Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1357: Chapter 1357: Trevor’s Focus Is on Janelle

The Dalton Group, a row of towering buildings stood under the sun, magnificent and grand.

It also carried the dreams of countless young people.

Under Trevor’s leadership, everything in the company was operating as usual.

A limited edition Maybach parked downstairs, the tall Trevor had just walked into the CEO’s office when Simon hurriedly stood up, took out a thick file from the drawer, and brought it to his desk.

Trevor sat down in the office chair, elegantly crossed his legs, and reached out to accept the file Simon handed over, first glancing through quickly.

Simon stood by, reporting in a low voice, ”Regarding the cooperation for the Shui Yun Bay project, not only did they not complete it within the time stipulated in the contract, delaying by two months, but there also were significant quality issues.”

Listening to his assistant’s report and looking at the detailed problems pointed out in the file, Trevor’s handsome face turned cold, and the atmosphere around him became somewhat chilly.

”But Mr. Li said it’s not his problem, his supervision was adequate, it was the construction party’s issue.” Simon reported nervously, ”Mr. Li has scheduled dinner with you tonight, saying he will give you a reasonable explanation and discuss subsequent solutions.”

Trevor listened, continuing to flip through the detailed contents in the file, his handsome face now dark enough to drip water!

So many problems! And they say supervision was adequate? How thick-skinned can they be?

”But...”

Simon could feel a chill, his heart tensed, ”But no matter how reasonable the explanation, the quality remains problematic, requiring rework, not to mention excessive financial investment, there’s simply not enough time, and there’s also a breach of contract penalty involved.”

Trevor looked at the file, silent, unclear if he was listening to Simon talk.

At a nearby desk, Cecilia Dunn was organizing data on her computer.

Even though this matter was unrelated to her and didn’t require her involvement, the super low pressure in the office made her not dare to breathe heavily, even unable to lift her head.

She could sense the seriousness of the matter.

Simon stood aside with his head slightly bowed, since Mr. Trevino didn’t speak, he dared not make a sound.

Trevor’s brow furrowed deeply, anxiety seemingly between his brows, yet his expression remained icy.

He swiftly skimmed through the document again, then turned back to the first page and slowed down to read it carefully once more.

Until five minutes had passed...

Simon watched as the CEO finished reading the last word of the file.

Trevor closed the file, casually placed it on the desk, and looked up at Simon, ”Arrange dinner for me, three people, with VIP reception specifications, only above, not below, the location should be good, able to overlook Riventhal’s night view, dishes must be top-notch, and the rest is up to you.”

Simon didn’t understand and asked in confusion, ”With such big problems, do we still have to entertain him?”

”I’m having guests tonight, who said to entertain him?” Trevor’s voice was cold, he stood up with his hands in his pockets and told him, ”Settle Mr. Li’s matter, bring along the legal department’s lawyer.”

After speaking, he stepped out.

”Mr. Trevino! There are others who want to meet you tonight! It’s clearly noted in the schedule!” Simon chased after him, his headache growing, ”It’s the Evergreen Group’s president! They specifically pointed out tonight to meet you, or they will terminate the contract!”

”Then let them terminate it.” Trevor stopped at the door, turned to ask him, ”Simon, didn’t I make myself clear earlier? I’m having guests tonight, three people, at high specifications, arrange it and text me.”

After saying that, he left without looking back.

Watching the cold and low pressure on his back, Simon, having been with him for so long, puzzled for the first time — what guest could be so important?

But the CEO’s orders, he could only obey, so he quickly pulled out his phone to book the restaurant.
