Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 275: Chapter 272: Ancient Murals

Sableye once again watched as Baimu went off into the distance.

If it were to play Poké Blogger, it would surely note Baimu as a ”super unbelievably generous human friend”.

A huge chunk of iron that not even Aron could gnaw through, a stone it had hidden away for ages without much appetite but deemed precious, in exchange for so many delicious treats!

And after trading with the Arons, it could get even more food. Anyway, the Arons don’t eat gems, only metals.

Mutual benefit is indeed the case.

However, it wasn’t planning to exchange the impressive Poké Blocks, such fragrant things are definitely to be savored personally.

On the other side.

Baimu held the gems that Sableye had stuffed into his hands, feeling rather complex.

”Forget it, no point overthinking, everyone’s happy.”

He shook his head, gazing at the waterfall cave he found himself at for the third time, finally releasing the ”wild” Aggron he had previously captured.

”Guh huh? Guh huh!”

Wild Aggron landed, calmed by the familiar surroundings, but upon seeing Baimu and the fellow species that had overpowered it, it felt apprehensive.

Without a doubt, it had been defeated by Aggron, completely losing the initial aggressiveness it displayed when encountering the intruder.

”Don’t be tense, stay calm, I won’t hurt you.”

Baimu slowly approached, and upon reaching the wild Aggron, first fed it a bunch of leftover ordinary Poké Blocks.

With tasty bites in its mouth, it chewed heartily, and its tense expression instantly relaxed.

Now, without hesitation.

Baimu began to scratch its itches, knowing perfectly where Aggron’s weak spots were from being its Trainer, the places that often itched but were hard to reach and were only scratched against walls.

After a thorough sequence of moves, the wild Aggron’s gaze cleared significantly, no longer so anxious when glancing around.

Seeing the timing was right, Baimu opened his mouth requesting that it learn a move, promising more Poké Blocks and guaranteeing its return to its territory.

No other choice.

Big Monster disapproved of other Aggrons invading its territory—yes, it regarded fellow species thriving on its mountainside as an invasion.

Thinking about itself growing out there, while fellow species occupied its turf flaunting their might made Aggron uncomfortable all over.

It expressed this, making even Baimu who hadn’t intended to take it away, not dare to entertain such thoughts.

Luckily, the wild Aggron was unaware that a colossal mountain was moving far away from it, joyfully accepted the Poké Blocks and agreed to the human’s request in front of it.

Successfully acquiring the move [Dragon Dive].

Immediately.

Baimu inquired of the wild Aggron whether there were other Aggrons nearby, receiving a regrettable negative reply.

In order to occupy this waterfall pool, it diligently evolved from Aron to Lairon, then further evolved into Aggron, becoming the boss at the deepest layer of Stone Cave.

Looks like a pool can only spawn one Aggron... why hasn’t a second Aron evolved to compete with it?

This might need to be explained by Dr. Oda, who studies Pokémon habitats.

Baimu asked questions about other matters in disappointment.

Imagining since Stone Cave contained Super Stones, then surely the ancient murals in Gemstone Reproduction exist, he wanted to have a look.

But the wild Aggron clearly couldn’t comprehend what murals meant, until Baimu sketched out rough patterns from memory did it seemingly grasp what he was referring to.

”Is this it?”

”Guh huh!”

Seeing the wild Aggron nod, Baimu couldn’t help but get excited, ”Where? Quickly, take me there!”

The previous then began to lead the way.

Without a doubt, the murals were located in the deepest parts of Stone Cave, the first encounters with Da Wu and the first battle with Xijana in Gemstone Reproduction happened in this place.

However, the mural didn’t contain any massive secrets honestly.

It depicted a seven-colored meteorite descending from the sky in ancient times awakening the super ancient Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre, stirring up their competition, and the Inheritor of the ancient Meteor People summoned Rayquaza who quelled their struggle.

Yet this belonged to the game’s background story, animation affected by various influences would adjust content, it’s unknown to which extent it’ll be altered.

But according to the anime’s special episode ”Special Strongest Mega Evolution”, the seven-colored meteorite seemed to exist, later utilized by Fladari who nearly destroyed Carlos.

Shortly thereafter.

The wild Aggron led him to the cave’s bottommost layer, two murals separated by some distance came within view.

One depicted a dinosaur-like Big Monster, breathing spiraling flames skyward, accompanied by thick smoke, with its feet surrounded by erupting volcanoes.

The other depicted a massive whale-like Pokémon conjuring storm clouds and lightning, causing a ruckus in the ocean, likewise tilting its head skyward.

Both observed a triangular meteor descending from the sky.

Admittedly, this mural was intriguing, Baimu couldn’t resist capturing several shots with his camera.

”Judging by the legendary Giant Stone in the anime, this might really be an ancient seven-colored meteorite preserved by the ancient Meteor People and inadvertently discovered by Da Wu and Ailan, resulting in a calamity.”

He murmured softly.

Strictly speaking, the special episode ”Special Strongest Mega Evolution” was made to promote Gemstone Reproduction but linking it with the XY main storyline surely surprised many.

Aggron and Mawile viewed the murals, entirely oblivious to its conveyed meaning, they wandered around hoping to find nice things to earn praises from their Trainer.

Yet the place held nothing besides dirt.

”Wonder if the animation world has Xijana.” Baimu set aside the camera, as the principal NPC of the Mega Rayquaza Meteoroid Chapter, she represented the Inheritor of the Meteor People.

Her attempts to gain Rayquaza’s approval, in pursuit of saving the world were ruthless, but ultimately couldn’t eclipse the player’s protagonist aura, Rayquaza chose the player and successfully mega-evolved obliterating the meteoroid, averting the world’s destruction crisis.

The title of Inheritor was granted to the player.

If the animation’s Meteor People also possessed this occupation, Xijana might exist too.

——

A half-hour later.

Baimu exited the cave.

Though he failed to encounter an Aggron adept in Double-bladed Head Hammer, Dragon Dive was pretty decent, moreover, with a Super Stone and odd metallic black block.

Reemerging into sunlight allowed him to breathe a lengthy sigh, the salty breeze brought by the sea wind made him take several deep sniffs.

Compared to the cave’s dusty ambience, the sea wind smelled far better.

At once, he photographed the black block, Super Stone, and assorted gems, forwarded them to Laisa asking about their merit. Sadly, her prompt reply was absent.

She must be busy.
