Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1310: Chapter 1310: Please Don’t Delete Me Again

Under the golden warm sun, there was still a short distance to the mountain top.

Jocelyn, dressed in sportswear, was sweating profusely but felt a strong sense of achievement, her small hand tightly held by Dr. Shelby, her palm all sweaty.

”Can you still keep going?” Ian Shelby asked with concern.

”Mm-hmm.”

The girl was panting heavily, while Ian Shelby’s breathing remained steady. Even hiking seemed like a walk in the park for him.

”Dr. Shelby, why are you so steady?” The girl turned her curious eyes, utterly puzzled. ”You’re usually so busy with work, you probably don’t exercise much, do you?”

”I exercise regularly.” Ian Shelby paused and gently told her, ”If you’re tired, let’s rest for a bit.”

With his permission, Jocelyn stopped, loosened her hand from his grip, placed her hands on her hips, and gazed down the mountain, greedily inhaling the fresh air.

At this height, the scenery below was already quite beautiful.

There was that feeling that everything seemed so small! The broad view was refreshing and delightful.

Ian Shelby took out his phone and held it in front of her, looking at her in silence.

”What’s up?” Jocelyn asked, puzzled.

”Miss Morgan, want to add me on WeChat?” Ian Shelby looked innocent, wasn’t he deleted by her?

The girl was stunned for a moment, then took out her phone and opened the QR code.

Ian Shelby scanned it and added her successfully, then asked, ”Can you promise me one thing?”

”Go ahead.” She verified it and answered quite straightforwardly, and even sent him a ’Hello’ emoji.

”Promise me that no matter what happens in the future, don’t delete me again.” Ian Shelby looked at her, his handsome brow slightly furrowed, seriously communicating with her, ”because that’s really hurtful.”

He was serious about this relationship, so when she deleted him, his heart hurt a lot.

Jocelyn’s chest tightened slightly, shocked by his serious demeanor.

Reading something in his eyes, Jocelyn stepped forward and grabbed the shirt at his waist, apologizing sincerely, ”I’m sorry, Dr. Shelby, I was wrong.”

”I don’t want apologies,” he corrected her, ”I want you to promise me.”

”Okay, I promise you.” Jocelyn raised her hand, ”I swear to the heavens, I will never delete you again, really! Please believe me, Dr. Shelby!”

Seeing her adorable appearance, Ian Shelby’s face softened, the corners of his gracefully shaped lips curving into a slight smile, then he looked at the scene at the bottom of the mountain.

Jocelyn let go of his hand and also looked at the view below, ”It’s so beautiful! I haven’t hiked in ages!”

”Jocelyn, you need to trust your judgment,” Ian Shelby said to her, ”I will also do my best to prevent similar incidents from happening again.”

She turned her eyes towards him, hearing him continue, ”But regarding the person you choose, trusting me is trusting your own judgment.”

”I know, blah blah blah, making it sound like I brought her home for the night or something.” The girl teased, ”Hasn’t this matter been settled?”

Ian Shelby looked at her speechless.

Jocelyn grinned, ”I’m just afraid of misjudging people! This world, I’m also here for the first time, and I don’t have much experience!”

Ian Shelby reached out to catch her, but she laughed and dodged, turning and running up the mountain!

For a moment, the sounds of chasing and playful laughter echoed through the mountains, the air filled with the sweet scent of happiness.

The Dalton Group, a series of skyscrapers gleamed in the sunshine.

Inside the CEO’s office of traditional Chinese style.

Next to Simon’s desk, there was a new desk, which was Cecilia Dunn’s position, and she would assist Simon from now on, sharing his workload.

Cecilia sat in her chair, holding a thick stack of documents, familiarizing herself starting from the company’s development history, with only three people in the office, each busy with their own tasks.

Until Trevor got up and left, his tall and slender figure appearing at the door, the sound of his footsteps faded away.

Only then did Cecilia Dunn’s tense nerves finally relax a bit.

She quickly put down the documents, picked up her phone, and started typing a message to Jocelyn on WeChat!

She told Jocelyn she had met her friend Trevor.

And about Trevor inquiring about Jocelyn’s situation, along with her own feelings at the time, also very gossipily asking if Mr. Trevino liked her?
