Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1253: Chapter 1253: The Ball Begins

William once again proactively clinked glasses with Trevor, ”After the first dance, I’ll have Demi show you around this manor.” Then he tipped his head back, downing his drink in one go, looking quite pleased.

Trevor kept a calm expression, saying nothing, though he vaguely sensed something unusual.

The two exchanged a few pleasantries before other guests came over to greet Mr. William.

Night had already fallen.

The guests invited to the dance party gradually arrived in full force.

The parking lot was filled with luxurious cars. The socialites were resplendent in their finest evening gowns, adorned with the most exquisite makeup.

The gentlemen were clad in sharp suits, and some even wore tailcoats.

Middle-aged couples appeared loving, with wives always linking arms with their husbands, using such occasions to make more social connections with smiles on their faces.

The ball officially began, and almost everyone made their way to the splendidly decorated ballroom.

The expansive room could accommodate nearly five hundred people, with exquisite arched windows reminiscent of The Pariden Cathedral and chandeliers worth millions, exuding luxury at every turn.

As the famous live music started playing.

The star of the night, Miss Demi, appeared at the staircase corner with her good friend Janelle Mills.

All eyes turned to them, amidst the anticipation of the crowd, under the dazzling chandelier light—

The unique beauty of the two young girls was breathtaking.

Their different styled evening gowns perfectly accentuated their feminine grace, with tailored cuts emphasizing their slender waists.

Elegant, beautiful, stunning, like a pair of sisters!

Applause filled the room.

Holding a glass of red wine, Trevor’s gaze fell on Janelle Mills, a glimmer flashing in his deep eyes, instinctively taking a few extra glances at her.

With a smile on their faces, the two girls slowly descended the stairs to the melodious music.

Noticing Trevor looking at her, Janelle deliberately avoided his gaze.

Trevor retracted his gaze and thoughts.

After reaching downstairs, many guests eagerly approached Demi, greeting her warmly.

”Happy birthday, Miss Demi!”

”Long time no see, little princess!”

”Demi, you’re getting more beautiful!”

”Who designed this dress tonight? It fits perfectly!”

”Is it bespoke?”

The questions were in English, all understood by Demi.

She smiled politely, nodding to everyone, responding simply and constantly saying thank you.

Meanwhile, a man noticed Janelle Mills, setting down his wine glass and making his way toward her.

The man wore a black tailcoat, a white shirt, and had a classic Eldorian face, looking quite handsome.

”Hello, miss, may I invite you to be my dance partner?” The man asked with a smile, appearing quite the gentleman.

Janelle simply glanced at him and found him looking pretty good, ”Sure.” She readily agreed.

People always pay attention to the first impression of features; if they look good, they won’t be too off-putting.

The dance formally began.

The lovely Demi proactively approached Trevor, filled with joy, looking up at him with bright eyes, ”Mr. Trevor, what kind of dance can you do?”

”What can you dance?” Trevor, who had attended many dances, could manage quite difficult dances and said without modesty, ”I can do them all.”

The girl was shocked, and her admiration and awe for him grew a bit more!

He then casually placed the goblet he held onto the tray of a passing waiter.

Demi proactively placed her hand into his palm, wrapping the other around his waist.

Because Trevor was very tall, the two looked like they had a charming height difference.

Trevor held her small hand, lightly resting the other on her shoulder, walking the dance steps with her to the music, seeing her only as a little sister in his eyes.
