Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Dawn breaks.

Baimu crawled out of the tent, yawning with a peculiar expression.

If you set aside the marvelous sensation of the soul state, the paranormal fan’s Soul Detachment Memory is just an ordinary amusement park night outing memory.

The value is quite low indeed.

If his soul suddenly detaches in the future, this memory might help him grasp the post-detachment state more quickly, but if he doesn’t experience it today, the chances of experiencing soul detachment in the future are very slim.

“Everyone wake up! Hoopa! You should get up too!”

He turned his head and shouted at Hoopa, who was under the Altered-color Gengar’s bottom, with only one hand showing.

Hoopa arrived before dawn.

At that time, it was evening in Carlos, and the Little Demon God, who had no concept of time difference in its dictionary, had just finished eating his beloved donuts and then rushed into his tent with a predator-like leap through a Light Wheel.

The first to be startled awake was the Hydreigon, which almost spat out a Dragon Breath, causing a commotion until Mawile, also awakened, knocked on its head to calm it down.

However, the commotion also disturbed the surrounding Wild Pokémon, whose cries and howls only subsided more than half an hour later.

The culprit foolishly laughed without a care, while the suffering Baimu and other Pokémon were extremely helpless.

“Good morning, Xiaobai…”

In a dreamy mutter, Hoopa rubbed its eyes and crawled out from under Gengar, “What’s for breakfast? Donuts? It’s got to be donuts!”

“Wrong guess entirely.”

Baimu had no intention of eating something so greasy first thing in the morning.

Hoopa pouted with its cheeks puffed up, arms dangling powerlessly, and threatened in a feigned weak tone, “Without donuts, Hoopa has no energy and can’t help Xiaobai.”

Baimu squatted by the well to wash his face, turned around with a smile, and said, “It doesn’t matter, I believe Hoopa will surely have energy when the time comes, because Hoopa is kind and cute.”

“Really? Hoopa is kind and cute, eeeheeheehee—” Hoopa covered its cheeks and laughed happily, then suddenly froze, “Xiaobai, Xiaobai, how mean! Thinking saying that would make Hoopa not eat donuts!”

It swooped over and swung its Little Fist onto Baimu’s back.

Of course, the punches had no real strength; this Nagatomi Sound Little Demon God was only being coquettish. After all, even Mei Yali, who grew up with it, wouldn’t so bluntly call it cute.

Hoopa felt a bit shy.

“Just telling the truth.”

Baimu cheerfully splashed water on its face, and the dripping-wet Hoopa was unwilling to relent, manipulating the Light Wheel to shoot Water Bullets, all of which Baimu cleverly dodged.

Their playful noise quickly attracted the Hydreigon and the Dreepy Siblings, whose lively nature couldn’t resist joining in, sparking a large-scale water fight.

Even the Wild Pokémon joined in.

“Miro~”

The Altered-color Milotic in the temporary channel spat water everywhere, laughing joyfully.

Due to the time difference, although he had arranged with Furong yesterday, he had to wait until the afternoon to pick her up, so the relatively free morning prompted Baimu to decide to dig a few more wells before heading to the arena.

So many Wild Pokémon sharing a single well is inconvenient for both daily drinking and watering plants.

Hoopa suggested it could help transport fresh water; if it could move a small lake, no one would lack water.

Baimu temporarily refused this tempting suggestion.

Not to mention that the site selection for the lake needs discussion, where to transport from, and how to avoid affecting the ecology of the transport site also requires a detailed and thorough plan.

There’s no hurry, we’ve got plenty of time.

“I’ll leave it to you.”

He patted Aggron’s arm and the hard, transverse steel bones of the Steelix. Although this well was actually dug by Aggron, the credit goes to Da Wu.

Without his rich knowledge of mineral resources, he and Aggron would still be fumbling in the dark.

Da Wu isn’t here now.

He can only rely on Porygon II and the Steelix. The former is an artificial Pokémon designed with space exploration in mind. With Steelix, a heavy-duty digging machine, finding water shouldn’t be too difficult.

And indeed, it wasn’t.

After Baimu proposed the idea last night, Porygon II quickly took Steelix underground to find water, confirming several water points shortly thereafter.

When the Wild Pokémon heard he was going to dig new wells, they all followed along.

They also found water use inconvenient, but every time they tried to find a new water source elsewhere on this mountain, Helena would stop them.

Helena knew very well that it was already difficult enough for the Wild Pokémon to live here, and further messing with the mountain range would certainly displease Baimu.

Better to have something than nothing.

Among the pile of rocks.

“Is it here?”

Baimu directed Aggron to push aside rocks larger than himself; the mountain wind kicked up thin dust, which was quite stifling.

“Yes.”

Porygon II confirmed via the phone.

A gung-ho Steelix with its transverse steel bones spinning, it first used its tail to dig out a basic pit, then plunged its giant head straight down.

Rumble—!!

The earth quaked, sending a massive cloud of sand skyward.

Wearing goggles and a scarf, Baimu distanced himself from the dust-filled rock pile, scanning around for a suitable spot to plant Tree Fruit.

The Banana Fragrance Fruit and Fyrepear stored in Gengar’s belly must eventually be dealt with appropriately; after the fruit is eaten, the seeds shouldn’t be wasted.

Although given the current soil fertility, even if they sprout, it’s difficult for them to survive, and even less likely to bear fruit of the same quality, ordinary-quality Tree Fruit is better than having none.
