Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1358: Chapter 1358: Dinner Plans Made

In the hotel, Carlotta Sterling tidied herself up a bit; she looked young due to taking good care of herself. She lightly organized the topic in her mind for tonight.

Actually, she had already accepted Trevor in her heart.

Trevor himself was excellent, with strength and capability comparable to Julian.

Moreover, Carlotta believed Janelle’s words; she definitely wasn’t pregnant, indicating Trevor wasn’t a reckless person. This man had pretty good character.

Inside the room, Janelle Mills didn’t have the excitement and nervousness from their first meeting; it was already afternoon, and she was about to meet Trevor. She hadn’t taken a shower nor specifically changed her clothes.

No matter her state, her untouched-by-surgery face was very pretty.

Besides, she had a great personality, which naturally made her charming.

Janelle sat in the chair by the window, holding a cup of warm water and taking a few sips. She looked at the clouds in the sky and couldn’t help but think—

What did Trevor mean by mentioning Julian in the car today?

Was he jealous?

Recalling the scene at that time, there seemed to be a hint of it, but he was always cold and concise, making his thoughts hard to guess.

Therefore, the girl wasn’t quite sure what Trevor was thinking...

She felt that this man’s thoughts were somewhat inscrutable, yet he seemed to like her.

But thinking about it, Janelle couldn’t help but show a faint smile.

Thinking of him, she felt full of joy and warmth in her heart.

Soon, the sound of knocking and her mother’s voice came together—

”Janelle, what are you doing? Ready to go? It’s almost five o’clock!”

She glanced back, ”The door’s open, come in.”

The door opened, Carlotta came in, which brightened Janelle’s eyes. She quickly put down the water cup and stood up, ”A bit overdressed, aren’t you?”

”Just dressed up a bit.” The middle-aged woman walked over, scrutinizing her, ”You didn’t even change your clothes? Is tonight’s dinner still on? Why? It’s five o’clock, hasn’t called yet?”

Janelle’s heart tightened a little; her mother’s question made her a bit worried. Trevor hadn’t called yet... Did he have something come up last minute?

After all, he left the hospital in such a hurry.

Carlotta’s suspicious gaze was fixed on her daughter as Janelle took out her phone, discovering Trevor had sent a message five minutes ago!

She quickly opened it and restrained her happiness, saying to her mother, ”He’s arranged everything and sent the address.”

”Then why don’t you hurry and get ready?”

”Okay! Right away!”

The girl put down her phone and dashed into the bathroom!

Then she changed her clothes, matched her earrings, and put on a light everyday makeup.

She thought, Trevor surely wouldn’t like girls with heavy makeup, right? Being so outstanding, Trevor must have his own unique taste.

As a woman, Carlotta stood aside, observing her daughter’s every move; she found her daughter truly liked Trevor.

Because there was that kind of girlish shyness on her face.

After a while, Janelle’s phone rang, and she quickly picked it up to take a look, ”It’s Trevor!” she excitedly told her mother, then slid her finger over to answer the call.

”Hello~” her voice was very gentle, dragging a cute little tone.

”Should I come to pick you up?” Trevor asked.

Janelle looked at her mother and asked softly, ”Should we let him come to pick us up?”

”No need.” Carlotta said, ”We’ll drive over ourselves.” Because there’s something she needs to ask her on the way.

Then she relayed her mother’s thoughts to Trevor and thanked him.

”See you later.” Trevor said. ”I’m heading out now, about twenty minutes away.”

”See you later.” Janelle finished speaking and hung up the call.

”Sister Sterling, shall we head out too?” Janelle Mills took the bag from the sofa.

”Mm.” The middle-aged woman nodded, gazing deeply at her daughter before stepping towards the door, ”I have a few questions to ask you later.”
