Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1207 -708: Grabbing the Weakness (Part 2)

Baimu, seeing the situation, also took the initiative to lift the Super Evolution state with Aggron. The feeling of disconnecting minds was like pulling a phone charger out of the socket, and it worked with a snap.

Within the light, Aggron reverted to its original form and looked at the Trainer, “Guh-ow~”

Is it already over?

Surprisingly, it had to step in to finish things today; this kind of battle was usually handled by Hydreigon.

Ace must maintain some flair.

“They wanted to see Super Evolution, and Mawile just finished grooming; you wouldn’t want to see its grumpy face all day, would you?” Baimu patted its metal arm.

Aggron nodded instinctively when it heard this.

At the same time.

Zhengyi navigated around a snowbank and walked over from the opposite side, his expression tinged with disappointment but mostly filled with excitement. He praised, “Ore’s unpolished gem! Well-deserved fame! The power of Super Evolution left me in awe!”

He extended his hand.

“I don’t deserve it, Mr. Zhengyi; you are quite formidable yourself.” Baimu shook his hand earnestly, feeling that Zhengyi was nearly as good as Alice in the tournament.

What a pleasant surprise.

But who gave me that nickname?

It’s better than Demon Wood, yet how could I be considered an unpolished gem?

If not a Champion, then not “polished jade”?

Zhengyi, with a warm smile, said, “Oh, it’s nothing; I was planning to drink orange juice, but now it seems I’ll have to settle for peach juice. Oh, and by the way, I personally dislike Taotao Fruit and prefer Orange Fruit…”

“Ahahaha…”

Baimu awkwardly listened to him explain his preferences and methods of self-motivation and suddenly interrupted, “Mr. Zhengyi, do you often challenge strong Trainers?”

“Of course!”

Zhengyi nodded, clenched his right fist, and his eyes glowed with determination: “I always believe that to make Pokémon consistently grow, one must challenge as many strong opponents as possible. Winning proves my strength, and losing guides me to new paths!”

Nice thinking!

Baimu silently praised and asked, “Forgive my rudeness, but during your challenges, how many impressive opponents have you encountered? I would love to learn from you.”

Zhengyi’s knowledge of the Ore Trainer circle was clearly greater than his own, and he likely had the information he sought.

As expected.

He picked up on Baimu’s subtext and curiously asked, “Do you want to challenge them? Makes sense; for a Trainer like you, making a name outside and then returning must mean defeating local Trainers to boost your fame!

“But if you want me to recount now, it may be hard to recall in detail. It’s getting late; shall we find a place to sit and have something to eat?”

Faced with Zhengyi’s invitation, Baimu checked the time, regrettably saying, “I’m very sorry, Mr. Zhengyi; I have urgent matters to attend to and need to return to Pyrite Town soon. Could we perhaps connect on Poké Line?”

“Oh… that’s fine then!”

Zhengyi’s face showed disappointment, saying, “I thought you might stay in Silicon City for a while—what a shame. But it’s okay! I’ll come to Pyrite Town to find you in the future!”

Baimu was slightly surprised: “Ah?”

“You can come to Silicon City too; why not schedule a time for our next battle?” Zhengyi clearly intends more than a one-time battle; this motivated guy seems determined to learn from Baimu long-term.

Just like his frequent challenges to Bartas.

Baimu didn’t refuse, “Alright then…”

Suddenly.

He realized something and said to Zhengyi, “Mr. Zhengyi, as the Gym Leader of the Training Center and the Arena Leader, you must have many Trainer students?”

“Naturally. Why, do you want to challenge them?”

“No, I recently took over Pyrite Arena and feel that just the two of us battling might be a bit monotonous; why not get our students to battle each other too?”

“Great idea!”

Zhengyi’s eyes lit up with divine light; he wanted to grab Baimu’s shoulders to show his excitement but was skillfully dodged by the latter. He was unfazed, excitedly saying: “Only through group battles and exchanges can we grow; Baimu, your idea is brilliant!”

