The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 1285: Chapter 1285: Li’s Beautiful Assistant

”Do you mind adding one more?”

When such a flirtatious line came out of Zhang Ya’Er’s mouth, Lin Tian didn’t feel moved at all, because she knew this woman was joking, not credible at all.

As if kidding, someone who could chop off others’ fingers, now so ladylike and flirtatious, how could her words be trusted? Besides, Zhang Ya’Er’s gambling skills and tricks are top-notch.

”You don’t believe me?” Zhang Ya’Er asked persistently.

”I don’t.”

”It’s rare for me to be so serious, never mind, in the future, even if someone as handsome and considerate as you, I still need to find someone better at it than you.”

”...” Lin Tian was speechless for a few seconds, then said, ”Then you might have to stay single forever.”

Zhang Ya’Er was stunned for a moment, then giggled and said, ”Indeed, I saw it just now in the car, you got quite a package~ To find someone better at it than you, maybe I’ll have to look for a black or white guy.”

Lin Tian used the tongs to flip over the skewers on the grill and said, ”You seem to be in a great mood today.”

”It’s pretty good, I’m quite satisfied with this meal.” While laughing, Zhang Ya’Er then seriously said, ”Also, these past few days inside, I have thought it through, I won’t gamble anymore.”

Zhang Ya’Er still remembered that day in the gambling scene, discussing with Lin Tian for a long time about Bole and the thousand-mile horse. Lin Tian had asked her, ”Do you really want to live this kind of life forever?”

This sentence has never left Zhang Ya’Er’s ears, sounding loud and clear.

She didn’t want to gamble anymore, didn’t want to cheat anymore. That nerve-wracking life was too oppressive. Even when chopping off DS’s finger, Zhang Ya’Er felt a sense of empathy.

She feared that one day she would end up like DS.

These, are the real reasons why Zhang Ya’Er would help Lin Tian. She wanted to live a new life! Wanted to walk in the sunshine!

Lin Tian had promised before, he wouldn’t treat her like a pawn, but as a thousand-mile horse, a potential stock.

At this point, Zhang Ya’Er put down the chopsticks in her hand. She seriously looked at Lin Tian and cautiously asked, ”Go ahead, what do you plan to arrange for me?”

Before Lin Tian could answer, Zhang Ya’Er hastily added, ”Let me say this first! This time I risked a lot to help you. If you don’t give me a decent job, that’s severing bridges after crossing the river!”

Lin Tian smiled and asked, ”What can you do?”

Zhang Ya’Er leaned back slightly, resting on the chair, and said, ”I asked you this question before too. You said back then if you can’t, you can learn, also said I’m so smart, surely I can learn.”

Lin Tian smiled again, remembering having asked her that. Unexpectedly, she remembered so clearly.

”So, does this mean you’re willing to learn?”

”Ori...” halfway through her sentence, Zhang Ya’Er paused and asked, ”You first say, learn what?”

”Learn management, learn economics, and also develop excellent skills.” Lin Tian said.

Zhang Ya’Er was puzzled, looking at Lin Tian without understanding.

”Heard of Black Gold Bao’an Company?” Lin Tian asked.

Zhang Ya’Er nodded. ”I know, it trains security guards and bodyguards, eighty percent are retired special forces. I remember it’s also a nemesis of the Wang Family. You want me to go there to manage people?”

Lin Tian shook his head and said, ”It’s not so simple to manage people. You also know it’s a group of capable people there, and besides, you’re a woman, it’s not easy to manage them, is it? So, you have a lot to learn. Black Gold has many capable people, but lack someone like a strategist, needs foresight, needs a flexible mind.”

Zhang Ya’Er thought for a while and said, ”I can tell you’re not a professional, speaking so vaguely. But, I somewhat understood.”

Lin Tian chuckled, indeed Zhang Ya’Er was right, he was just half-knowledgeable. And he had heard all this yesterday at the agritainment from Li.

Li is now considered high-level at Black Gold, managing personnel and funds, sometimes dealing with some difficult customers.

For Li’s performance, Wu Yong and Tian Ming and Pang Yu all think highly of him, even gave him the nickname ’Little Zhuge.’ Enough to show Li’s position as the think tank in the company.

But no matter how smart Li is, he is just one person, sometimes unable to handle everything. Moreover, recruiting an assistant isn’t easy, because Black Gold isn’t as simple on the surface, there are many shady gray industries.

So, to recruit a talent for this position, loyalty comes first, otherwise, if one day an undercover ’blows’ the whole company up, that’d be utterly disastrous!

When drinking yesterday, Li had complained to him about this issue. Alone, he really couldn’t manage everything, and because he had missed too many classes, he’s already on the blacklist of many teachers including Zhao Xuefeng. Unless he gives gifts at the end of the semester, otherwise failing is certain. Of course, Li also knows Zhao Xuefeng’s personality, wouldn’t dare to give him gifts, so surely need to retake it next semester.

Looking at Zhang Ya’Er, firstly, there’s nothing to pick on her figure and looks. Secondly, her mind is sharp and her IQ is online, which can be seen from her cheating days, among three cheaters, she was the core. Lastly, she has courage! When chopping DS’s finger, it was fast, accurate, and ruthless!

Such a woman is equally dangerous, a double-edged sword. But Lin Tian feels she can be used and can be arranged at Black Gold.

”Am I starting from the bottom?” Zhang Ya’Er blinked and asked.

Lin Tian thought for a moment and said, ”No, it’s to be an assistant to the company’s think tank, considered a mid-level position.”

Zhang Ya’Er nodded. Then asked, ”What kind of person is he? Is he easy to get along with?”

Hearing her ask this, Lin Tian immediately recalled Li wearing glasses. He couldn’t help but curl his lips and said, ”Tall and slender, with a fair face, wearing a pair of black round-framed glasses, dressed simply and cleanly, his looks are slightly inferior to mine.”

Speaking of this, Lin Tian couldn’t help but emphasize, ”He appears aloof on the surface, but actually he’s extremely introverted!”

”Pfft~” Zhang Ya’Er laughed covering her mouth, ”You’re no good either, talking about him like this behind his back. But listening to you, he seems a bit interesting.”

Lin Tian asked, ”Do you want me to call him over now, so you two can meet?”

Zhang Ya’Er didn’t even think, shaking her head twice, saying, ”You already said, I am his assistant, there’s no reason for the boss to come and meet a subordinate.”

Lin Tian thought about it and agreed.

Zhang Ya’Er added, ”There’s also...”

”Hmm?”

Under Lin Tian’s puzzled gaze, Zhang Ya’Er shyly said, ”I don’t want to see that third wheel.”
