Rebirth in Famine: She Thrives by Lucky Space

Chapter 228: 228 wishes fulfilled

It took Tian Mingyan a good while before standing up and returning to the dormitory, but her mind was all about Jia Xingzhi.

On this side, Wei Kaiyun was riding his bike quickly, eager to get home, tired of staying with those people with their hypocritical words, feeling it was so pointless.

It took twenty minutes to get home, knocking on the door.

Jiang Xinyu’s hair had already dried by this time, she was eating canned peaches, heard the knock on the door, put on her coat and went to open it.

”Have you eaten?”

”I’ve eaten; today, Vice Factory Director Tian treated all the section chiefs and directors to a meal.”

Wei Kaiyun followed Jiang Xinyu into the house, seeing the books spread out on the kang table and the canned peaches.

”Wife, you’re quite enjoying life.”

”Do you want some? There’s a lot more. I made them myself.”

Wei Kaiyun picked up a spoon and took a bite directly, ”Mm, my wife is really skillful, these canned peaches taste much better than the store-bought ones.”

”Is there enough?”

”Enough, you don’t have to worry, I’ll clean up after eating. Is there hot water?”

”Yes, a big pot of it, and there’s some in the kettle too.”

”I’m going to shower.” Wei Kaiyun finished eating and went out with the bowl.

Jiang Xinyu also put away her textbooks, lowered the table. Lying in bed, she pulled out a book to read.

Half an hour later, Wei Kaiyun came in shirtless.

”Is this you showing off your youthful vitality? But you should think about your age.”

Wei Kaiyun just laughed; if it were usual, he would have refuted long ago, as he couldn’t bear Jiang Xinyu calling him old.

He saw the two quilts on the kang and didn’t say anything else, climbed into Jiang Xinyu’s quilt directly.

”Wife, today your time is mine.”

He spoke while his hands moved faster, grabbed the book from her hands and tossed it at the head of the kang, started to undress her.

”No way.”

”Wife, I can’t hold back anymore, I’m really impressed with myself for being able to endure for two years.”

Jiang Xinyu couldn’t match Wei Kaiyun at all, within two minutes, the two were embracing each other.

...

[A thousand words omitted here]

Afterwards, Wei Kaiyun resembled a satisfied leopard, letting Jiang Xinyu lie on top of him, gently caressing her back.

At this moment, their hearts were so close they could feel each other’s beating.

”Wife, you finally belong to me. I’m so happy. Xinyu, Xinyu, you’re mine now, Wei Kaiyun’s.”

Jiang Xinyu really had no energy left. She knew this would happen during this holiday, but didn’t expect Wei Kaiyun to be so anxious.

Listening to him rambling on calling her, she ignored him.

Wei Kaiyun looked at the little wife lying on him and felt overwhelmed by happiness.

Finally, the two were together, they were a couple, it was truly difficult, he had waited two years, and finally, it had happened. Wei Kaiyun felt himself standing on a cloud, extremely ecstatic.

When Jiang Xinyu woke up again.

Jiang Xinyu didn’t know how the night went anyway, her head felt dizzy, throat seemed dry.

Wei Kaiyun went to get some water, then held it in his mouth, passing it to his wife.

He found this method really good, his wife unconsciously swallowed, she must be quite thirsty.

But it couldn’t go on, it had been several times, it was already late at night, he didn’t want to be neglected tomorrow.

Jiang Xinyu knew she was having nightmares, feeling like she was held in a tiger’s mouth, about to be chomped.

Terrified, she opened her eyes, seeing Wei Kaiyun tightly holding her, wondered why she felt so exhausted? Turns out it was because he was holding her so tightly.

The two were wrapped in each other’s arms, Jiang Xinyu saw Wei Kaiyun’s eyelashes trembling, got startled and quickly closed her eyes.

Truly frightened of him. Remembering last night’s situation, this person really was shameless.

But didn’t she want this too? A previous life’s roommate’s words still echoed, ’Jiang Xinyu, you’ll be single your whole life, in decades you’ll become an old maid.’

Those words were like a thorn in her heart, which was why she agreed without being married in reality.

Wei Kaiyun woke up, looking at the little wife in his arms, no matter how he felt he couldn’t get enough.

Holding her in his arms, his hands started to move irregularly again.

When Jiang Xinyu got up it was already past nine.

”How can you be like this?”

”Haha, wife, you must understand, I’m already trying to restrain myself.”

”Shameless.”

Wei Kaiyun listened to Jiang Xinyu’s words and just laughed, as if saying no matter how she scolds it doesn’t matter.

Slowly getting up and dressed, while folding the quilts, seeing the stains on the mattress, feeling very conflicted.

Wei Kaiyun took over, ”Wife, should we keep this mattress?”

”Are you sick? Hurry up and take it down, you’re going to wash it.”

”Haha, understood.”

Moving off the kang, couldn’t even stand firm yet, still got hugged by Wei Kaiyun.

”It’s all your fault, no restraint at all.”

Wei Kaiyun just chuckled, ”Wife, what are you going to do?”

”Cook, I’m hungry.”

”Let me, let me, how about rice porridge?” Wei Kaiyun picked Jiang Xinyu back onto the kang, ”You wait, I’ll cook. Any snacks at home, should I bring some for you?”

”No, I want a meal. Let me cook, it’s the 28th of the twelfth lunar month, I really don’t want to eat your cooking.”

Wei Kaiyun helped Jiang Xinyu sit on the edge of the kang, squatting to put shoes on her.

Watching the man lowering his head to put shoes on for her, Jiang Xinyu felt she didn’t regret it.

She bossed Wei Kaiyun around, spinning him in circles. By eleven thirty, they finally had a sumptuous lunch.

Rice, a bowl of prettily placed small meat chunks, a bowl of red sliced meat, which were already arranged when Jiang Xinyu cooked them. A bowl of steamed intestine, a piece of braised fish which was made earlier. A plate of spicy tofu, a plate of vinegar cabbage, a plate of vermicelli intestines, a bowl of canned peaches.

”Wife, it feels better at home.”

”Pfft! You only think home is good when you eat.”

”You wrong me, as long as you’re here, I feel good.”

With such good meals, Jiang Xinyu also brought out a good bottle of wine given by Lv Beiguang, but Wei Kaiyun didn’t drink it. He was now very focused on health, wanting to accompany his wife for a lifetime.

After eating lunch sweetly together, in the afternoon, Wei Kaiyun kept bothering Jiang Xinyu, not letting her read peacefully.

”What do you want? Stop being annoying, I’m reading, keep messing around and I’ll sleep next door tonight.”

Wei Kaiyun heard his wife’s words and then behaved, but still stuck by Jiang Xinyu’s leg, soon fell asleep.

The evening was still leftovers from lunch, but Jiang Xinyu didn’t eat much, she really didn’t like eating such rich dishes in the evening.

But Wei Kaiyun was different, still ate meat heartily, filling himself up.

”Wife, where’s the bag I brought back? There’s a radio in it, if you get tired of reading, you can listen to the broadcast.”

”It’s in the west room, you go find it. I’m not reading tonight, my eyes are tired.”