Baimu replied, “You can just call me Baimu.”

“Then you should call me by my name; let’s drop the formalities. Come on! I’ll treat you to some fruit juice! Don’t tell me you don’t even have time for drinking juice!”

Zhengyi laughed loudly, happily inviting him.

Baimu agreed, which made a few visiting Trainers who wanted to fight him disappointed.

Even outside, the opportunity to battle strong Trainers doesn’t come often, especially at the level of the Four Heavenly Kings and Champion—not to mention the usual street fights.

Trainers sometimes need to compete to earn the right to challenge them.

It was this way when Kanto’s former Four Heavenly Kings, Kona, appeared in the Orange Islands.

The crowd departed reluctantly.

The vendor, hearing the two coming for juice, hurried back, only to be seen drenched in sweat when they approached.

Zhengyi curiously asked, “Why are you covered in sweat?”

“Haha, it’s hot.”

The vendor wiped sweat from his head with a towel and began to crush several Taotao Fruit in an iron bowl with a sturdy muddler.

It’s hand-made juice!

Baimu was amazed; juicers shouldn’t be that expensive—okay, well, here the sign indeed says hand-made.

He looked at the somewhat simple sign, took the chilled peach juice Zhengyi handed him, thanked him, and drank it in one go.

Silicon City isn’t much cooler than Pyrite Town; the surrounding plants clearly don’t lower the area’s overall temperature.

However.

With Lugia’s continuous rainfall, Ore’s temperature will inevitably drop.

Maybe it’ll be like other regions, with perennial snow-covered areas?

Baimu chuckled, feeling like he was daydreaming.

He chatted with Zhengyi briefly, decided to hold the first Ore-Silicon City training exchange tournament next week at Pyrite Arena, and said goodbye.

——

The Big Monster’s Mountain.

When Baimu returned, he caught the Wild Pokémon dining; as soon as he appeared, he was surrounded by Wild Pokémon of all sizes.

But once they learned he had no food, they left him behind.

“How superficial can you guys be!”

Baimu laughed, helpless.

He practiced Steelix’s Super Evolution as usual; unlike yesterday’s nap, this time it unleashed attribute energy toward the clearing for better guidance.

This scared the Lycanroc Leader considerably; it initially planned to ask him if they could bite treats from that place again this afternoon—but no courage now.

Until discovered by Dragapult and informed Baimu.

“You still want to go?”

He was surprised at the Lycanroc Leader’s attitude; yesterday it seemed eager to bite him along, but today it wanted to “work” with him?

Why?

Quickly, Baimu learned the reason from other Lycanroc.

This guy’s child loves Poké Block, and the Lycanroc Leader spoils them, hence dropping previous grudges.

Of course, this is also due to Baimu’s constant display of goodwill, and his strength suppressed all Wild Pokémon.

“I feel like I’m facing middle-aged workhorses.”

He looked helplessly at the joyful Lycanroc clan, frankly only wanting them to help a bit; now it seemed he’d caught their “soft spot.”

He’s not some Devil.

Since that’s the case.

Baimu pondered a bit, deciding to hold a Pokémon knowledge class for Arena Trainers this afternoon.

The literacy rate is so low that self-learning is difficult; with many Pokémon here, using examples in teaching might be easier to comprehend than just presenting a slideshow.

In the afternoon.

Baimu drove back to Pyrite Town.

Passing the construction site for the Underground City, he saw it surrounded and parked to ask: “What’s happened here?”

“Baimu!”

“Boss Baimu!”

Those people knew him, greeted him, and said: “Heard some people went down and directly fainted, unable to come up; even those who went to rescue fainted—a lot of people fainted! Quite strange!”

“A lot of people fainted?”

Baimu was slightly surprised, taking out the Pokeball with Dragapult.

He remembered Social Dinosaur telling him wandering souls don’t harm the living!

Could it be—
