Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1305: Chapter 1305: Cecilia Dunn’s Name Was Crossed Out

Moreover, a faint sense of abdominal heaviness was coming over her, on and off.

Cecilia Dunn was simply speechless!

She hurried out the door to find the restroom.

But in less than half a minute, four examiners with their assistants walked in from the entrance, and the hall fell silent immediately.

They were around forty years old, each wearing glasses, with an air of solemnity that exuded meticulousness.

The interviewees stood in front of the reception chairs, respectfully bowing to them.

”Please sit down.” One of the examiners spoke gently.

As everyone took their seats, they saw the four of them sit down at the long table, each with an assistant standing behind them.

The scene was very quiet, and the atmosphere was inexplicably a bit tense.

Cecilia Dunn had not yet come in.

At that moment, she was squatting in the restroom, placing an urgent order for sanitary pads on Meituan, hoping the receptionist would bring them to the second-floor restroom.

She was holding her phone, truly anxious.

The interview probably started already??

But her stomach was hurting badly, and her interview performance would definitely be off. She blamed herself for not checking today’s almanac before leaving home.

Meanwhile, in the interview hall, everything was proceeding in an orderly fashion.

A girl in a blue suit stood at the long table, her voice sweet, ”Hello, supervisors, my name is Vivian Lewis.”

”Please briefly introduce yourself and talk about your strengths and weaknesses.” One of the male examiners glanced at Vivian’s profile in front of him, his voice deep.

”My name is Vivian Lewis, I’ve been graduated for two years. My social skills are relatively strong, and I can adapt quickly in the marketing department. My weakness is probably that I like to be too competitive.” She spoke honestly, and mentioned a few more points.

The examiner jotted down something in his notebook.

”How do you view the company’s policy on overtime versus no overtime?” another person asked.

”Overtime is an attitude, no overtime is efficiency.” Vivian answered calmly. ”When my efficiency is lacking, I make up for it with my attitude. In short, I’ll get things done, rest assured.”

The examiner nodded in satisfaction at the response, ”Next one.” He did not look at her the entire time.

The girl didn’t know her fate, bowed respectfully, and then returned to her seat.

”Charles Miller.” One of the examiners called out a name.

A boy stood up, walked to the long table, and bowed respectfully, ”Hello, teachers.”

At this moment, a Meituan delivery person entered The Dalton Group’s company lobby and was speaking with the receptionist about something.

Cecilia Dunn felt very unlucky, every minute and second in the restroom was excruciating.

Until five minutes later...

In the interview hall, a girl finished answering two questions and returned to her place.

”Cecilia Dunn.” The examiner spoke up, and no one responded.

”Cecilia Dunn!”

Looking towards the seating area ahead, no one stood up, and no one responded.

Everyone glanced at each other, inevitably puzzled. The Dalton Group’s once-in-five-years interview, getting through the initial screening wasn’t easy, and someone didn’t show up?

Could someone really sleep through this?

Could someone really be late?

The examiner also found it strange and asked again, ”Is Cecilia Dunn not here?”

No one answered because no one knew each other, clearly no one was there.

The examiner directly crossed out Cecilia Dunn’s name on the list, ”Next, Melody Quinn.”

He directly called the next one.

A sweet-looking girl in a white dress stood up and came before them, ”Hello, teachers, my name is Melody Quinn.” She bowed respectfully.
