The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 1295: Chapter 1295: Internship Requirements

Xv Zhina and Liou Qingcheng’s personalities are somewhat similar. They’re both quite outstanding and proud people.

Everyone who interacts with Liou Qingcheng knows that although she’s proud, she treats people fairly peaceably. However, there are very few who can become friends with her or hang out with her, as she’s polished yet principled.

As for Xv Zhina? Rather than saying she’s like Liou Qingcheng, it’s better to say her personality falls somewhere between Liou Qingcheng and Mei Ruyan’s. Her pride is written all over her face, making her hard to approach and making friendship with her challenging. To become her friend, you first need to catch her eye.

Then there’s Hua Dongxu, the disciple of Xiaocheng, a legendary healer. Mature and sexy, approachable and amiable – not only are the teachers at school familiar with him, but many students are also well-acquainted with him.

What kind of sparks will fly if these two date? Lin Tian wanted to know, and Liou Qingcheng wanted to know even more. She turned her head slightly to sneak a peek at Xv Zhina’s expression.

What Liou Qingcheng hadn’t expected was that when she turned her head, Xv Zhina was also looking at her and Lin Tian. More accurately, her gaze hadn’t shifted away.

From Xv Zhina’s expression and eye contact, Liou Qingcheng could see there was curiosity similar to her own, but beyond curiosity, there was a blush on her cheeks, as if she were a flower ready to bloom after the spring rain.

Suddenly, Liou Qingcheng realized something and grabbed Lin Tian’s arm, saying, ”I remembered, this...”

Before Liou Qingcheng could finish, the teacher for this class strode in through the door. It was nearly two or three minutes past the start bell. To be precise, this teacher was late.

And what surprised Lin Tian even more was that he knew this teacher—it was Hua Dongxu, the person Liou Qingcheng had mentioned.

After a moment of surprise, Lin Tian realized that having lost a medical bet with Zhao Xuefeng, Hua Dongxu was naturally staying at the school to teach, since his teaching period wasn’t finished. This should also be the reason Xv Zhina was staying here.

Hua Dongxu stepped onto the podium and first bowed slightly to the students below. Using the clear and exact Celestial Dragon Continent language, he said brightly, ”Sorry, I’m late by three minutes.”

Hua Dongxu is a decent person, and his teaching style, though rigorous, is not dull, gaining the students’ admiration.

Seeing his bowing and apology, which seemed excessively polite, the students shouted loudly:

”No worries, Teacher. We understand you slept in.”

”Maybe you were just having breakfast.”

Another student joked, ”Teacher, give us the key exam topics, and next time you can skip class, and we’ll forgive you.”

The classroom burst into laughter again.

Lin Tian didn’t join in the lively conversation. Instead, he nudged Liou Qingcheng’s shoulder and asked, ”What did you remember just now?”

Liou Qingcheng smiled wryly, ”Nothing, just remembered this is Mr. Hua’s class.”

Standing on the podium, Hua Dongxu seemingly learned some gestures from attending many meetings, pressing his hands down to quiet the room slightly. Then, he said, ”Actually, I didn’t oversleep, nor was I held up by breakfast. Mr. Zhao, the director, just had some discussions with me about establishing a new department of ancient medicine. Mr. Zhao, the principal’s last class, was so packed that he didn’t have time to tell everyone, so I’ll do it.”

Upon hearing this, the students stopped joking around and widened their eyes, eagerly waiting for Hua Dongxu’s next statement.

”Everyone knows Kanyue City Hospital is affiliated with our school and is one of the top hospitals along with Kanyue City Central Hospital. However, not every graduate can stay in the affiliated hospital to work – they’re dispatched nationwide or to areas where their hometown resides. But those matters concern your post-graduation in senior year.”

”Currently, the new department Mr. Zhao, the principal, and Mr. Zhang from the Ministry of Health are aiming to set up urgently needs people, especially knowledgeable ancient medicine practitioners. Thus, they’ll recruit from our school, and it’ll be during summer break – essentially a summer job, lasting two months. Aside from graduating seniors, freshmen to juniors can participate. Room and board are covered, including a salary. Furthermore...”

At the crucial part, Hua Dongxu elongated his tone, teasing the students below, eager for more information. What a mischievous teacher!

Under an impatiently inquisitive gaze, Hua Dongxu slowly continued, ”Moreover, this internship will be recorded in your resume and personal file, becoming a prominent highlight. Just how prominent depends on your performance during the internship. Additionally, as freshmen students, participating in such a significant ancient medicine internship is a rare opportunity to learn experiences potentially richer than campus life.”

The students’ faces were filled with barely concealed excitement upon hearing the internship will be noted in personal records. Undoubtedly, those able to join are lucky; indeed earning such luck requires strength.

Suddenly, Qiu Wen, sitting beside Liou Qingcheng, raised her hand loudly, ”Mr. Hua, I want to participate.”

About ninety percent of the classroom raised their hands too, loudly expressing the same intent as Qiu Wen.

What Lin Tian hadn’t expected was for Qiu Wen to be the first to raise her hand. Given her previous personality, she certainly wouldn’t have been the first, nor would she join the classroom’s chorus. She used to be very quiet, like a stealth marcher.

Her personality change is quite significant, as if she became a different person.

Hua Dongxu pressed his hands downward again, saying brightly, ”Mr. Zhao asked me to share this news, and I’m simply a messenger. I can’t decide anything, and I’m not yet part of this department just like everyone else, so telling me doesn’t matter.”

At this moment, Hua Dongxu chuckled and continued, ”I suppose that’s why he didn’t personally inform you as he’s more afraid of the commotion than I am.”

The classroom erupted in laughter again. Then a student asked, ”Mr. Hua, how can we participate in this internship? You must know, right?”

”Yes,” Hua Dongxu nodded, ”I do know. It’s quite simple – it’s based on your overall academic performance for this semester and the past one. So excluding a few extraordinary situations, most students’ end-of-semester exam results will directly affect participation eligibility. Hence, this time’s exams will be stricter, with more realistic questions, and your usual behavior scores will be more demanding. Thus, trying to ingratiate with your teacher won’t help; it all depends on yourselves.”
