The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 1287: Chapter 1287: A Knife in the Back

A suddenly appearing tall person stood a meter in front of them, his back to the light source, making it hard to see his face.

But the boning knife in his hand flashed with a chilling gleam, making people feel intimidated.

Zhang Ya’Er was clearly startled by this unexpected appearance, her foggy mind suddenly becoming more alert.

Her first reaction was to pull Lin Tian back; even if they had to fight, shouldn’t they have a handy weapon? Otherwise, fighting a man with a boning knife barehanded—it would be insane!

However, what Zhang Ya’Er didn’t expect was that Lin Tian seemed really crazy, and it was severe. He actually shook off her hand, and advanced towards the man.

”court death.”

Unexpectedly, the man holding the boning knife spoke some very fluent English, and Lin Tian, with his good English skills, understood it meant ’seeking death.’

”Who dies isn’t certain yet.”

With fierce determination in his heart, Lin Tian took a step forward, closing in on the man, hooked his right hand around the back of his neck, and at the same time his right knee lifted high, he pressed his right hand down hard on the man’s neck.

Thud~

A dull sound followed as the force from Lin Tian’s right knee seemed to smash the man’s internal organs to pieces. The man screamed in pain with teeth clenched, shocked by the brutality of this Celestial Dragon Continent man.

The pain didn’t weaken the man’s resolve; rather, it made him calmer. He gritted his teeth tightly and stabbed directly towards Lin Tian’s ribs with the boning knife in his right hand.

Since seeing the boning knife, Lin Tian had been on guard against the attack. So when the man moved, Lin Tian responded instantly. His left hand formed a knife-like shape and chopped down hard on the man’s wrist.

”Ah~”

In pain, the man’s wrist gave way, and while screaming, the boning knife clattered to the ground. Lin Tian flicked it lightly with his toe, sending it under the car.

”Still trying to stab your grandfather. Damn lunatic!”

Lin Tian cursed quietly, then grabbed the man’s wrist, twisting his arms behind his back, pressing him forward, pinning him on the car hood.

But Lin Tian felt it wasn’t enough to release his anger. With one hand restraining his arms, the other grabbed his sparse hair and lifted it, then slammed it down hard again on the hood.

With a thud, the man instantly fainted, his forehead split open and blood flowing.

At that moment, Lin Tian heard footsteps behind him, followed by Zhang Ya’Er’s scream: ”Ah~ Save...”

Before she could finish the word ’life,’ Zhang Ya’Er had her mouth covered by another white-skinned, yellow-haired M Country man. When Lin Tian turned around, he saw this M Country man also held a chilling boning knife, cutting Zhang Ya’Er across her back, yet still unsatisfied, raising the knife to strike her right arm!

In a split second, Lin Tian’s hand went to his waist, feeling into the pocket between belt and pants, and retrieved a two-and-a-half-inch black throwing knife, flicking his wrist to let it fly.

With a whistling sound, the knife hit the M Country man’s right shoulder. Blood spurted as he let out a low, painful scream, dropping the boning knife. The man wanted to retrieve the knife, but upon seeing Lin Tian rushing at him with killing intent, his face paled, and he fled, ignoring his companion and Zhang Ya’Er.

Lin Tian wanted to chase, but after two steps, Zhang Ya’Er suddenly collapsed. From Lin Tian’s angle, he saw white skin on Zhang Ya’Er’s back had been sliced open by the boning knife, the wound stretching from left shoulder down to right waist, about twenty centimeters long. Crimson blood oozed from the horrifying wound, soaking a large area of fabric.

Lin Tian was truly shocked; he hadn’t expected the wound to be so deep. If not treated promptly, she might die from excessive bleeding.

Without hesitation, Lin Tian crouched beside Zhang Ya’Er, channeling spiritual Qi through his fingers to seal her acupoints, then placed one hand on her lower abdomen’s Qi Sea acupoint, infusing her with spiritual Qi continuously. Things mustn’t deteriorate further!

After that, Lin Tian took out his phone with the other hand, calling Wu Yong. Once connected, he asked, ”Are you at the company?”

Wu Yong, sensing some hostility in Lin Tian’s tone, didn’t understand the reason but answered, ”Yes.”

”Quickly, send down a stretcher!” Lin Tian shouted into the phone.

”Okay!”

Ending the call, Lin Tian put his phone back, looking at Zhang Ya’Er’s nearly colorless face, his demeanor as bleak as storm clouds.

Lin Tian had a strong intuition that those two men with boning knives were targeting him, with Zhang Ya’Er unwittingly caught in the crossfire.

Thinking of this, Lin Tian felt uneasy; he bore responsibility for Zhang Ya’Er’s injury!

Suddenly, Lin Tian noticed Zhang Ya’Er’s brow wrinkle, appearing in pain.

Lin Tian lightly patted Zhang Ya’Er’s face, asking nervously, ”Zhang Ya’Er! Zhang Ya’Er! Can you hear me? If you can, blink your eyes.”

Zhang Ya’Er didn’t manage to blink, her eyes wouldn’t open, but Lin Tian saw her attempting to. She was trying hard!

”Alright, I know you can hear me. You need to stay awake; don’t fall asleep! I treated you to barbecue today; you haven’t reciprocated yet. Next time, I’m drinking Wuliangye; damn it, did you hear me?”

Zhang Ya’Er couldn’t respond, but seemed to gather all her strength, slowly lifting an arm, her icy hand gripping Lin Tian’s hand placed on her Qi Sea. Her lips moved softly, speaking in a faint voice, ”It’s warm...”

Lin Tian understood: the warmth she felt was the spiritual Qi entering her body, comforting like the winter sun...yet unable to replace the excruciating pain from the knife wound.

Just then, a dense sound of footsteps came from Black Gold Company’s entrance, and Lin Tian looked over; Wu Yong had finally arrived!

Following Wu Yong were He Tianming and Li, along with two tall men carrying a stretcher.

Seeing Zhang Ya’Er lying there, surrounded by a pool of blood, everyone was startled. Wu Yong disregarded questions about what happened, directing the tall men to gently lift Zhang Ya’Er onto the stretcher and take her to the company’s medical room.
