Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Veil City.

A city with a strong commercial atmosphere and a well-developed warehousing industry.

The familiar night seems to hold a special magic, invigorating the Paranormal Fan who would otherwise feel tired.

[You urge Gengar and the others to head to Veil Game City together]

Gengar’s pixelated face was full of shock, Mismagius and Drifblim looked at each other as if not fully awake, while the newly joined Rotom was flying around erratically.

Subsequently.

The Paranormal Fan demonstrated what it meant to be an all-night call; she played at the 24-hour open game city until dawn before heading back to the Pokémon Center, making Miss Joy mistakenly think she was a Trainer who traveled overnight to Veil City.

[You were scolded by Miss Joy, who said that traveling overnight in the wild is very dangerous, especially for a young girl like you]

The Paranormal Fan didn’t dare to admit she had stayed up all night playing and quickly went to make up for sleep.

The Ghost-type Pokémon who accompanied her on a crazy night also began to rest.

“Sounds interesting…”

Baimu rubbed his chin on the head of the Altered-color Gengar; the game city in the game only appeared in the first four generations and disappeared from the fifth generation onward.

If there’s a chance, maybe experience it sometime.

Of course, there are many places with game cities; Pyrite Town actually has one as well, but it carries a childhood atmosphere.

The simulated scene switches.

The refreshed Paranormal Fan starts the challenge at Veil Gym.

Unexpectedly.

The Gym Leader at Veil Gym was not the pink-haired Fighting Maiden Alee known by Baimu, but a disheveled middle-aged man.

Hmm!

Does this mean the story takes place before Ash Ketchum arrived in the Sinnoh Region?

Baimu carefully recalled the plot and suddenly remembered that Alee had lost her confidence after being beaten by Shinji until Xiaoguang helped her overcome her psychological shadow.

At that time, she claimed to have been the Gym Leader for less than half a year.

Did she take over from her father?

Baimu watched with interest the simple Pokémon battles in the simulation.

Pit Fighting Attribute Pokémon against Ghost Attribute Pokémon, without the Recognize technique or Courage Trait, there’s a high probability of falling behind. After all, they’ve lost an important native technique, while the opponent is unaffected.

With this, the Paranormal Fan consecutively defeated the Veil Gym Leader’s Machoke and Meditite, struggling slightly only when Lucario came on stage.

But that’s all.

When Gengar raised a Shadow Ball and smashed it onto the kneeling Lucario, the fourth Gym was smoothly overcome.

[You defeated the Veil Gym Leader and earned the Veil Badge]

To celebrate the smooth Gym challenge, the Paranormal Fan stayed in Veil City for an extra day, playing all the games she hadn’t finished playing in the game city before finally taking the train to her next destination.

Destination—

Snow Peak City.

The winter city shining with ice flowers.

But just after getting off the train, the Paranormal Fan collapsed again.

[You haven’t yet appreciated the Snowscape of Snow Peak City when the cold virus, following the low temperatures, hits you first]

She had to huddle in the Pokémon Center until she recovered, but fortunately, Miss Joy was skilled in treating not only Pokémon but also humans.

The narrator informs Baimu that there were many Trainers who recklessly arrived in Snow Peak City without preparation.

Miss Joy was already accustomed to taking care of Trainers knocked down by the cold wind.

“Truly reliable…”

He couldn’t help but sigh, though more curious about why, despite being at the fifth Gym, the Paranormal Fan’s constitution hadn’t improved like Mann Chong’s had?

Could it be related to her not adventuring outdoors?

Baimu watched the Paranormal Fan shiver under thick blankets, shaking his head, since coming to this world, he hadn’t fallen ill, and his physical fitness only got better each day.

The weak constitution buff seemed irrelevant to him.

The scene switches again.

The time is now late at night.

The Paranormal Fan’s mysterious physique seemed to activate again, as a Froslass passed through the wall, surrounded by a white mist symbolizing cold air.

The sleeping Paranormal Fan instantly shivered from the cold, waking Gengar and the other Pokémon in the room.

They chased away the Froslass.

However.

The next night the Froslass returned, followed by the third night, the fourth night…

The narrator indicated that Gengar, seeing that the Paranormal Fan’s illness persisted and the Froslass kept harassing, possibly exacerbating her condition, did something quite bold—

It captured the Froslass.

[Your Gengar captured a Froslass, adding a new Ghost Companion]

Baimu: “…Awesome.”

A Pokémon capturing another Pokémon is simply unheard of, and capturing a wild Froslass… seems not entirely implausible.

He suddenly remembered the Froslass he saw in the Spirit Realm of Mauville City, which was no different from a real female ghost, even playing with human souls.

In any case.

When the Paranormal Fan awakened from her feverish daze, she was surprised to find she had gained a new companion.

[You look at the Froslass in the Pokeball, then at Gengar’s nonchalant face, and fall into contemplation]

Baimu watched the speechless Paranormal Fan, pondering whether if Aggron and the others brought back one someday, if he should acknowledge it?

Admitting it would definitely require effort and serious training.

The Paranormal Fan seemed to have accepted it.

[You rested for another day, adjusting to your best state before heading to challenge the Gym]

Snow Peak Gym’s Gym Leader Xiaosong, known as the Diamond Star Maiden, a vibrant black-haired girl with twin ponytails, seemed unlike a Trainer who bred Ice-type Pokémon.

For the first time in this battle, the Paranormal Fan sent out Rotom, but regrettably, she didn’t know Rotom’s true strength, and due to the short training time, it was immediately taken out.
