollars!

After dealing with this, he basically had nothing else, everything was progressing orderly, he just needed to patiently await the results.

Next, train well and rapidly get his Speed to Level 4!

......

May 15, in the gym.

Ma’el completed over ten sets of leg muscle contraction training, observing through the mirror on the wall, he noticed his hips had slightly lifted during this period, and his physique became more sexually appealing.

Of course, sexual appeal to girls, not boys.

Although it’s a weird way to describe it, he understood these are the physical features slowly growing from Sprinting Burst!

Look at those fast-running stars and athletes; a small lifted hip is basically standard equipment.

Is it hip lift?

No, it’s become stronger!

That night, Ma’el trained until past eight o’clock, his legs felt as heavy as lead, and sometimes a slight weakness would make him collapse on the ground.

But he persisted, gritting his teeth and undergoing another new set of training.

His Speed was at the verge of breaking through; he could feel a distinctly different sensation bursting within him, seemingly reaching the edge of human limit performance, initially touching the boundary.

Finally, as the clock struck past nine, his legs and hips simultaneously cramped in multiple spots, an excruciating pain pierced through him.

”Hiss...!” He collapsed on the ground, stretching his legs straight, unable to refrain from sucking in cold air, this feeling of muscle tearing was really tough to endure.

Luckily it’s the gym located at the base of their apartment building, and he’s the only one here, otherwise, it’d be quite embarrassing.

[Skill: Rapid Charge Level 4]

[Skill Level: (1/5000)]

[Utility: Your muscle reaction speed and contraction speed have approached human limit levels, your running stance and various techniques have basically reached optimal standards, one step away from the strongest human levels!]

Rapid Charge!

Level 4!

Seeing the panel emerging instantly, even while resisting the aching pain from the leg cramps, the strongest excitement and satisfaction since having the Skill Level panel surged inside him.

The world before him seemed to take on a new aspect, the sweat and rust smell of the gym ceased to exist, everything became refreshing, and all inhaled into his nose was fresh air, exhaling all the stale air within!

Body Level 4 capability!

This definitely rivals Skills at Level 5 capabilities, maybe even more effective than some Skills at Level 5!

Once the pain faded away, Ma’el supported himself to stand, took a deep breath, walked a few steps, and lifted his legs high for two more steps.

Every movement became lighter, as if terrifying energy was embedded in his muscles, piercing through his skin ready to release, his body urging him to Sprint Rapid Charge!

”Tomorrow, find a place to test it.”

Ma’el didn’t rush, his body had reached its limits, better to go home and let Harry do a treatment massage quickly.

After the last upgrade, his hundred-meter Speed was around 11 seconds, he’s eagerly anticipating this time’s upgrade peak Speed.

......

Late night, San Francisco.

In an office building, Kevin Strom and Mike hurriedly arrived with a team, turning on the servers and control stations to check recent data.

They just returned from the Manhattan District in New York City, having finalized the financing plan for another 15% of shares with the venture capital firm; now it’s just waiting for signing and payment.

This financing round is taken quite seriously, with all key company members dispatched.

”Yes.”

Kevin Strom was still on the phone with the people over there, smiling: ”We don’t need to recruit too many people, this core group is enough, this is my entrepreneurial philosophy.

”Certainly... Thank you very much for your trust, this cooperation will surely be a win-win collaboration.”

He wore a courteous smile, inadvertently turning to glance at Mike, already seated at the computer, noticing a distinct dazed demeanor on his face, stretching his neck toward the computer, muttering something.

He hung up the phone, walked over to Mike’s side, ”What’s wrong?”

Mike didn’t respond; Kevin Strom supported the chair’s backrest with both hands, leaned over to look at the computer screen in front of him, saw the new user column for the European Region this week.

The music was playing in the office, and he was originally nodding along, but now suddenly froze in place, breathing rapidly.

[+594,400!]

[10th +31,500, 11th +21,900, 12th +84,100, 13th +165,100, 14th +143,900, 15th +112,500!]

The two exchanged glances at this moment, both with eyes wide in disbelief, seeing in each other’s face a very vivid sensation.

What happened?!

”What’s the situation?”

”Is there a problem?”

Noticing this, the other colleagues gathered, thinking there might be an issue, readying themselves for potential overtime to fix the program.

”No.”

Kevin Strom turned and explained with a very vibrant smile: ”The traffic suddenly surged; over the past week, the European Region has grown nearly 600,000 new users.”

”Really?”

”Oh God...!”

Everyone was surprised, their expressions changing wonderfully; they promptly returned to their workstations under Mike’s instructions, beginning data analysis.

But... upon noticing ’Ma’el’s’ account, they suddenly realized all the analysis seemed unnecessary.

The followers of this account had surpassed the 700,000 mark, the latest published works receiving over 300,000 likes; it almost single-handedly consumed the traffic from the 12th to the 15th!

”Him?”

Mike noticed, feeling terrified, fearing he might be mistaken, constantly blinking, ”Did he bring over his Facebook and Twitter followers?”

He didn’t stop, searching online for Ma’el’s recent happenings.

Everyone gathered around, seeing the phenomenon of Sheffield United’s victory, Ma’el sweeping three major awards, being praised by a cluster of media.

Also seeing that Ma’el posted on Facebook and Twitter, saying he would publish championship record footage on Instagram, these messages circulated by various media, heating up the buzz.

”So that’s it!”

”Haha...!”

They quickly processed these reasons behind the surge in traffic, leaned back in their chairs, laughing heartily, applauding from time to time.

This feeling of being hit by surprise is rare among the rational and meticulous Silicon Valley guys.

”Thank Ma’el.”

Kevin Strom was completely convinced, looking back now, how correct the decision made back then was, ”And thank Mike, if it weren’t for your constant recommendation back then, I wouldn’t have sought him out.”

”Glad there’s an effect.”

Mike beamed with joy, knocking on the table a few times, couldn’t resist standing up and high-fiving with the company members to express their happiness.

After celebrating for a while, everyone still felt something was off but couldn’t figure it out.

Kevin Strom reacted first, his face changing again with a smile: ”With this, the number of registered users in the European Region breaks a million, their activeness will drive more registrations positively.

The company’s value has increased! We cannot finance at the original price anymore; we need to raise it!”

”Yes!” Everyone slapped the table in agreement, the contract has not been signed yet, they weren’t against making more money.

Kevin Strom dialed the phone of the investment institution again, maintaining a pleasant tone yet sounding more assertive: ”Apologies, the user registration and activeness data we provided earlier were from the past.

Now, we need to renegotiate the financing price.”
