Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1260: Chapter 1260: Justin Kingston Acts Decisively

”Why?” Janelle Mills turned her eyes, utterly puzzled.

”Shh.” Trevor’s gaze was cautious, not joking at all.

The girl immediately realized something was wrong, quickly took out her phone and looked, ”Damn it, there’s no signal.” Her heart sank, and she murmured, ”What happened?”

After observing her for so long, Trevor confirmed one of his thoughts: Janelle Mills wasn’t with them, despite her mysterious appearance on the plane he was on.

”Put your phone away for now.” Trevor spoke to her with utmost calm, ”This has little to do with you; they’re likely coming for me.”

”...” She felt inexplicably nervous and turned to look at him.

”Janelle, I might need your help later.” Trevor had an inkling and knew he needed to prepare in advance.

”What help?”

”It’s still uncertain now.” Trevor’s face was grim.

”The wine is here!!” Demi’s bell-like voice came through the air.

Both turned their eyes to see her walking over.

”Thank you.” Janelle quickly reached out to take it, smoothly transitioning from the topic she had with Trevor earlier. She didn’t mention a word about it because she knew this was also Demi’s turf.

Riventhal.

Mia Lane exited the hospital, realizing the situation was unfavorable, and drove to Kingston Group!

A ridiculous thought popped into her mind—

Could they be trying to force marriage on her brother? Do they want him as their son-in-law?

Signal loss; this matter is far from simple.

Soon, the car stopped downstairs at the Kingston Group.

After getting out of the car, Mia Lane quickly strode towards the hall. This matter couldn’t be explained clearly over the phone, and the recording needed to be given to Justin Kingston for him to make a judgment.

Taking the elevator upstairs, she swiftly arrived at the CEO’s office.

”President Lane?” Jerry Garcia, busy with work, quickly rose, ”Why are you here?” His face was full of surprise.

”Where’s CEO Kingston?” Mia Lane looked a bit anxious, ”I have an urgent matter with him.”

Jerry Garcia informed her, ”He’s in Meeting Room 3.”

”How long until the meeting ends?”

”He just went in; the meeting is expected to last about three hours.”

”...” Unable to wait any longer, Mia Lane turned and left.

”President Lane, take a break!” Jerry Garcia quickly headed towards the door, ”I’ll notify CEO Kingston!” He saw Mia Lane’s forehead glistening with sweat, ”Come in and sit for a while!”

Quickly, Jerry Garcia was out of sight.

Finn Morgan had to go home to inherit the family business, and recently most of what the special assistant did was handed over to Jerry Garcia, who executed it excellently.

Today’s meeting was crucial, connected by video to the branch office in Aeridia.

The company executives numbered thirteen, each tapping the keyboard of the laptop before them, ready to write the meeting outlines.

Justin Kingston was just about to speak when Jerry Garcia came in and leaned over to say something to him.

Justin Kingston closed his laptop and announced, ”Meeting cancelled.” Then he got up and left, leaving the executives dumbfounded, but not daring to ask why.

Justin Kingston entered the CEO’s office with tension, ”What happened?”

Mia Lane turned from the window, ”Trevor called me. I’ll play the recording for you.” Saying this, she tapped the phone screen.

Trevor’s voice emerged—

”Mr. William can only sit in a wheelchair due to a leg injury, but after I came to Eldoria, it’s clear his leg injury is fake.”

...

”And when I discussed the cooperation, he said...”

Upon hearing this, Justin Kingston immediately instructed Jerry Garcia, ”Prepare the jet, we’re going to Eldoria.”

”Do you think it’s unusual too?” Mia Lane was even more worried.

Justin Kingston squeezed her shoulder, ”There shouldn’t be a life-threatening situation; at worst, it’s forced marriage.”

”Forced marriage??” Mia Lane could hardly believe it, ”I also guessed, but that’s too...too unbelievable.”

”Your brother has an impressive background, such an excellent person, going alone.” Justin Kingston comforted, ”Don’t worry, we’ll take people over and check it out.”

”Don’t tell Dad.” Mia Lane feared her father would worry.

Justin Kingston nodded, then took out his phone, dialed a number, and whispered instructions, ”Bring ten people and come with me to Eldoria.”
