Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 1127: Chapter 714: Recruiting Top Talent, Doctor of Engineering (Part 3)

Additionally, the issue of low load capacity and inadequate battery range in electric trucks is a significant problem.

So, even before Doomsday, in the wave of new energy, electric trucks and cargo vehicles remained unmoved.

”Director Li.”

”Director Li.”

”Director Li.”

....

Many cooperative personnel around greeted Li Yu, and Li Yu responded.

Zhang San also saw Li Yu approaching, so he got off the vehicle, removed his welding helmet, and said to Li Yu, ”City Lord, hello. Give me one more day with this vehicle, and it will be done. To address the range issue you mentioned, we’re using the simple and direct method of stacking batteries, which could extend the range to over 2000 kilometers. If we need more, we’ll have to consider the motor issue....”

Li Yu nodded slightly, looking at the sweat-drenched Zhang San, feeling quite satisfied.

Then he pulled out Old Dong from behind him, just about to introduce him.

Zhang San saw Old Dong and exclaimed in disbelief, ”Professor Dong Tao! What are you doing here?”

Perhaps people outside the industry may not know Dong Tao, but within the industry, people certainly recognize this top figure.

This Professor Dong Tao is a giant figure in their field of power research.

Old Dong didn’t know Zhang San, and looked at him in surprise, and asked, ”May I know who you are?”

”I’m Zhang San. I saw you at the South China Power Forum before. You probably don’t know me, but back then we took a big group photo together.” Zhang San scratched his head shyly, as his skills at the time were not enough to qualify him to speak on stage.

Old Dong thought for a moment and seemed to recall such an event.

Li Yu heard Zhang San’s words and saw his excited expression, and his smile became even more radiant.

So he said to Old Dong, ”Take a look at this modified electric truck. What do you think?”

Zhang San didn’t find anything inappropriate and humbly said, ”Professor Dong, please give some guidance.”

Once Old Dong delved into his field of expertise, his entire demeanor changed.

He became incredibly confident, walked over to the electric truck, examined the electronic control system, and checked the method of battery stacking, shook his head, and said, ”Although the range has indeed increased to 2000 kilometers, there is an issue of instability. The electronic control system isn’t well-constructed, but this issue can be easily resolved with just......

Also, batteries are inherently afraid of water, so the water barrier is crucial. Water-resistant materials are easy to find, the key lies in the design and structure......”

Old Dong spoke grandiosely, as if he were ruling the country.

Zhang San on the side listened attentively, continually nodding, with his eyes glittering.

If he had a notebook and pen in hand, he would certainly want to jot down notes immediately.

Li Yu couldn’t fully understand, but he felt that Old Dong indeed had some real skills.

So he turned his head and said to Dapao behind him, ”Keep a close eye on Old Dong, don’t let him get away. Even if he doesn’t want to stay, we need to force him to stay.”

Dapao heard this and nodded firmly.

”Understood, I brought rope.”

”Oh dear, I didn’t mean that,” Li Yu said speechlessly.

But after thinking about it, he added:

”Never mind, just make sure he doesn’t leave. If he refuses to stay, force him to, but do it politely, don’t be too rough, we are courteous people.”

”Mm, be polite, I understand,” Dapao agreed sincerely.

OS:

Recently, my biological clock is messed up, and I’ve been experiencing insomnia, feeling somewhat in a daze.

Furthermore, it’s been several months without taking a break or interrupting updates, and I never stockpile manuscripts. Once I write, I can’t help but want to publish immediately. I write seventeen thousand and publish seventeen thousand, write ten thousand and publish ten thousand. So everything I write is fresh, written and published the same day.

Originally, I thought about taking a break today, but considering the dear readers waiting, and also fearing a loss of readership if I took a break.

But my body felt unwell, and I was worried about making the readers wait, so I took a cold shower to pep myself up and then started typing.

Sorry everyone, just one Chapter today; I’ll make it up later, as old readers know, I keep my word, like a small investor who delivers on promises.
