Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1202 -706: Yip Man Large Egg

Pa pa pa!

The crowd erupted in applause.

Although most people didn’t understand the details of the battle inside the arena, it didn’t stop them from finding the match incredibly exciting.

Especially the fierce Cacturne was completely ineffective against the gentle, lovely Blissey.

Because even in Silicon City, the common belief was that fiercer Pokémon are more powerful.

What level is Blissey?

Look at how it is so gentle and weak. Pokémon like it, commonly serving as nurses in the Pokémon Center, can they fight? No, they don’t have that capability—

What? It actually won!?

The strong sense of contrast was laid bare before all the spectators.

“So strong!”

“No wonder the Town Hall always streams his battle videos!”

“The dual winner of the Gorgeous Competition and the League Conference definitely holds weight; he can be said to be the top under the Champion.”

“Champion? Is a Champion really powerful?”

“A Champion isn’t just powerful; they are incredibly powerful! There are only a few in the entire world!”

Some outsiders explained carefully to others the significance of the term “Champion” in other regions, but unfortunately, most Ore People find it hard to grasp the weight of these two words.

Because the battle culture in Ore isn’t as widespread as it is elsewhere.

Inside the arena.

Zhengyi smiled and praised, “A very brilliant tactical variation; Blissey’s defensive capability is equally stunning, truly a gem of Ore.”

“You’re not bad either.”

Baimu ignored the opponent’s title and responded sincerely.

Cacturne adopted a standard Sand Concealment tactic, using weather and traits to confuse the opponent and their Pokémon’s vision, something Baimu demonstrated yesterday with Garchomp for the Trainers at Pyrite Arena.

There are differences in details, but the essence is unchanged.

This tactic is common in Sandstorm Teams and Snow Teams and is highly practical. Without Blissey’s outstanding Spiritual Power, merely guessing where Cacturne is would be quite challenging.

Just based on this, Zhengyi as a Trainer is already excellent.

Not to mention using attribute-countering techniques to break status moves, removing even what Alice couldn’t undo with Telekinesis.

Of course.

Alice’s approach was different, and Telekinesis wasn’t the main point at that time, with differences existing between Pokémon.

As for subsequent moves, setting an overall strategy with up to three or more Pokémon…

Baimu doesn’t expect too much, as even those strong Trainers outside often find it difficult to achieve this, and he himself often chooses Pokémon either as pairs or lets them fight independently.

Both briefly praised each other, and the battle continued.

Zhengyi sent out his second Pokémon.

“It’s up to you!”

Bang!

A flash of white light.

Entering the field was a large Sandslash, with deep brown spikes covering its back, and its sharp claws reflecting a cold gleam in the sunlight, like two snow-white spears that could pierce steel.

“Sandslash!”

Is it Sand Concealment Trait again?

No, Sand-Sifting Trait?

Baimu saw Sandslash running towards Blissey at a swift speed, kicking up a cloud of dust due to its full-speed sprint, and made a preliminary judgment.

“Light Wall.”

He ordered softly.

Zhengyi was distracted by the surrounding spectators’ discussions and couldn’t hear clearly, thus had to judge the move by Blissey’s action.

Seeing Blissey stare at Sandslash and suddenly raise its tiny hand, its eyes covered by blue light.

It’s coming!

A raising-hand move plus utilizing Spiritual Power—

Telekinesis? Regardless, must evade the frontal attack!

“Ball Transformation and Evasion!”

Zhengyi shouted, and the running Sandslash immediately lunged forward, curling up into a deep brown spiky ball in mid-air, then drifted and swerved to the side upon landing!

The Sand-Sifting Trait allowed Sandslash to move at a speed that almost produced afterimages, and when Blissey lost its location, it instinctively turned towards the direction the afterimage departed.

However.

The move it used wasn’t the Telekinesis Zhengyi guessed based on its action, but a floating, multi-colored, glass-like wall.

“—Splitting Tiles!”

Zhengyi failed to predict but wasn’t discouraged; he confidently let Sandslash face off for a chance at this fleeting moment.

Light Wall, such a thing—it just needs to be shattered!

Along with the Reflective Wall left from the previous match!

“Sandslash!”

Originally planning to roll to Blissey’s back, Sandslash’s position shifted to the side due to its target’s turning, lunging forward and unwinding from its curled stance mid-air, swinging its claw surrounded with red-brown light at Blissey’s round head!

Ah!

The crowd gasped; the distance between the two Pokémon was extremely close!

At the decisive moment.

Baimu’s calm voice came through: “Step back one step!”

Amongst many tense gazes, Blissey seemingly foresaw everything, lifting its foot in advance, making the retreat action occur almost simultaneously with the Trainer’s command.

Sandslash’s ferocious Splitting Tiles missed by just that little step.

“Sandslash!?”

First startled, Sandslash immediately swung its claw sideways in pursuit, while Blissey dodged back, continuing to evade the follow-up claw strikes!

The scene resembled Yip Man evading Zhang Tianzhi’s consecutive punches, skillfully, leaving the onlookers breathless in anticipation.

How is this done? It’s incredible!

But Zhengyi knew this was the Shrink move enhancing Blissey’s evasion capability, making its senses sharper, and its body coordination improved—even if the shrunken state is hard to maintain, the ability enhancement won’t easily fade.

Damn it!

This isn’t scientific!

Sandslash has the Sand-Sifting Trait!

He realized Blissey was actually overpowering Sandslash in terms of reaction speed, so even if its speed was inferior, it could nimbly dodge Sandslash’s attacks.
