Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1206 -708: Grabbing the Weakness

Boom!

The tidal wave surged forward, spreading in two directions except behind.

“It’s flooded!”

“The underground water is gushing out again!”

“Fool! It’s Aggron’s surfing attack!”

While retreating to avoid the waves, the crowd didn’t forget to bicker noisily.

Besides the Rescue Organization defeating the third-generation Shadow Team, the sudden appearance of underground water gushing out was most memorable for Silicon City’s citizens in recent years.

This unusual phenomenon beyond the understanding of Oasis residents had flooded three streets before receding.

Many people claimed that before the underground water gushing, a terrifying dark bird flew across the sky, but not many paid attention.

Ignoring whether there are creatures besides humans in the Ore Region, a house-sized dark bird?

You must be seeing things!

Nevertheless, Mega Aggron’s surfing attack certainly reminded them of that day, when the muddy floodwaters covered everything.

Zhengyi was equally shocked.

Your Aggron is of Water Attribute? You didn’t even draw in water from the channels!

“Digging!”

“Sandslash!”

Without the Trainer’s command, the water-fearing Sandslash had already clawed and burrowed into the ground beneath its feet, making the tunnel as complex as possible to avoid being consumed by the water.

After all, it had been hit by a Frozen Beam, and its back still bore frost marks, far from its peak condition. Even at its best, it wouldn’t dare to withstand such waves!

Having been to Jinqing Port with the Trainer, it recalled the roaring ocean tides, never being able to forget how it shivered in fear before the vast, turbulent sea and was even ridiculed by other companions.

Detecting water pouring in from behind, Sandslash rapidly continued digging forward.

It planned to launch an attack from the flank of that fierce creature.

But before it could dig further, the Trainer’s indistinct and anxious voice faintly conveyed an urge for it to quickly hide.

Following this, the trembling sensation brought by water rushing into the burrow suddenly intensified—

Wrong!

The direction of the tremor was overhead!

Sandslash abruptly lifted its head, greeted by silver claws smashing the rocks overhead. The hard quartz crumbled like melting chocolate before it, with dim light invading the underground world.

“Sandslash!”

It instinctively swung its sharp claws surrounded by earthy yellow light to counterattack, only to find its proud spear-like long claws couldn’t leave even a scratch on that creature’s silver armor!

Not even a white speck!

To its own detriment, its action allowed the opponent to seize its claw, forcibly pulling it from the ground like pulling a radish!

“Guh—Roar!”

Sandslash’s vision blurred, first hearing the thunderous roar, then meeting a pair of water-blue eyes.

But before it could discern the emotions in the opponent’s eyes, its attention shifted upward as its body spun; a black cloud was swirling into shape.

“Round out!”

Zhengyi’s shout was timely.

However, Sandslash’s move was far slower than the pace of his command.

As it just curled into a ball, countless irregular ice crystals mixed with white snow roared down from the cloud, just like the moment of an avalanche on a snow mountain—

[Avalanche]!

Used after being attacked and damaged, its power doubled!

Although Mega Aggron’s stamina depleted by Digging might not be more than a brief workout cost, since it took damage.

The power of emotion transformed Avalanche into an Ice Attribute physical technique surpassing Blizzard merely in sheer data power!

Boom——!!

Sandslash was instantly buried under the snow, with the sweeping white mist and flying snow spreading wildly around, eradicating the residual Sandstorm, and charging towards spectators distanced from the scene.

In an instant.

They felt an icy coldness penetrating their hearts, with many astonished to find their pants soaked by surfing waves were now frozen, leaving large patches of frost white traces.

Many instinctively crossed their arms, shivering, while some even stomped their feet in place trying to rid the ice from their legs.

“So, so cold.”

“Is this what the outside world calls winter?”

“Daddy, it’s snow! That’s definitely snow, right? I’m seeing snow for the first time!”

The crowd became noisy, countless gazes toward Mega Aggron filled with awe.

Though there were only two moves displayed, anyone could see that the attacks released by Pokémon like Blissey pale in comparison.

Surfing, Avalanche, each move incredibly fitting.

Could Sandslash withstand such an onslaught?

The answer was no.

Even Zhengyi himself knew it was impossible, and what’s more shocking, Mega Aggron’s special attack ability exhibited at the championship finals shouldn’t be of this level.

Has it grown stronger?

It’s only been a month!

Zhengyi himself found it hard to believe he could make such noticeable progress within a month—not considering tactical changes, his frequent challenges to the Master of Battle Mountain, Bartas, from mostly losing to losing less and winning more, had already made him quite proud.

His former teacher told him that training Pokémon is a long journey, akin to a marathon.

But Baimu noticeably improved within one month!

Are you flying a plane?

“Sandslash…”

Zhengyi squeezed out three words through clenched teeth, having already seen his partner transform into a ball within the snow pile, barely moving.

He pulled out the Pokeball and recalled it, saying, “You did great.”
