Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1254: Chapter 1254: The Man Who Doesn’t Know His Own Limits

Demi looked at Trevor, her beautiful eyes filled with deep admiration and love.

Though it was their first meeting, she had already learned all about this man. He was calm and reserved, with a unique style of doing things, and exceptionally outstanding.

He was her father’s favorite prospective son-in-law!

Also her idol.

Trevor could feel the intense gaze from the young girl, so he shifted his glance to Janelle not far away, ”You’re only eighteen, so young.”

”Eighteen is grown up!” The girl’s eyes sparkled as she looked at him, replying in Chinese, then with a smile, she followed his dance steps and said, ”Around here, you can get married at eighteen!”

Trevor’s expression slightly changed because he noticed something—

Janelle’s dance partner had been harassing her, and it was getting increasingly excessive.

”You smell so good~” The man deliberately leaned towards Janelle’s neck, greedily breathing deeply, almost kissing her neck!

”Are you insane?!” Furious, Janelle pushed him away forcefully.

Having reached her limit, she rebuked him in English, ”You’re completely ruining the atmosphere! Do you even realize what occasion this is?! Whose territory this is?”

With her outburst, the situation escalated immediately, everyone around stopped their dance steps and looked over at the two.

Naturally, it also attracted Trevor and Demi’s attention.

The man in the tuxedo lost face in front of everyone, instantly becoming furious, pointing at Janelle, ”Do you know who I am?! You should feel lucky I fancy you!”

He cursed in English, with a ferocious attitude!

Seeing this, Demi quickly lifted her gown and ran over, ”Trash!” Janelle denounced him, feeling her hand filthy, she turned and walked towards the restroom!

The man refused to give up and attempted to chase after her!

Trevor halted his steps, a sharp cold glare shot towards him!

Demi followed Janelle.

”Who are you?” The man grumbled pointing at Trevor, questioning him in English, ”Dare to ruin my plans?”

Trevor could smell the stench of arrogance.

He stood upright, with a faint smile, but his tone was full of mockery, ”This is not some common place, it’s the Darcy Manor ball. Anyone who comes here is either rich or noble. Anyone picked at random could easily outclass you.” He also spoke in English.

Trevor’s words earned everyone’s praise.

The man suddenly sobered up, glancing at the surrounding people murmuring, inexplicably feeling a bit guilty.

Soon, two bodyguards rushed in, grabbed him from either side, and ”kindly” escorted him out of the banquet hall.

It was Lucy who secretly reported the situation to Mr. William.

The bodyguards were sent by Mr. William.

Many admiring looks fell on Trevor; an exceptionally handsome man truly stands apart, even when he’s frowning in anger, showing impatience, it’s captivating.

Inside the restroom.

Janelle vigorously washed the hand that the man had grabbed, ”It’s so outdated! There are still such disgusting creeps!”

”I don’t recognize him either.” Demi placed a hand on her shoulder, ”Alright, don’t be mad, Trevor stood up for you, probably that guy has been kicked out by now.”

Janelle wasn’t the sort to hold grudges. She glanced at her good friend, smiling, ”Hmm!” Then the two girls came out.

Peace restored in the banquet hall, everyone was dancing.

Trevor stood straight, his gaze resting on Janelle’s face, with her also seeing him.

Their eyes met, and the atmosphere was somewhat inexplicable... unusual.

”You guys go dance.” Janelle stood facing Trevor, telling them, ”I’m not going to spoil the fun anymore.”

”It’s not your fault!” Demi hugged her, laughing as she said, ”Don’t stress about it, okay? Those scumbags have been cleared out! The ones left are all elite, you should hurry up and find a boyfriend! I’m getting married soon, you can’t stay single!”

”What?” Janelle was surprised, ”You’re getting married, with whom?”
