Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1204 -707: Transforming Devil

“Quick, dodge!!”

The fierce howling of the sand could not drown out Zhengyi’s shout.

Gliscor stared at the cold-eyed Porygon II, its golden pupils suddenly shrinking to pinpoints as the sharp teeth loosened from the opponent’s body, its bat wings quickly adjusted to use the gathering sand to leave the open space.

It is a Pokémon that can supposedly circle the globe with just a breeze.

However, as a Pokémon relying on gliding flight, its retreat speed was ultimately incomparable to those wing-flapping bird Pokémon.

Besides, Porygon II’s reaction speed wasn’t slow enough for them to be so close and still let it escape.

Evasion and evasion are different!

“Pling!”

An ice-blue lightning shot from the tip of the oval tail, the extremely cold light seemed to freeze the air along the way, the flying sand had long turned snowy white, as if the sandstorm had turned into a snowstorm.

No way to dodge!

At the moment Gliscor’s bat wings retracted and dove down, Zhengyi understood that the Frozen Beam would undoubtedly hit it.

“Feath…”

Grrr—Boom!!

After a teeth-wincing, shrill low moan, a cold mist suddenly exploded in mid-air, sending chills to many spectators.

Immediately.

The giant ice-block-turned Gliscor fell from the mist, crashing to the ground, shattering into countless ice shards.

Four times the weakness to Ice Attribute hitting directly: Gliscor was likely doomed.

The juice vendor sighed; though the sandstorm blurred his view, he thought Gliscor’s reckless attack against Porygon II was a brave yet unwise move.

Baimu obviously calculated this!

Discharging over a wide area beat the Shadow Clone, took Thunder Fang to locate the real body, then countered with a close-range Frozen Beam.

Compared to Sandslash with claw distance limits, the Frozen Beam of that Pokémon named Porygon II spanning ten meters was no challenge!

Under famed names, no weaklings linger.

Sir Zhengyi couldn’t withstand Baimu’s power at all!

The vendor thought it would be a dragon-tiger fight—

Huh!?

Out of the corner of his eye, a glimpse of pure white feathers caught his attention; feathers? Neither Gliscor nor Porygon II are feathered Pokémon?

“It’s Feather Rest! Gliscor hasn’t lost its combat ability!”

“Damn, it actually held on!”

“The duration of Frozen state was so short! How come I’m never this lucky!”

So bizarre was the situation that some spoke profanely.

See white feathers materialize and fall onto Gliscor in ice blocks, with radiant green light echoing inside, the hard ice cracked, the crumbling sound overshadowing even the wind and sand.

Bang!

“Scor!!”

Gliscor shouted, spreading its bat wings and soaring, narrowly dodging Porygon II’s second Frozen Beam.

Zhengyi laughed heartily: “Well done, Gliscor!”

“Not bad.”

Even Baimu could not help but compliment.

But the reason for praise was not related to Gliscor’s ridiculous endurance, it was what happened at the Frozen Beam’s hit moment.

It’s well known that using [Feather Rest]requires landing to fold wings and rest.

Can Feather Rest be used without landing?

The answer: Yes.

The key to Feather Rest is rest, rather than vague elements like landing on “ground” or folding “wings” that invite pointless debate.

Pokémon, somewhat idealistic entities, can perform Feather Rest by executing resting behavior without touching down anywhere.

Moreover.

Feather Rest’s effect is losing Flying Attribute for stamina recovery.

Another question arises.

Does Feather Rest first regain stamina, or first lose the Flying Attribute?

Experienced trainers know it’s the latter.

Thus, the situation was clear.

Gliscor withdrew its bat wings at the Frozen Beam strike, maintained resting to perform Feather Rest, sacrificing its Flying Attribute.

With one less restrained attribute, its endurance indirectly improved.

Though unexpected Frozen status nearly overturned the plan, Flying Attribute Energy formed Holy Feather appeared eventually.

It successfully escaped with momentum.

“Shadow Clone!” Zhengyi shouted again.

“Scor!”

Gliscor responded loudly as countless flickering lights appeared around it, transforming into identical Gliscors.

They concealed in the sandstorm, once again becoming fluttering shadows.

Same trick again?

The spectators argued heatedly.

Some believed Gliscor once faltered due to this approach, nearly failing to fly, it logically should adopt more reliable tactics?

Others thought Gliscor, having lost its Flying Attribute, couldn’t be defeated quickly by Porygon II, it could recover with Feather Rest, so surely planned sustained damage through this strategy.

Frozen status isn’t always present, Reflective Wall would eventually dissipate.

Debate flooded outside, while inside, Baimu’s gaze deepened as he shouted:

“Angularization!”

“Pling!”

Porygon II quickly morphed in a flash of white light, transforming from toy duck shape to a long rod-like form.

Ditto!?

Seeing this, spectators forgot their quarrel, staring in surprise at the rod-shaped Porygon II.

Gliscor was startled too, yet its trainer Zhengyi, having prepared materials, stayed calm.

“Charge again!”

Zhengyi shouted.

Countless Gliscor clones moved together through the sandstorm, charging Porygon II from multiple angles, their motion identical to the last round.
