Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1332: Chapter 1332: A Joyous Occasion

”Alright, Ethan, put on your jacket.” Ian Shelby tidies up the equipment, stands up and makes a record in his notebook before asking, ”Master, when did you measure his height?”

”Measured it yesterday.” Mia Lane answers while helping Ethan Dalton put on his jacket, ”Our Ethan has grown five centimeters taller, within the safe range.”

This comes with everyone’s expectation, as well as Ian Shelby’s prediction.

This is a joyous event.

With a gentle and comforting smile, wrinkles etched on his face, David Dalton said, ”That’s great! At this rate, will Ethan be back to normal height by next year?”

”Yes, Dad.” Mia Lane gives a bright and authoritative answer, ”This medicine has few side effects and shows significant results.”

Ian Shelby is gentle and graceful, ”Ethan himself is also very hardworking, always actively cooperating with the treatment, he looks just like a healthy child, we still need to persist with picture book education.”

”Definitely, his studies can’t fall behind.” David Dalton arranged for a teacher to give him one-on-one lessons, watching his son gradually recover truly brought him joy.

”Sister.” Ethan Dalton holds Mia Lane’s hand, looks up and asks, ”Has my brother been very busy lately? Ethan hasn’t seen my brother for a long time, Ethan misses him!”

He refers to Trevor as his brother.

Mia Lane holds her brother’s hand, inadvertently making eye contact with Ian Shelby.

Everyone here knows that Ian Shelby’s relationship with Trevor is a bit delicate, though Ethan is unaware of the matters between adults.

Mia Lane withdraws her gaze, squats down in front of the little boy, ”Ethan is so good.” She lovingly strokes his little head, patiently explaining, ”Brother has been busy with work lately, after he’s done with this period, he’ll definitely come and play with you, okay?”

”Will it take a long time?” The little boy blinks expectantly and asks.

”A week.” Mia Lane takes the opportunity to quiz him, ”Does Ethan know how long a week is?”

The little boy excitedly replies, ”It’s seven days!”

The spontaneous answer brings smiles to everyone’s faces. Truly great! This period of treatment has been very effective.

All of everyone’s efforts haven’t been in vain.

”Very good, our Ethan answered correctly, a week is seven days. The reward is some beef for lunch today, okay?”

”Yay! I can eat beef!”

Mia Lane has given her all-out patience for this problematic little brother.

It’s not that she’s particularly magnanimous, or particularly kind-hearted.

It’s simply because she loves her father very much, and Ethan is her father’s worry.

Ian Shelby is tidying up the inspection equipment, his expression remains gentle. Because he is learned and successful, he always seems to be surrounded by a holy glow, no matter where he goes, he exudes his unique charm.

Recently, since falling in love, he’s become even more charming.

In the hospital, Jocelyn Morgan steps out of the elevator, carrying a laptop as she heads to the director’s office.

She hasn’t given him notice of her visit today, initially wanting to surprise him.

She misses him, being able to catch a glimpse of him in her spare time and exchange a few words is happiness.

Some longing cannot be smoothed over the phone screen.

When she walks into the office, she doesn’t see Ian Shelby’s presence, he’s busy, no doubt about it, but Jocelyn isn’t disappointed.

Contrarily, she feels happy, as if the air is filled with his aura.

But what surprises her is that the independent office has changed, split into a partition.

Could it be a check-up room inside?

Walking in with curiosity, she’s startled!

It’s a very pink-toned office area, with a computer desk and sofa chairs, double-layer sheer curtains flutter in the wind, and there’s a simple style wall painting.

On the table, a vase holds a vibrant bouquet of roses, and as the breeze enters, the air is filled with floral fragrance.

Just then, Ian Shelby appears at the door.

Jocelyn instinctively turns her gaze, and their eyes meet.

”Why are you here?” Ian Shelby is surprised, but pleased, ”Been here long?”
