Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1376: Chapter 1376: Are You and Janelle Dating?

As father and son were talking, Janelle Mills followed Trevor in, and Butler Warren in the hall saw them, quickly stopped his work, and greeted them with a smile, ”Hello young master, hello Miss Mills!”

Her voice rose, and the people inside the room heard it.

”Hello.” Janelle Mills also smiled warmly, with great politeness.

Upon hearing the voice, Ethan Dalton quickly ran out, his eyes shining, ”Brother! Janelle sister! You finally came!”

His emotions were quite normal, and his face was full of happiness and joy; his recovery was going very well.

Both greeted him with smiles, and he directly ran over to hold Janelle Mills’ hand, ”Janelle sister, come play games with me! I learned a few more idioms yesterday!”

”Sure.”

Just as the girl agreed to him, David Dalton also came out.

”Dad.”

The girl lifted her eyes, ”Hello, Uncle Dalton.”

Seeing Janelle, his mood naturally improved a lot, feeling that this girl standing with his son looked perfectly matched and increasingly suitable for each other.

”Hello, Janelle.” David Dalton smiled kindly, and he particularly liked her.

”Janelle sister, come with me!” Ethan Dalton pulled her and walked toward the inner room.

As Janelle Mills walked, she glanced back at Trevor, who slightly raised the corners of his mouth, indicating that she could go in.

David Dalton and Trevor both felt comforted, because Ethan rarely seemed this happy; since meeting Janelle Mills, the little guy’s entire demeanor had changed.

At least he lived with hope.

In the inner room, they were playing an idiom relay game, with Janelle patiently teaching him, as Ethan Dalton’s pronunciation was not quite accurate.

Meanwhile, in the hall outside, Butler Warren brewed a pot of Pu’er tea, where father and son sat down to chat about work matters.

An atmosphere of joy and warmth filled the space.

After about an hour, when the work conversation was almost finished, the son’s report made David Dalton very satisfied, and soon it would be New Year.

This year, under the son’s management, the company’s various businesses flourished, and profits drastically increased.

”Trevor,” the father called his son softly, then glanced towards the direction of the room, lowered his voice, and asked, ”Are you dating Janelle?”

This question... how to answer it?

Trevor thought for a moment, organizing his words, but as a father, David Dalton could see through it.

He told his son, ”If you like her, cherish it well. Although Nathan Mills’ daughter grew up in Korland, her nature is still very good. I had already found out before arranging for you two to meet.”

Trevor said nothing, his expression always gentle, ”Dad, in matters of feelings, I only rely on my own sense, not particularly concerned with the results of your inquiries.”

”Hmm, by the way, about that ancient town project, you should personally inspect it when you have time.”

David Dalton shifted the topic back to work, ”Take Janelle with you.”

”From a girl’s perspective, she might have some unique thoughts, and at that time, maybe they can be integrated into the project to make it even better.” What he spoke of as a project, was really just hoping to give them some alone time.

Trevor understood the dual meaning behind his father’s words as he met his gaze.

Seeing that his son understood, David Dalton didn’t say anything more, just smiled, and enjoyed his tea in a good mood.

”Now that Ethan’s condition is improving, my greatest wish as a father is for your wedding.”

Trevor picked up his teacup and also smiled.

At noon, Trevor and Janelle took Ethan out for lunch.

David Dalton had to leave first due to some matters.

After the meal, the older brother and sister each held Ethan’s hand as they walked down the plane tree-lined road; sunlight filtered through, creating a warm scene.

”Today’s weather is nice; it’s quite relaxing to stroll after a meal.” Janelle Mills turned her eyes and asked Trevor, ”Are you in a hurry to go to the company? If you’re busy, you can leave first; I’ll take Ethan back to the hospital.”

”I’m not in a hurry.” As Trevor’s voice fell, his phone rang. Seeing it was Simon calling, he rejected it directly and then put his phone on silent mode.
