Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 289: Chapter 286: Building Block Duck

If we say Aggron went through all the trouble, and successfully mastered Dragon Attribute energy, managing to suspend it near its head is worth celebrating.

Then what Deino brings is sheer shock.

”Comparing goods can make you want to throw things away, comparing people can make you want to die. After all, it’s a Dragon Attribute Pokémon, don’t be too upset.”

He comforted Aggron.

In front of them, Deino sprinted back and forth crazily in the field like a mad dog, indigo Dragon Attribute energy occasionally surging from its body, transforming into a ferocious Energy Dragon Head.

”Roar—”

”Roar, Roar—”

This little one was like a primary school student who just learned to ride a bicycle, constantly shouting to attract the attention of its male ”mom”, Baimu, to show off its new skills.

”Great! Awesome! Deino is so strong!”

The latter could only keep responding vocally, after all, this little blind dragon couldn’t see, and without speaking, it wouldn’t know if the Trainer was paying attention to it.

”Roar!”

Hearing his encouragement, Deino became even more excited.

Aggron was somewhat unconvinced, why didn’t you learn Dragon’s Pulse this quickly? Huh?

Learning Dragon Dive and comparing with me?

No, I am the ace, I have to have the demeanor of an ace.

Aggron kept suppressing the anger in its heart, maintaining a calm and collected exterior, not at all like the fierce Pokémon many people imagined it to be.

The wild Aggron, bewildered, looked at the excited Deino which was like a Husky, then at the smiling Baimu, and—

Dared not look any longer, worried that a ”What are you looking at?” would get it into trouble.

It certainly wasn’t very cultured, but it understood not to provoke someone in anger, especially when that someone was stronger than you.

”Alright, alright, let’s call it a day, that’s enough for today.”

Baimu stopped the frenetic Deino.

From when Aggron grasped the Dragon Attribute energy till now, more than half an hour had passed.

During this half hour, the wild Aggron earnestly demonstrated the process of releasing Dragon Dive, while the Big Monster and the little blind dragon also learned earnestly.

And ultimately, as shown now.

This was only the second practice, and Deino had already mastered Dragon Dive.

How many days did it take Pikachu to learn Iron Tail? Not very sure, but judging by the series, it took four episodes.

”Having a diligent genius in the team is also not easy.” Baimu sighed, shaking his head, collecting the three Pokémon and sending them to the hall for Miss Joy.

Afterwards.

He returned to the field and first released Chansey.

”Lucky~”

”Once the new companion comes out, keep an eye on it. If it tries to run away, don’t let it go too far and bother others.” He warned gently.

Chansey nodded to show understanding.

Baimu then released Porygon.

Bang!

With a flash of white light, Porygon, expanded several times like a paper crane blown up, landed.

This guy’s whole body was covered with angles, with almost no curved lines anywhere, even the outer contour of the eyes was hexagonal, with only the part representing the pupil being a small black dot.

”Pory?”

Porygon glanced around with its deadpan eyes, seemingly not expecting to find itself in this place.

”Hello.”

Baimu crouched down, offering a hand in friendliness, ”Dr. Akihabara entrusted you to me for care, from now on, we are partners. I am Baimu, and this is Chansey.”

”Lucky~” Chansey waved its little hand in greeting.

Porygon looked at them, as if recording them in its memory unit, paused for a second, and then its bean-like pupils bent into crescents.

”Pory~”

It floated up from the ground, happily swaying the two polygonal blue blocks symbolizing legs.

Oh?

It can fly?

Baimu was surprised at Porygon’s ability to free itself from gravity’s restraint, and delighted that it was much friendlier and kinder than he imagined, suggesting that Dr. Akihabara had put in significant effort to popularize Porygon.

As for Porygon II... It seemed its intelligent learning system couldn’t be effectively controlled, which might have been an embarrassment for Dr. Akihabara.

No wonder he didn’t promote it as much despite having such a good evolution form; no one would want a Pokémon that despises them every day.

Compared to that, Rotom is much better, like Ash Ketchum’s Rotom Illustrated Guide, it’s always amazed and astonished by his antics, adding a touch of humor.

Baimu opened the mobile Illustrated Guide to check its various stats again.

[Pokémon: Porygon]

[Attribute: Normal]

[Gender: None]

[Height: 80cm/Weight: 36.5kg]

[Trait: Download]

[Level: 35]

[Moves: Tackle/Texture/Texture 2/Angularization]

[Illusion Beam/High-speed Movement/Self-Rebirth]

[Electromagnetic Levitation/Signal Beam/Recycle]

”It should be said that it’s a well-designed Pokémon, everything is too stable.” He compared the document Dr. Akihabara sent to his phone last night with the Illustrated Guide’s content.

The document listed the moves Porygon could learn, which moves it could automatically learn at what level, and even without deliberate learning, it could grasp them on its own.

Unlike ordinary Pokémon, some Pikachu can learn Thunderbolt at level forty-four, while some may never learn it in their lifetime without actively learning.

Of course.

Porygon also has many moves that need to be learned actively, all of which Dr. Akihabara had listed.

But undoubtedly, Porygon has no Egg Moves.

In terms of traits, it was originally designed with two kinds, [Trace] and [Download], but by some stroke of luck, a third hidden trait [Analytic] was born.

The Porygon that Dr. Akihabara entrusted to Baimu had the second trait [Download].

The effect is: If the opponent’s Defense is lower than the Special Defense, then Porygon’s Physical Attack is boosted; if the opponent’s Defense is higher than the Special Defense, then Special Attack is boosted.

Overall, whatever the opponent is weaker in, it boosts that, which is quite beneficial for offense, pretty nice indeed.

The pity is only Porygon with [Trace] can evolve into the final form Porygon Z, changing its trait to [Adaptability], increasing the move’s attribute bonus to 100%.

At first glance, the final stats bonus might not seem better than [Download], but it excels in stable output.

However, Baimu was not in a hurry to evolve Porygon to its final stage, especially since Dr. Akihabara had not mentioned Porygon Z’s existence online.

Perhaps it might be quite dangerous.

After all, its evolution relies on a Suspicious Patch, and according to the Illustrated Guide, it was intended to allow it to access the Other Dimensional Space.

It might possess some inexplicable horror like the anime version of Malamar.

The Pokémon animation team loves to create some mind-bending stuff, without considering the transmigrators who might actually cross into the animated Pokémon World.

”Anyway, you need to grow up, my Porygon buddy.”

Baimu tentatively placed his hand on Porygon’s head and seeing it showed no rejection, even playfully wiggling its leg attachments, he was slightly relieved.
