Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 651: Chapter 651: Finn Morgan, There’s a Snake

In the photographer’s eyes, they looked like a couple.

Hailey Hale listened to Finn Morgan’s words but did not get in the water, ”Is the drop at least a hundred meters?” She gazed up at the spectacular waterfall nearby and asked, ”Is there a river above? How can there be water on the mountain top?”

Finn Morgan stood beside her, ”That’s the wonder of waterfalls, the water never runs dry.” He looked around and said, ”This place hasn’t been commercialized, it’s essentially kept its original ecological environment.”

Watching the waterfall plunge straight down, like a silver curtain, it splashes up layers of mist.

Surrounded by green mountains, red flowers, lush forests, and bamboo groves, it is definitely a perfect holiday sanctuary.

The waterfall is hidden within overlapping mountain ranges, and even from a distance, the air around is filled with the scent of the mist, making one feel the romance of nature.

In front of the cabin down the mountain.

Everyone prepared dinner food, and started making dinner.

Most of it is wild, with some homemade dishes, which taste many times better than the supermarket ones.

Because Finn Morgan came, Mia Lane specially went to the cabin owner’s house to buy two native chickens, asking the owner to help clean them, and made a pot of pure chicken soup.

As Finn Morgan and Hailey Hale descended the mountain, the sunset dyed Skye in layers of beautiful hues.

They saw everyone busy in the courtyard, smoke curling upward, and the aroma of food wafting over.

”They’re coming down!”

”Quick come, come! Time for dinner!”

Finn Morgan and Hailey Hale quickened their steps.

The dinner featured roasted sweet potatoes and corn, and seven or eight homestyle dishes, including wild vegetables and vegetables grown by the owner. The chicken was particularly delicious, as it was free-range and grew up eating bugs, making the meat especially tender.

This was everyone’s last dinner at the cabin, so they cherished it.

”We can come again for a holiday in the future.”

”Yeah, the environment here is really great.”

”It’s just like a paradise.”

In the courtyard, everyone sat around the table, eating dinner as the beautiful sunset bathed them, seemingly outlining their features in gold.

After dinner, the afterglow of the sky hadn’t completely dissipated, and the sky at this time was the most beautiful and enchanting.

Some took the opportunity to take photos.

Some tidied up their belongings and started loading the car... only taking valuables like computers with them.

Hailey Hale sat by the stream not far away, on the pavilion swing chair a few meters below the cabin’s location, listening to the babbling water, swaying away... forgetting her worries.

Finn Morgan stood by the cabin, on the top step, appreciating the valley’s landscape. Numerous small yellow wildflowers were blooming brilliantly in clumps, it was truly beautiful...

He finally fixed his gaze on the girl on the swing, watching her slight smile, feeling the tranquility of time.

”Hailey, Finn, eat some fruit!”

After a while, a voice reached their ears.

Finn Morgan turned his head, ”Alright.”

Hailey Hale lifted her head to look at him, overlooked the sunset’s splendid glow, standing silhouetted, his profile etched like an alluring picture.

”Want to go eat fruit?” Finn Morgan asked her, the two about five or six meters apart.

”Okay.” Hailey Hale just got up and was about to step forward when she saw a snake near the steps, flicking its tongue, coming towards her.

Her nerves tightened and her eyes widened, ”Finn... there’s a snake...” Her heart instantly leaped to her throat.

When she raised her gaze, she saw Finn Morgan about to turn away.

Terrified, she screamed, ”Finn! There’s a snake!”

Finn Morgan turned his eyes upon hearing, the snake like targeting, lunged at Hailey Hale!

”Ah—” Her hands covered her face instinctively, dodging.

Finn Morgan’s gaze sharpened, and he jumped down five steps!

Stably landing in front of her, he pulled her into his embrace by her shoulders!

Then he kicked, sending the snake flying into the stream!
