Rebirth in Famine: She Thrives by Lucky Space

Chapter 180: 180 Tongue Battle

”What does Director Jiang mean?” Tian Mingyan squinted her eyes and asked.

”Just as the words imply. Are you representing your textile factory?”

”Yes.”

”Haha, well then. I understand Vice Factory Director Tian’s intention and agree. You have taken a fancy to our technology and want it,” Jiang Xinyu said with a smile.

”Then why did you interrupt me with such a question?”

”Just curious. Vice Factory Director Tian can represent your textile factory, and I, Jiang Xinyu, as office director, can also represent our textile factory’s more than a thousand workers.

You want our research results, that’s fine, we’re all brother units after all. Even if bones break, they’re still connected by tendons.

Look, our Vice Factory Director Yao is very envious of the imported equipment from your textile factory’s eleventh workshop. Since that’s the case, we won’t ask for much, just give us half of the equipment.”

”On what basis? That’s ours.”

”Haha, we’re all contributing to the people, how do we separate yours and ours? Vice Factory Director Tian, don’t you agree?”

In the meeting room, there are only two female leaders, and the rest of the leaders from each textile factory watch without speaking.

”It’s not the same, we procured it ourselves,” Tian Mingyan was already beside herself.

”Haha, this new technology was researched day and night by our Vice Factory Director Yao and several of our engineers.

Vice Factory Director Tian, may I ask what the difference is?

You ask me on what basis, then I have to ask on what basis as well?

Also, our Mr. Qian risked his life twice going to Russia to procure raw materials, each time you want half, isn’t this procurement done by us?

On what basis? Why do you get half? Is it just because you have a wide face? Or because you get to set fires while we can’t even light a lamp?”

Jiang Xinyu asked calmly. But her words were clearly heard by everyone in the venue.

”Director Jiang, you’re being unreasonable.”

”Oh? I’m being unreasonable? But I haven’t been plundering unreasonably.”

Pan Xiulan looked at Jiang Xinyu with starry eyes and fawningly poured water for her.

”Director Jiang, we haven’t been plundering unreasonably either, it’s just that with this technology, shouldn’t it be shared? That way everyone can produce better products to serve the people.”

”Yes, that’s definitely the case. We’ve never thought about monopolizing it, that goes against the original intention of Vice Factory Director Yao and the workers, but please maintain a balanced attitude, after all, you have good items and we haven’t shamelessly asked for them.”

”Director Jiang, do you mean we have to exchange? Vice Factory Director Yao is still here.” Tian Mingyan stood straight, looking at Yao Shimin on the side, with a tendency to sow discord.

Yao Shimin laughed, ”Vice Factory Director Tian, don’t try to sow discord, our Director Jiang can represent all the workers in our factory, and furthermore, she represents me. I’m just a technical staff, I listen to everything Director Jiang says.”

Jiang Xinyu smiled at Tian Mingyan, this impulsive person, who made her speak first. It’s justified to get hit.

”Oh? So you’re saying Director Jiang wants us to agree to your request?”

”Yes, after all, we can’t let our over a thousand workers be disheartened.”

The venue was silent, actually they all arrived yesterday and had discussed this issue, they knew about their request. Who would want to give two percentage points of their product produced?

But seeing the attitude of Director Jiang, it’s really hard to say.

Wei Kaiyun sat on one side, arms crossed, poking at the desktop with a smile in his eyes. This little wildcat showed her claws.

”The leaders are all here, the days ahead are still long, it’s uncertain which family can also research some new product, should it all be like this? Should it all be unselfish dedication?

To better strengthen the friendship between our brother units, unselfish dedication is necessary, but it shouldn’t favor just one family. Now that everyone is here, let’s forget about our request, but I also want to take from each factory the equipment, technicians, and raw materials, after all, as you say, it’s all for better service to the people.”

Yao Shimin stood up too, ”I agree with the viewpoint of Director Jiang.”

”Secretary Pan, give me the investigation report, I want to see what we’re lacking and what good things others have.”

”Yes, Director Jiang.”

Now Tian Mingyan sat down too, realizing she had become the early bird, secretly glanced at Wei Kaiyun, he still had the same expression, not even giving her a glance.

”Haha, well, Director Jiang, aren’t we just discussing here?”

”Leaders, you continue discussing. You’re all big leaders, I, this little shrimp, will just sit here and listen.”

After saying this, she flipped through the stack of papers Pan Xiulan handed over. The pen in her hand kept spinning, making everyone dizzy watching.

”Director Jiang, our Management Bureau’s leadership team has already deliberated. Your request is very reasonable, we agree. Today, we’re here for the leaders of each textile factory to vote on it.”

”Thank you, leaders, for understanding us. You may not believe it, but before I came, our Mr. Qian specifically found me, saying our factory may not be big and the brother units haven’t extended much help to us, but we can still hold on.”

”Haha, Director Jiang exaggerates too much, who doesn’t know that your factory has an abundance of raw materials now? I heard Director Jiang was once Secretary to Director Wei and Mr. Qian, and a little girl was able to accompany them to Russia for raw materials, truly commendable bravery.”

The factory director of L City Textile Factory laughed softly.

”Haha, thank the leaders for their recognition, it’s what we should do. Since we’ve become workers of the textile factory, it’s our duty to produce more cloth so that the vast number of people can wear new clothes, this is the wish of all our factory’s more than a thousand workers.

As for our former factory director, Director Wei, and now Mr. Qian, they have devoted all their thoughts to the textile factory.

Our Vice Factory Director Yao stays in the workshop for half a month for what? To research more advanced machines, to produce higher quality finished products.”

”Haha, Director Jiang is really eloquent.”

Jiang Xinyu shook her head smiling, ”The leader thinks I’m eloquent because you know what I say are facts, all true.”

Everyone originally came thinking they’d gain some advantage, not expecting to be talked down by a little girl with just a few words.

”Everyone, don’t think we’re taking advantage of this, we want those two percentage points, actually part of it is a little reward for those researchers so they know the country, Management Bureau, and textile factory haven’t forgotten their merits. A bit of material reward is a token of appreciation.”
